Dollhouse Episode 7

After Ballard finally woke up and got with his neighbor in Dollhouse Season 1 Episode 6, the Dollhouse decided to use her to kill a handler gone bad. As for Ballard, he was suspended after Echo got him to shoot a cop.

Flashback to Caroline’s first meeting with Adelle. She offers her her life for her life. Adelle gets 5 years; Caroline gets the rest.

A client is looking for a missing vial of a memory drug. He wants an army of actives on this case. Topher recognizes this client. Clive Ambrose, co-chairman of the Rossum Corporation. He might throw up. That’s a compliment. Clive is there because Owen, a grad student, ingested one of the memory drugs, then promptly killed himself. The one missing vial is enough to take out the entire student body. Topher can help, or at least he can’t hurt.

Ballard likes taking care of Mellie, but she says she’s a lot stronger than she looks. He noticed that when she took out the Russian thug. Now he just has to figure out who that guy really is, even though he’s been suspended and is off the case.

The Dollhouse is on the case of the missing drugs. Sierra is a doctor. Victor is Tom, an NSA agent, which outranks Dominic (Rossum private security) by more than a whole bunch.

Echo’s on assignment. Old client, new fantasy. He plans to film them, but just as she’s setting up the video equipment, she switches over to a news report showing Freemont College, which causes her to leave. He’ll have to find some way to untie himself.

Topher’s got Mellie in his chair. He gives her a shot, so now they just need to wait a while. Meanwhile, he’ll have a juice box.

Echo arrives at the college, and she doesn’t know much of anything. Tom assumes she’s just another one of the kids who got their hands on the vial. She’s really just there to save him. Whoever him is. When she’s brought to the doctor, she meets up with Sam, who wants to prove someone killed his friend. Somehow, she knows a way into the lab, which kind of freaks her out. On their way in, Boyd stops her, but she would not like to have a treatment. His giddy laugh indicates he’s been infected.

Caroline and her friends are planning how to take Rossum down. They believe it’s an evil corporation with a hidden agenda. She hopes to get footage of them doing wrong so she can expose them online.

Dominic is getting giddy as well. Only he’s got a gun. Luckily, he’s too tired to keep hanging on to that gun. Considering there’s no way he would consciously try to have fun, Adelle and Topher are now trying to figure out how it’s actually being spread. Well, they were trying to figure out out anyway. Now they’re acting insane. The dolls are immune, but everybody else is susceptible.

As Echo (aka Alice) and Sam are trying to find a way into the lab, a professor recognizes her as Caroline. Sam tells her that the teacher just needs to be sedated.

There’s a reason Echo knows the way in. Caroline bribed someone for blueprints to find out how to sneak into the lab without going through the front door. With these memories, they’re able to sneak in. Sam goes first and makes a run past security. Dominic, however, stops Echo so that he can apologize to her for trying to kill her. Since he’s clearly in need of sedation, that allows Echo to get past security as well.

Sierra and Victor start glitching like Echo and Mellie, remembering their past. They’re not exempt from the drug. Rather, it goes through their manmade memories. It just takes longer and impacts them differently.

Echo and Sam have made their way to the lab. Sam finds the drug really fast, hidden in a vial of blood. Then he lunges at Echo.

Caroline and her boyfriend have made their way to the lab as well. It is a lot different. There are all sorts of animals in cages. Monkeys shouldn’t be treated like guinea pigs. Even guinea pigs shouldn’t be treated like guinea pigs. As they’re trying to get footage, the security guard busts them.

The reason Sam stole the drug is he wanted to be a billionaire. He hoped to sell it to Rossum’s competitor.

In their escape, Caroline dropped the camera and their evidence. Her boyfriend has been shot in the process as well, and she loses him outside the building.

A glitching Echo has managed to capture Sam in the same spot where her boyfriend died, and now that that’s over, she would like a treatment.

For a change, Dominic isn’t suggesting they send Echo to the attic. Perhaps he’s sorry about that whole trying to burn her alive misunderstanding.

Mellie just needs to get away. Ballard’s going to let her just make a clean break without asking where she’s going, but she does know where he is.

Adelle offers to solve Sam’s financial problems for 5 years. In exchange, he gets the same offer Echo got.

Lost Season 5 Episode 10

Having just arrived on the island in Lost Season 5 Episode 9, Kate, Jack, and Hurley agreed to play Sawyer’s game, at least for now. Sayid’s also on the island, and he meets up with little Ben.

Little Sayid’s brother is being instructed by his dad to kill a chicken. He doesn’t want to kill a chicken, though. Sayid, however, has no problem taking out the chicken.

Ben wants to feed the hostile, Sayid. Did Richard send him? He’s his leader, right? Ben ran away into the jungle before and found Richard. He’s been patient since then looking for a way out. If Sayid’s patient, too, maybe they can work together.

Another flashback of Sayid killing, this time a human. The man behind his murdering ways: Ben. That marks the last of Widmore’s men, so now they can part ways.

Horace goes into Sayid’s cell trying to find out what he was doing in the jungle. Either they’re in some kind of disagreement, which means he can help him, or he’s a spy. He’ll give him an hour to think about it.

Juliet fears that this whole playing house bit they’ve got going on is over now.

Worried that the prisoner won’t talk, Horace wants to have Oldham do his thing. Sawyer volunteers to talk to him instead. By talk, he apparently means hit him and pretend he’s confessed. If he doesn’t cooperate, he’s on his own. So he’s on his own then.

Kate thinks she can get something out of Juliet even though Sawyer’s not talking, but Hurley has this crazy idea that they’re together. Who couldn’t see that coming?

Ben brings another sandwich to Sayid. This angers the janitor, which is apparently a big deal.

Back to flashback Sayid, Ben’s come to meet up with him to tell him that John Locke is dead. He’s a killer, although he says he doesn’t like it.

Since Sayid’s still not talking, he’ll be going to Oldham now. Who’s that man? “He’s our you.”

Now it’s a flashback we’ve all seen. Kate calls everybody crazy, and Sayid flees the scene, though Sun wants to go with Ben to meet Eloise. Sayid’s fled to a bar, where he meets a girl who likes sad men. This oughta be a real hoot then. He hopes to change his ways, rather than continuing his killing.

Sayid is answering Oldham’s questions, and he’s been given some truth serum. He tells them his real name, the fact that he’s not a hostile, and that he got there via plane. Having been there for 100 days already, he knows about all the stations, including the unbuilt one. Oh, and they’re all going to die. He knows this because he is from the future. They fear that they’ve driven this man insane. Nonetheless, he pretty much needs to be killed. By a unanimous vote, the tribe has spoken.

The girl at the bar actually is a professional, hired to bring him to Guam. The family of the guy he killed on the golf course wants him dead.

Sawyer offers to let Sayid punch him and steal his keys. Sayid would be fine with Radzinsky’s idea of dying, though, so he’ll just stay put rather than trying to escape. He didn’t see the purpose of being on the island before now.

As Sawyer’s asking Kate why they came back, a flaming VW bus makes its way toward the houses, setting off a quickly spreading blaze. Three years with no burning buses, now this after just one day.

Ben will let Sayid out if he takes him with him. Yes, he will. That’s why he’s here.

The woman holding Sayid hostage doesn’t want to let him go. They’re taking that plane (that’s going to crash) whether he likes it or not. Is she working for that monster Ben?

Sayid brings Ben through the woods as agreed. Jin spots them, and Sayid pretends Sawyer let him out. Since Jin has to clear this with Sawyer before letting them go, he’ll have to be knocked out. He tells little Ben he was right about him. He is a killer. So he shoots Ben. Didn’t see that one coming.

Reaper Season 2 Episode 4

Sam won $1,000 in the lottery, which Ben believes is his since he bought the ticket. After Sam gets the cash, the Devil takes his money. As if you could win the lotto without the Devil being involved. The Devil wants to use the cash to go bail out Morgan, who accidentally stole a limo. Morgan’s his son, making them half brothers.

Andi finds the Devil having a son pretty scary. That does not bode well for Sam.

Despite that whole being fired thing, Ted is still hanging around at The Work Bench.

Nina, Ben’s new girlfriend, is not overly into their sex life, and she doesn’t want to talk about it.

The Devil tells Sam that he’ll always like Morgan better than he likes him. But there’s something missing. Maybe Morgan just doesn’t want to help him rule the netherworld. Then they see a dead body killed by Edmond Fitzgerald, his latest soul, who ate his gold on his deathbed.

Sock’s assisting a woman at work, but he doesn’t feel like helping her any more, so he subcontracts Ted to do it for her in exchange for splitting her tip. Now he goes to beg Andi for extra shifts. The work will be better than done. It’ll be good.

While Ben and Nina are out, she sees an ex-boyfriend. Their relationship was entirely physical. Rather than talking about it, though, she would prefer to stuff her face with as much food as she can get her hands on.

The Devil shows up in Sam’s bathroom to give him a vessel and ask a small favor (aka give him a demand that he can’t refuse). They have to get their hands on a painting before the soul does. There’s a burglar alarm sticker on the window, so obviously there’s a burglar alarm. What if it’s just a sticker? Neither Ben nor his friends are exactly useful in this scenario, but Morgan seems to know something about breaking or entering. Just not breaking and entering well. He throws something through the window and drives away, leaving the others behind to steal the painting while the cops are probably about three minutes away.

Sock plans to unpack all the sprinklers and restock the paint. So he says. His new subcontracting plan is genius. At least it is until he gets busted.

Ben pays a visit to Gladys at the DMV. He wants to discuss demon sex with her. Her response is that humans and demons can get it on all the time, and she can help him learn how to please a demon if he drops by her place later.

The soul has managed to find the boys, and he sends his jewelry to attack them. They hide in the bath tub, which works until Kristen finds them. When they’re done being chickens, they see that the painting is gone.

Andi asks: what’s the soul doing with all these things he’s stealing? He must have like a warehouse or something. Now that she’s solved that mystery, she sees Ted working. He has to leave, but before he can do that, she’ll have to talk to his boss. That means waking up Sock from his nap. He’s already been fired. Should have stuck the first time. Except Ted has nothing else in his life.

Fitzgerald owns an old shipyard, which has been condemned for years, so that’s probably where he’s storing everything. The Devil told Morgan exactly where to look. If only he’d actually help Sam with anything. They find a list that suggests they need to find Maryann.

Morgan got Maryann’s address from his dad, and Andi’s decided that Morgan is not that bad after all.

Ben’s got a good plan: he’s going to do it with his girlfriend in her demon form, mannish voice and all.

Maryann tells Sam to forget about getting his hands on the estate. He’s got a message for her: Edmond’s back from the dead and may try to kidnap her. But he only loved things, and the Maryann in question is actually his boat, which sunk to the bottom of the ocean. Then she notices that Morgan is wearing Edmond’s ring, which Sam thinks will lead him right to them. This somehow leads to a discussion about how Morgan’s evil, while Sam’s good. When they see the gold bugs inside the vents, they’ll probably have to run now. Morgan could give him the ring, but it’s stuck. It comes off after he jumps in the pool, so he tosses it to Sam, who agrees to give it back to its rightful owner. Then he shoves him up against the vessel and sends him back to hell.

Tired of running away and shoveling food in her mouth, Nina decides to tell Ben the truth. She used to be married to a human, which angered God, who smote the guy she loved, so she doesn’t want that to happen again.

Andi has made her decision. Ted can’t continue to take Sock’s shifts. However, the home office has approved her request to hire Ted back on a six month trial basis as a trainee. The new trainee needs a trainer. That would be Sock. They’ll be a team, joined at the hip, for six months.

The Devil gives Morgan all the credit for capturing the soul, then he gives all the gold coins to Morgan, too. He’s so conflicted. He doesn’t know who to root for now. Sam suggests rooting for Morgan.

When Sam gets home, he sees his father, who may possibly be dead.

Heroes Season 3 Episode 20

Hiro and Ando went looking for Parkman in Heroes Season 3 Episode 19. When they found him, he was about 30 years younger than they’d expected.

Danko hears his security system go off. He’s got a gift hanging when he goes to see what’s going on: Eric the puppetmaster.

The irony of sacrificing her relationship to her sons in order to save her sons isn’t lost on Angela, though she believes Peter won’t forgive her. She suggests to HRG giving Rebel to Danko to earn his trust.

Danko brings Suresh to the room where they’re holding Daphne and the others. Easier to bring him there under his own free will and stab him there than to carry him.

Eric is also among the victims in Danko’s creepy room. HRG visits him and asks how he’d like to see Rebel lying there as well. He wants to use Tracy as bait to capture Rebel.

Hiro tells Parkman to not worry: they’ll make him big again. Maybe it’s Matt Parkman’s baby. Maybe it’s another Matt Parkman. Maybe it’s really the right guy. Whoever it is, he does have a power.

Angela Petrelli has a dream that her driver is pulled out of her car by some guys. Since she realizes this is a premonition, she runs out of the car when they stop.

Tracy busts out and starts to wake up the others. First Suresh, then Parkman. Parkman insists on waking up Daphne, whether she’ll slow them down or not. Since they’ve got the mind control guy, they will just walk out the front door.

HRG tells Tracy she should have stuck with Matt Parkman instead of going shopping. Who is Rebel? If she leads him to Rebel, he’ll let her go. If she runs and/or kills HRG instead, she’s dead.

Parkman and Suresh bring Daphne to the hospital, where Parkman’s able to convince them not to report this gunshot wound to the police.

Hiro plans to kidnap the baby, except it’s not kidnapping if they leave his mom a note. Before they can do anything, she returns home.

Tracy is provided with cash, ID, and a boarding pass. Micah will be following her.

Hiro and Ando explain that the baby is in danger. It started during the eclipse. The mother says Parkman is not a hero… he’s a terrorist. They warn her that heroes are being rounded up. Then there’s a knock on the door. They’ve got a warrant to bring her and her child in. The baby’s never met his father, and he can’t talk either. She pretends the kid’s at the babysitter’s, but they don’t buy it and want the house searched. It’s a good thing Ando’s got a cool new offensive power, and Hiro seems to have his time freezing ability back thanks to toddler touch and go. Too bad he can’t teleport, too. He’ll have to put Ando in a wheelbarrow and walk past the men with the guns.

Daphne’s awake now. She doesn’t believe they’re meant to be together, even if Matt does. It was nice meeting him, though. She doesn’t plan to slow down long enough for anyone to catch her, not even him.

Micah meets up with Tracy. He’s Rebel. If only she knew it were him, maybe she wouldn’t have set him up.

Just as a group of armed men think they’ve captured Angela, Peter shows up to fly her away.

Tracy tells Micah she’s not the person she used to be, but now he thinks she’s just a politician. Whose side is she on? Micah sets off the fire sprinklers as she instructs. She tells him to keep doing what he’s doing and to stay ahead of the ice. The men surrounding her will not be so lucky, but then again, Tracy will not be either, as Danko shoots her frozen body.

Hiro has restarted time. Now that they’ve saved little Matt Parkman, they have to save big Matt Parkman, too.

Parkman seems to have picked up a new flying power, which allows him to catch up with Daphne. Only this is not real. She knows they’re still in the hospital, and he’s just in her head trying to give her a story book ending. That he does, and she’s gone.

Dollhouse Episode 6

Echo was turned into a blind woman and sent to dissolve a fanatical religious cult in Dollhouse Season 1 Episode 5.

According to the news, stories of an FBI task force investigating the Dollhouse have been flatly denied. Yet Agent Ballard doesn’t seem to have gotten the message that his task does not exist.

Victor is wondering why Sierra is sitting alone. So he goes up and touches her on the shoulder, and she responds by screaming in terror. After this, Dr. Saunders finds out Sierra’s had sex since she’s been there. They’ll have to send Victor to the attic if he’s been playing doctor when not imprinted with an MD. Echo says that Sierra cries when they go into the pods.

Ballard suspects Joel Mynor, a doctom billionaire, as a potential Dollhouse client. Agent Loomis agrees to help him out, but she warns him that if the director finds out, he’s going to want him out. One more step closer to bringing… her in.

When he goes to bust Mynor, he gets his first up close and personal glimpse of Echo, who’s posing as his wife Rebecca Mynor. One of the security guys tasers Ballard, but they might want to try something better next time because he gets up fighting as usual. While Ballard’s taking out half a dozen men, Boyd arrives to drag off Echo. Mynor thinks Ballard must be in love with Echo. He’s not exactly afraid of Ballard since he won’t arrest him and probably won’t kill him. He could probably make him suffer, though. Rebecca really was Joel’s wife. Now that she’s dead, he’s hiring zombies to pretend to be her. Their discussion ends when they hear the sirens coming, since Ballard knows he’s the one they’ll cuff.

Boyd recommends isolating Victor and his handler. Victor knows he did something bad. If only someone would tell him what.

Following his conversation with Mynor about how he’s living in a fantasy world, Ballard finally decides to make a move on his neighbor when he gets home.

Now that he’s pretended to take out Victor, Boyd catches Hearn, the person actually responsible for Sierra’s troubles, in the act.

In addition to the trouble with the handler and Sierra, they’re also aware that there’s an FBI agent on their tail, spilling his guts to the nearest civilian.

Echo’s been engaged, but Boyd needs some chill time since he put another handler through a plate glass window, so he’s not on the case.

They are in the business of using people. So the question is: what use is someone like Hearn to them? Mellie, Ballard’s neighbor, needs to be killed because she knows too much. Since he’s sleeping with her now, Ballard might not take too kindly to that.

When Ballard goes out to get some take out food, he sees Echo, who’s waiting for him and ready to kick his ass. After she practices the skills that made her a good vampire hunter on him, she tells him what he already knows: the Dollhouse is real. There are too many Dollhouses, and they are far too powerful for him to take them down. The person who sent her there wants to help, but he has to let them win this one first. A police officer sees them, Echo hands back Ballard’s gun, and makes him shoot the cop. They will protect the information. Ballard can stay alive, but anyone else is in danger.

As she’s getting strangled, Mellie gets a call from Adelle. Then she turns into superwoman and gains the upper hand. The newly deceased Hearn won’t be bothering anyone else for a while.

Following the shooting, Ballard has been suspended from the FBI.

As for Echo, she’s back to playing the role of Rebecca Mynor.
