Big Brother Update: Will Eliminated!!!

Mike Boggie holds the HOH power going into tonight episode.

The former houseguests that were recently booted out and enjoying the costal vista of the sequester house got kicked out of that house too and sent to the Jury house. Looks like the Sequester house was in the path of a tropical storm/potential hurricane, sucks to be them.

Marcells and Howie are screaming and yelling and bitching and whining and crying and hissing at eachother, as usual. Howie really is a friggin’ whiney moron.

Danielle joins the crew in the Jury House to everyone’s amazement and while chatting it up and drinking wine in the kitchen Chicken George sneaks in the back door. Jedi numb nuts Howie flys off the handle and goes batty on Chicken George, yelling and screaming at him, calling him a fat ass and various other infantile things. What an idiot. That was the first time I’ve seen chicken george some what mad, it was surprising, but totally justified.

Back to the Big Brother house we go.

Erika doesn’t trust chill town at all and has finally seemed to realized she is getting played big time and makes her move to end the crazyness.

Dr. Will and Janelle sleep in the same bed for the first time this season where Janelletells Dr. Will that she has a showmance with him. Fools.

Power of Veto Competition:

The houseguests have to dig through goo finding pictures of former houseguests and throwing them on a star shaped board next to questions related to those guests. There are lots of ways to put the pics on, but only one specific order is correct.

Guess who wins? Yup, Janelle wins the Power of Veto yet again! That girl rocks the competitions.

Janelle and Erika chat and Erika is quite obviously fighting for her life as she knows they’re all after her next. She makes a promise on her mothers name that she won’t take Mike Boogie to the final two, but will take Janelle instead. The girls chat and chat and discuss what Chill Town has told both of them and finally look to be ready to gang up on the boys. Yay! Finally.

Eviction Ceremony:

Janelle, naturally, pulls herself on the block and Mike Boogie is forced to utter words he had hoped never to have to utter, putting Dr. Will up on the block in her place.

Janelle casts her vote and bam! Dr Will Is ELIMINATED! Finally!

Final Head of Household Competition:

All 3 houseguests must stand on the side of a volcanoe holding onto a key as long as possible. Boogie does the dumbest thing possible and jumps off the volcanoe, saying the two girls can’t take eachother, one of them HAS to take him. Bold move buddy, that’s gonna bite you in the ass.

The kicker is, Janelle took her hand off the key when boogie jumped off to turn and watch him stomp off and she was eliminated. Erika is the winner of Part one of the elimination challenge and gets a buy through the second round. The second round will happen Thursday and will pit Janelle against Boogie.

Final Eviction is Thursday, Sept 7th, 2006. Then after that, it’s all down to the Big Brother All Stars Season Finale on Sept. 12th, 2006.

Stay Tuned…

Rock Star Supernova Song Selection

Tonight song selection episode was pretty neat and featured an all out food fight, pool party and Storm willing running around the pool and diving in topless, she didn’t even do it to get a certain song, just for the hell of it. Naturally, the guys loved it.

This episode also featured a song writing clinic hosted by the ony and only Gilby Clarke. All of the musicians listened to the music for a new Supernova song and were required to write their own lyrics to the song.

Gilby Clarke sat down with Magni, let him sing the lyrics and wasn’t impressed at all. He was very disappointed with Magni‘s effort and Magni didn’t even come up with a title for the song. Gilby dubed the song “Camoflauge”.

Lukas came into this thing fairly half assed, though the half of his ass that came into it was really good. He had only written the first verse and chorus, so he was missing the second verse and Gilby had to help him write it. Even though Gilby had to help him write the second verse, he really liked what Lukas had as a base.

Gilby loved Toby‘s version and said it he had a much needed “fresh, young approach” and that his song was the “most complete” so far. It was pretty good, I look forward to hearing it.

Dilana had another rough time with this one, she even admitted that she came into the show expecting to be a singer and not a writer and that her writing isn’t very strong. Gilby agreed whole heartedly and called what she had written “cliche” and “predictable”. Things have not been going good for Dilana over the last little while. I have to admit, I’m getting worried.

I flicked back to Rock Star Supernova just as Storm Large was finishing her session with Gilby, so I have no info on her. Sorry guys. 🙁

Supernova also makes the announcement that the singers will be doing a full set on tomorrow’s show and will have to come up with ways of entertaining the crowd between songs. They’ll be performing their usual song selections for sure, and may even each get a shot to perform their version of the Supernova song, I’m not entirely sure on that though. If that’s not the case, likely the best lyricist will get to perform their version with Supernova.

Song Selection:

  • Lukas will be singing “Living on a Prayer” by Bon Jovi.
  • Storm will be singing “(Not Fucking) Lady Like” by Storm Large (an original).
  • Dilana will be singing “Behind Blue Eyes” by The Who.

I unfortunately didn’t catch what Magni or Toby would be singing either, though I’m pretty sure it wasn’t mentioned. They were to busy trying to hype the fact that Lukas and Dilana were fighting over “Behind Blue Eyes” and Magni goating Lukas into taking the Bon Jovi song.

Stay tuned tomorrow for a recap of the regular show and to see who is eliminated from Rock Star Supernova next!

Big Brother Update

Big Brother All Stars Final 4:

  • Janelle
  • Erika
  • Mike Boogie
  • Dr. Will

Head of Household Competition:

Everyone gets dressed up in Referee’s outfits and takes to the backyard for the Big Brother bowl. The houseguests get grilled with questions asking them the specific date certain things happened in the Big Brother house. For every day they are off in their guess they must step back 1 yard on the football field.

After all is said and done Mike Boogie comes out the winner and Dr. Will pours gatorade/water all over him.

Shortly after the HOH competition ends a drunken jacuzzi party breaks out. Somehow the conversation revolves around Boogie and Erika having a baby and Dr. Will delivering the baby. The conversation also takes a turn for Dr Will and Janelle getting hitched in a cheesy Vegas wedding. Which also leads to Janelle and Will getting in a drunken fight and will calling Janelle “psycho”. Naturally Will gets nervous and starts to wonder if Janelle would put him up or not, but after some smooth talking, Will gets himself out of hot water yet again. Although Erika just happened to be listening to every word outside the door until Boogie came and gave her away.

Head of Household Nominations:

Boogie brings the HOH keys out to everyone and pulls out the only key in the holder, naturally, it’s Wills. As such, Erika and Janelle are both up for elimination this week. This could get very interesting, very quickly.

Donald Trump Fires Apprentice Co-Star Carolyn Kepcher

Wow! Captain hair-piece himself, Donald Trump, uttered those two immortal words once again today and told The Apprentice co-host Carolyn Kepcher “You’re Fired!”

Apparently the fame of being a part of the hit show The Apprentice went to her head and “she became a prima donna” and “was giving speeches for $25,000 and doing endorsements.”

Looks like The Donald doesn’t like to share his success and fame with anyone, not even the people that helped him make The Apprentice the smash hit it was. Hopefully Ivanka Trump doesn’t let it go to her head as she’s Carolyn Kepcher‘s replacement on the upcoming season of The Apprentice.

Best of luck to Carolyn on speech work, bork work and endorsements, she’s going to have to find another source of income now.

You’re Fired! Ha! Sorry, that’s just to much fun.

Big Brother All Stars – Double Elimination: Danielle and Chicken George Evicted

Tonights episode of Big Brother All Stars was pretty intense and was a special double elimination show.

Mike Boogie and Dr. Will have been playing Erika, Janelle and George big time, telling all of them, one after the other, that they were being made honorary members of Chill Town. Yeah right! I cannot BELIEVE how badly this house is getting played by Mike Boogie and Dr. Will, it’s ridiculous.

Mike Boogie and Dr. Will chatted it up with Danielle and told her she was safe and wasn’t going home, though they told almost everyone else exactly the same thing and have been doing so the entire show.

*insert 5 hours of commercials*

The votes are cast:

  • Janelle votes for Danielle
  • Boogie votes for Danielle
  • Will votes for Danielle

3 to 0, Danielle is the first to bite the dust. Good work girly, you played a good game and a smart game, you just got mowed by Chill Town.

*insert another 5 hours of commercials*

House of Household Competition:

Another boring step forward/step back male/female question and answer session, and, surprise of all surprises, Janelle wins the Head of Household and scores 8 out of 8 questions right, winning by default.

*insert YET ANOTHER 5 hours of commercials*

Household Nominations:

  • Chicken George
  • Erika

*believe it or not: insert YET ANOTHER 5 hours of commercials*

Power of Veto Competition:

Big long rope, 2 big knots, untie both knots, grab vito thingy, get it off the rope and hit the buzzer.

Erika and Will are neck and neck until the very end. Neck smashes the buzzer but, awwwww, so sad, he still had the veto symbol attached to the rope. Erika rips it off the rope, smacks the buzzer and Bam! Power ov Veto.

They announce yet another elimination will happen in mere minutes.

Back to the household we go. Erika, of course, pulls herself off the block and Janelle nominates Dr. Will.

*this time we get about 10 hours of commercials insted*

And back we come to the show, no one has had much time to chat but erika and janelle run back on to the screen, so they had a chat.

Votes are cast:

  • Erika votes for Chicken George
  • Will votes for Chicken George

Chicken George is the next person eliminated from Big Brother All Stars.

I’ll miss you georgy! You were my favorite houseguest, you might not have had a snowballs chance in hell in winning and it’s a miracle you got this far, but it was awesome watching you and I’ll miss your antics. Good work buddy!

P.S.

Hey CBS. The next time you guys pull a double elimination round. EASE UP ON THE DAMN COMMERICALS, my god! There is NO REASON AT ALL to take 3 minutes of comercials, come back for the nomination ceremony for about 1 min and then bump back to another 3 mins of commercials. You ass hats did this like 5 times, it’s absurd! There was more commercial time spent on this show then there was show time, total BS.

August 29th Big Brother Recap

Rock Star Supernova: Ryan Eliminated

Last night Viewers Coice Performance saw the most votes ever received for Rock Star Supernova. And for good reason, the competition has been heating up something fierce and everyone is really on their game now. It’s a hard competition to call and it keeps getting better.

Lukas gets picked to sing with Supernova and they sing their newest song “It’s On.”

It wasn’t to bad of a performance, though I still don’t see Lukas meshing with the rest of the Supernova guys. I love his voice and I think he’s got a lot of talent, but I just don’t see him fronting Supernova.

Toby scores the Encore performance and performs “Rebel Yell” by Billy Idol again. This time he runs around everywhere throughout the perfomance and manages to cover almost the entire studio, even the dark, unlit area in the back. The performance was great, as always, Toby is a killer showman and really know how to put on a crowd pleasing show. He did a much better job singing the song tonight as well. He sang it the way I expected him to last night.

On to the juicy stuff:

Original Bottom three:

  • Ryan
  • Storm
  • Lukas

Later Additions to the Bottom three:

  • Toby
  • Dilana

That’s right folks. Magni was the only one NOT to show up in the bottom three at any point during the voting. After seeing the bottom three a few times over the past few shows, not being in the bottom three for Magni was huge! Finally people seem to recognize his talent, as they should after he rocked out “I Alone” by Live as well as he did. Good work Magni!

After all is said and done, the final tally is taken.

Final Bottom three:

  • Ryan
  • Storm
  • Dilana

Ryan sings “Baba Oreilly” by The Who. One word for this one, CRAP! I love this song and Ryan‘s version was brutal, he slaughtered this song.

Storm sings “Helter Skelter” by The Beattles. Gilby loves it and rocks out singing along with her performance. Storm jumps up on the Supernova section of the stage and rocks it out infront of them for the entire song, singing from Tommy Lee‘s lap at one point and she ends it all by falling backwards into the crowd. Not a bad performance, but certainly not my favorite version of Helter Skelter.

Dilana sang “Psycho Killer” by Talking Heads. Very interesting song choice, and a poor one on Dilana‘s part. It’s just weird in general and she doesn’t seem to really be pulling it together anywhere. This was Dilana’s worst performance yet, in my eyes.

Now we’re forced to sit through the usual 5 minutes of commercials before coming back to the show and getting the final verdict. Supernova confer together for quite a while over this one and talk up Ryan, saying he’s the only one to have evolved so much in the show. Then the Tommy-Hawk falls:

Ryan is eliminated from Rock Star Supernova.

August 29th Rock Star Supernova Performance Recap

Rock Star Supernova Winner Leaked

It has been floating around all over the net today that the winner of Rock Star Supernova is Lukas. Though how much truth their is to this rumor is unknown.

Given, Lukas is pretty damn good, can rock it out, change it up and is a likely candidate to win, I just don’t think he’s going to manage it. I just can’t see him fronting a band like Supernova. I love his voice, his style and him in general, but he just doesn’t fit with the band and I can’t see them being or becoming all that great with Lukas as a front man.

What do you think?

Rock Star Supernova Update

The show starts out recaping the Monday, August 28th Rock Star Supernova show.

And then the rockers take to the stage, one by one, to sing songs picked for them by Rock Star Supernova MSN votes in a Viewer’s Song Choice Show.

Performances:

Lukas sang “Lithium” by Nirvana. It was a slightly different arrangement then usual, but Jason Newsted was loving it from the get go. Both Dave Navarro and Tommy Lee loved it and thought Lukas rocked it out. Gilby Clarke said it was his “best performance yet”, while Jason added “Dynamite! Freakin’ Dynamite!”

My Thoughts: All in all it was pretty good. Considering he doesn’t even like the song, I was thinking he would blow it utterly, but he did fairly well. Interesting tid bit, it’s apparently be floating around the net today that Lukas is the winner of the show. Interesting, No?

Magni sang “I Alone” by Live and Tommy Lee is digging it right off the bat, busting out the air drums and rocking out. Magni made his way into and through the crowd and emerged beside the members of Supernova after being mauled by lusty female fans. Dave Navarro said “killer dude, awesome job!” and Gilby Clarke loved it, saying it had that “extra something” special that his performances have been missing. Jason Newsted even gave him a standing o.

My Thoughts: He absolutely rocked it! I loved this performance. This is a fantastic song and he did the perfect job, great performance too. Good work Magni.

Ryan sings “Clocks” by Coldplay and cleverly, or weakly, depends on how you look at it, avoided all of the high notes and high register vocals, which is basically the entire song. Dave said it was “killer dude”, Jason said he’s more suited for behind the pain than being a frontman and Gilby said it was a great performance.

My Thoughts: Two words for this one… Utter Crap! This was a terrible performance and Ryan avoided most of the difficult parts of the song and even managed to do a crap job of the parts he actually sang – brutal.
