Kyle XY Season 3 Episode 8

Kyle uncovered a secret about Cassidy in Kyle XY Season 3 Episode 7. It seems that Cassidy is responsible for, or at least involved in, Sarah’s disappearance.

With their matching mood necklaces, Kyle and Jessi fall asleep together, and they look quite comfortable for two people who don’t even have feelings for each other.

When Kyle wakes up, Jessi’s doing some research by tapping into the rental car company’s records. The car was returned the day after Sarah supposedly left town. Kyle plays along that they’ll find her.

Josh wants to bring home a stray. Perhaps his dad will be dumb enough to let his teenage girlfriend move in with them.

Jessi is struggling with a headache, or something.

Lori’s going stir crazy, enough so that she jumps at the chance to go to The Rack with Declan.

Kyle causes a light to blow up to create a distraction for Jessi. She hopes to steal Sarah’s ring back, but she’s too sick to do so. Kyle believes she’s pretending until she faints.

Lori is busy boring Declan because she and Hilary refuse to be in the same room as each other. It’s a trap. Declan’s locking them in the room together until they learn to play nice.

Jessi is learning how to recall her holographic memories. Perhaps if she gets in his tub, she’ll be able to relax enough. She goes back to the day she found out that Sarah was gone. That was also the night she met Cassidy. Since he’d also met Kyle at Latnok, he must have been in a hurry to get back to beat her there. In his basket of laundry, she sees blood. That’s about all she can take since she’s burning up. Kyle believes the illness is psychosomatic.

Declan wants the girls to have a food fight… and spray each other with whipped cream.

Then a fourth wheel shows up, Declan’s new friend Jackie. Someone for both of them to hate equally.

If Jessi lets him, Kyle can access her memories.

Lori and Hilary aren’t being watched closely enough, which allows them to climb out the top of the room they’re in, right into a dumpster.

Kyle is able to access Jessi’s memories, but all he can see is the happy thoughts she’s thinking (all about him). He goes back to earlier when they were in bed together, and he’ll let her guide him through her memories. She takes him back to her and Cassidy in the hallway.

Now it’s Declan’s turn to be locked in a room by a couple of girls who could use a bath. They want to have a little chat with Jackie.

Josh is popping quarters into a machine until he pulls out a ring. Then he proposes to Andy. Her response involves the words idiot, asinine, and crazy.

Amanda sees the Latnok symbol on Nate, who now knows that Adam is Kyle’s father.

By adjusting their vision, Kyle and Jessi are able to see things in an ultraviolet light, like in a crime scene. She sees more blood, a lot more blood. With that, Jessi starts screaming. Kyle wants to figure things out another way, but Jessi pulls him back in. They have to break into apartment 505, but Kyle stops her. Then they hear a heartbeat, which is slower than it should be. It’s a memory, so they can’t change it, and they have to just listen to Sarah die.

Declan gets a kiss after Hilary and Lori are done with their interrogation. He can see the little blonde bimbo, but they will crush her if she hurts him.

It’s a good thing Declan left behind his food fight supplies so that Andy and Josh can work out some of their frustration. Still, Josh doesn’t know what he’s going to do to fix things.

Kyle has found Sarah’s disposable cell phone data. All her pictures were of Jessi.

Andy shows up to see Josh, but all she can do now is hold him.

Having bonded by going into Jessi’s mind, Kyle finally decides to kiss her.

When he checks his safe, Cassidy sees that Sarah’s ring is missing. He asks Nate, who tells him that Jessi was in his office earlier. Of course, Nate’s really the one with the ring.

High School Musical 4 in 2010 on Disney Channel

To the surprise of nobody, High School Musical will be getting another installment. THR reports that HSM4 will be making its return to Disney Channel, in line with the first two films of the franchise.

Apparently, the $250 million High School Musical 3: Senior Year grossed on the big screen was not enough to make up for the decline in soundtrack sales (not to mention posters, sleeping bags, and Zac Efron action figures).

The original High School Musical premiered in January 2006 and has since been seen by 290 million viewers. High School Musical 2 premiered in 2007 to 18.6 million viewers, making it the highest ranked basic cable telecast of all time, with total viewership now at about 300 million.

Peter Baroscchini, writer of the first three movies, will return, as will executive producers Bill Borden and Bary Rosenbush.

Heroes Season 3 Episode 18

HRG continued to walk the line between the two sides in Heroes Season 3 Episode 17.

Claire’s still hiding Alex in her closet. There’s a train leaving to Albuquerque, where he can start over. He’d rather stick around to be with his family and friends because they’ll find him anyway. After her mother comes in to grill her about the missing $300, Alex can come out of hiding since he’s now been discovered.

Peter and Parkman are now priority 1. Danko has authorized any means necessary, including lethal force, to take them down.

Speaking of Parkman, he’s still painting creepy pictures of the future. Peter wants to run, but Parkman just wants to find Daphne. He’s got a lead from when he was in Noah’s head: they need to find a hallway. The computer pops in with some actual information, an address to Daphne from Rebel, who says they’re coming. Just in time, they flee the scene. Given the paintings, there’s a good guess where they’re headed, though.

Claire introduces Alex as her new boyfriend. She tries to claim they’re intimately involved, but since she’s jailbait, this doesn’t fly. So she tells the truth. Would have been better off with the lying.

Luke and Sylar are still on their way to Sylar’s father. They have managed to escape the agents for now. While Luke’s trying to talk Sylar out of his need to see his father, Sylar all of a sudden stops at Big Jim’s Franks & Fries, for no apparent reason.

Sandra knows that there’s a van parked right outside watching Claire. She wants to help come up with a plan, and Alex is open to this.

Since Matt can only control so many minds, Peter borrows his ability. This means that they can control more minds, but it rules out the rooftop escape plan since he can no longer fly. They’re able to mind control enough people to gain access to a computer, but since that room is being monitored, it tips off Danko and the others exactly where they are. HRG tells Danko to not go out there, but he doesn’t listen, so his guys draw their guns on him.

In order to make a fake ID, Sandra grabs Lyle’s driver’s license because he got a C- on his history exam. Sometimes Claire just wishes she was normal to make things easier, but her mom doesn’t blame her for her problems with her father, whether they get a divorce or not.

Sylar and Luke go inside the abandoned building, where Sylar says he’s been before with his father back in 1980. He’s positive he can remember his father, and as proof, he’s found the toy car that he had that day from his memory.

Alex was hoping to get a kiss, but Claire’s mom interrupts just in time to stop them. There’s a compartment in the basement that he can hide in. The agents barge in the house, but they’re unable to find anything.

Daphne has been transferred to a medical facility. Rebel’s back, and he shows them a tape of the operation. Peter makes a copy of the footage as a bargaining chip.

HRG triggers the fire alarm in order to disrupt Parkman’s train of thought. It works, and they’ll have to run. Just in time, too, as Rebel warns them they have 30 seconds. They’re captured in the hallway. Parkman insists on holding them while Peter escapes.

Sylar recalls more of what happened, when he saw his dad kill someone, leaving her on the side of the road with a gash in her forehead. Mommy?

Nathan asks his mother whether she’s helping Peter, and whether she’s Rebel. She denies that she’s doing any of it. Then he gets a call from Peter. He wants a trade: Parkman and Daphne in exchange for the stolen files. Not the best deal.

Sandra causes a distraction, while Claire and Alex slip out the back. It buys them some time, but not much. When they get to the bottom of the hill, it’s a good thing he can hold his breath underwater. This also gives him the excuse he needed to kiss Claire, who is struggling to breathe underwater.

Danko’s not making the deal. He has another plan. He’s following orders, just not Nathan’s. Because he considers Peter a terrorist, he refuses to make a deal with him.

HRG goes with them and lets Peter read his thoughts that this is a double cross and that he needs to get lost. Danko’s shot strikes Peter, who falls but flies away. Obviously, Nathan’s involved, since he would have needed him to be able to fly away. Nathan agrees to take care of Peter if he just comes with him, but all the help he needs is a hug, which allows him to get the flying ability back. Angela warns Nathan that the game has changed, and he needs to be ready.

The footage has been leaked to the media as promised.

Sylar will let Luke live, so he can go back home to his mother and suffer. Now that he’s seen the truth, Sylar wants his father dead.

Danko drugs Parkman and drops him from the van wearing a bomb. He hopes people will beg him to hunt them.

Claire has learned that she wouldn’t trade her life for anything. Then she goes downstairs to see the creepy puppetmaster guy, who got a message from Rebel that Claire will save him.

The Bachelor 13 Episode 10

Now that we know who The Bachelor 13 winner is, it’s time to find out what happened after the final rose.

Chris opens the show in an eerie fashion. Out of respect for the parties involved, they will have an intimate gathering for the final show of the season.

Since this all ended, Jason has decided Melissa’s not right for him, and that the chemistry is just not the same. Fastest break up ever.

It doesn’t end there, though. Jason can’t stop thinking about Molly.

Jason is now ready to break up with Melissa. He feels like things are different, and she is not the right person to spend the rest of his life with. She doesn’t believe him and thought things were perfect. Instead of talking to her, he’s just calling it quits the second he starts having doubts. She wants him to be honest about what changed. He doesn’t have an answer what’s changed, except that he does still have feelings for Molly. She still doesn’t get it. I don’t get it either, but this is a reality TV show, so perhaps it should be expected. She wishes he would have just let her go that last day instead of stringing her along for a few months and then changing his mind. She hands back the ring.

Jason hates himself for what he’s doing to Melissa. She hates him, too. Nonetheless, he’s sure that’s the decision he’s going to make. She wants him out of her life and to just leave her alone. Is he now a bigger dirtbag than Brad Womack ever was? She says that she’s not angry, just hurt, but there’s someone else out there for her. She will just accept this as a learning experience and try to figure it out one day.

Now, Jason hopes that Molly will forgive him for breaking her heart, and all he’s hoping for is a chance, as they allegedly have not talked since the final rose.

First, Molly will give her side of the story. The week after he dumped her was the worst week of her life. There are still feelings there, and she will never deny that she feels he’s incredible. She’s still in love with him and hoping for closure. Every night, she wonders whether he’s changed his mind. She’s sounding like she’ll jump at the chance to get back with him.

Jason returns to continue his earlier discussion. Molly’s biggest question is when he knew he was not going to choose her. It’s unclear from his answer when he decided. With that said, maybe it’s time to break the news that he dumped Melissa. He wants to go out for coffee with Molly. Her response: what about Melissa? After some more explanation from Jason, Molly is still speechless.

Molly is confused, but she still has feelings for him. She’s willing to see where things go, and she’s happy this has happened. At least he didn’t propose to her. That would have just been ridiculous.

ABC, please don’t bring this guy back like you keep bringing DeAnna back.

Despite the continued trainwreck of relationships on this show, it continues to get more popular, and we can expect it back for The Bachelor 14. We can also probably expect either Melissa or Jillian back as The Bachelorette.

This season isn’t over yet, though. There’s a special episode on tomorrow night.

Stay tuned to dingoRUE for another live recap of The Bachelor 13 Episode 11, which airs Tuesday at 10/9c on ABC.

The Bachelor 13 Winner

The Bachelor 11 Winner
The Bachelor 12 Winner
The Bachelorette 4 Winner

Jason picked his final two in The Bachelor 13 Episode 7. Now, he must choose between Melissa Rycroft and Molly Malaney, one of whom will be The Bachelor 13 winner. The producers are hyping up the Most. Shocking. Finale. Ever. Then again, they do that every year.

Melissa is up first and will be meeting Ty. She hits it off with him on the golf course. Jason leaves them alone for a while as he goes to bring a lamb down to see them, and they get along pretty naturally while he’s gone. Once play time is over, it’s time to go meet the rest of the family, which based on the previews is overprotective (but not so overprotective that they prevent him from going on a game show to meet a wife twice). She will be meeting his mom, dad, both brothers, and sister-in-law. Melissa is willing to move to Seattle because of who’s there. She knows she’s in love with him. The fact that Jason hasn’t met her parents comes up. Again. Ty comes back later and is looking for Melissa so she can play with him. Jason’s father is impressed by Melissa, and his mother thinks she really loves him.

Molly gets the second home date. Jason was not in love with either of these women before this because he needs to see them with Ty. Yet he took them to the final two. Unlike yesterday, Ty’s uninterested in meeting someone new, but he slowly warms up once they start playing. Now it’s Molly’s turn to meet the family. Like Melissa, Molly is in love with Jason. She’s over the crazy party phase, apparently, and is looking to settle down. Jason thinks that he’s probably more different from Molly than he is from Melissa, though he doesn’t necessarily have doubts about either of them. Just a question of which road suits him best. Molly is not worried about moving either. His family likes both girls and doesn’t appear to be a great deal of help in his decision.

Since it keeps coming up over and over and over again, Melissa decides to try one more time. She calls her mom to tell her what’s going on, hoping that at least she’ll agree to talk to Jason on the phone.

He takes her off on a boat for a three hour tour. The weather starts getting rough, but they’re still having fun. That night, unable to wait to tell him, she lets him know right away that her parents want to talk to him on the phone. She’s still hoping he will tell her he loves her, but she will have to settle for an “I’ve never felt this way either.”

Molly gets the next very rainy date. She just wants to head home and get him to strip down so she can give him a massage, then she cooks dinner for him. Molly wants to stress how she feels because she felt like she may have been the one going home last time instead of Jillian, and she doesn’t want to risk that she hasn’t done everything she can. She’s also created a fairy tale book with little things she’s kept throughout the process. Like Melissa, Molly is only able to get an “I’m falling for you.”

As previously arranged, Jason now has the chance to speak to Melissa’s family on the phone. Very little of the conversation is actually shown, but Jason says that it was a good conversation that was the last piece of the puzzle he needed before making a decision.

DeAnna shows up to visit Jason, but it seems to me she’s just there to see him, rather than trying to win him back. The producers just wanted to give us something to talk about by inviting her back. This is lame. This is like something we would see on Big Brother.

Jason compares his situation to DeAnna’s. She went with the fun guy, rather than the more stable relationship guy. Jason has a choice between Melissa, who is what he was looking for, as compared with Molly, who is a lot of fun.

DeAnna acknowledges she made the wrong decision, and she advises him to really go deeper and lead his heart (whatever that means) before he makes his decision.

Molly is the first to get out of the limo. She has enjoyed the journey and wouldn’t give back a minute of it. Jason tells her he gets lost in her eyes, and she’s amazing in every way possible. He doesn’t know how he could ever let her go. But he has to because he’s in love with somebody else. She doesn’t understand and thinks he’s made a big mistake. After walking her back to the limo, he tells her that everything was real. She doesn’t get why he isn’t being smarter about this since he’s already been hurt twice.

Melissa is up next, and it looks like the early spoilers that suggested the producers spoiled the ending on the first episode were correct. Jason came into this looking for someone exactly like her, and now he’s finally able to tell her he’s in love with her. Then it’s time for his proposal. After she turns around and screams for a bit, she accepts.

Update: this happy ending may not be so happy after all. Check out The Bachelor 13 Episode 10.

Stay tuned to dingoRUE for another live recap of The Bachelor 13 Episode 10, which airs next on ABC.

The Celebrity Apprentice 2 Episode 1

Last year, The Apprentice, which had been flailing about for a couple seasons due largely to stupid decisions by Trump and the producers, got the shot in the arm it needed with a celebrity edition. Piers Morgan dominated the season, and despite some whining from Stephen Baldwin and has been (or never was) Omarosa, Piers was The Celebrity Apprentice winner.

Now, a new cast of 16 celebrities is ready to fight to help boost Trump’s ego.

Men’s team: Andrew Dice Clay, Brian McKnight, Clint Black, Dennis Rodman, Herschel Walker, Jesse James, Scott Hamilton, Tom Green
Women’s team: Annie Duke, Brande Roderick, Claudia Jordan, Joan Rivers, Khloe Kardashian, Melissa Rivers, Natalie Gulbis, Tionne Watkins

Joan Rivers agrees to be the first project manager for the women. Annie suggests the name Phoenix, since the women last year crashed and burned. Then she suggests the name Athena. They like this one better and go for it. Trump really likes the name.

Dice is complaining about the lack of bagels Trump has provided. The men are getting nowhere with their team name, so Herschel Walker steps up to say they need a leader. Scott Hamilton says that maybe it’s Herschel. He gets a second to this idea, so it passes, even though Dennis Rodman doesn’t understand why. Herschel says he’s a businessman, too, not just a football player. He agrees with the previously suggested Kotu (kings of the universe). Most of the men don’t like this name.

The teams will create, bake, and sell cupcakes in a mobile sales center.

At the first boardroom meeting when they’re getting their assignment, Dice complains to Trump. He wants some bagels.

The men start off first with location. They want to be wherever Dice’s biggest fan group is. According to him, he’s the biggest stand up comic in history (a century ago he was big anyway). Their plan is to go to Times Square.

Joan insists that they go to Penn Station, but Annie Duke remembers that this location did not work last year. The rest of the women just want her to shut up. Brande Roderick steps in with a better idea that makes this a moot point. The whole Playboy building will all go down to see them if they go to 57th & 5th. Annie makes a call to secure some money, but the rest of the women on the team don’t like this (winning) strategy.

Jesse James plans to amp up the men’s truck so that it stands out.

Tom Green calls Donny Deutsch to get him to send someone down with some cash.

Jesse does a lot with Photoshop for his business, so he’ll be doing the photos for the marketing. He will be working with Brian McKnight on that part of it, though Brian intends to just do as he’s told and stay out of the mix.

Both teams will be doing simple cupcakes with two varieties, vanilla and chocolate.

The women split into two groups. Brande, Joan, Claudia, and Melissa work on the truck and marketing, while Annie, Khloe, Natalie, and Tionne stay behind to work on the cupcakes.

Joan wants to create a circus and believes in overkill.

With her mother in charge, Melissa’s taking the opportunity to take charge of the task as well.

Dice doesn’t believe he’s a baker and doesn’t want to be a baker. Instead, he will go to Sirius Radio to do a couple shows. He’s not doing anything anyway, so he can go ahead and leave. He’s going to be taking Dennis with him. On the ride to the radio station, Dice admits he has no interest in making cupcakes.

Annie is the lead baker on the vanilla side. The cupcakes look pretty. The chocolate cupcakes, however, don’t rise like the others. Natalie, who was in charge of those, doesn’t know why. The chef who’s overseeing them doesn’t know why either. Could be baking powder instead of baking soda, or perhaps the wrong flour. To recover from this, Annie will make another batch of vanilla. They call the other half of the team to beg for help.

Clint tastes his team’s cupcakes. They’re terrible. They forgot to put the sugar in. This falls on Herschel, who was responsible for the mixing. Their overseer says they don’t have time to make another batch, but should try to put syrup on them and hope they absorb it to become sweeter.

The women’s chocolate cupcakes may not look good, but they taste fine, so if they cover them up, maybe nobody will notice.

Claudia is getting tired of listening to Annie talk. Natalie’s not happy with it either. Joan appreciates Annie’s input, but doesn’t like that she’s a fascist dictator.

The women see the guy’s truck and are impressed and afraid. The sad thing is that it only took two guys to do this, too.

The men set a price of $20 for their cupcakes. The women are willing to give them away for as little as $1.

Tom Green has gotten Tony Hawk to come down and draw in some traffic.

The partially clothed cowboy has also come down to sing a song.

The girls get a girl in a bunny costume, along with about 100 people from the Playboy building. Joan Rivers calls Brande a very smart woman lost in a gorgeous face and body.

Rodman is sitting in the driver’s seat of the truck for most of the day. He says it’s because he didn’t want to be a distraction. People can see him after they buy a cupcake.

Eric Benet comes down to visit Claudia. Kathy Lee Gifford comes down for Khloe.

Annie gets a visit from some fellow poker players, who are handing over thousands.

Trump phones Herschel and Joan to ask for a member of their team to take their best cupcake to Crumbs Bakeshop on 8th St. Whichever the owner likes best will receive an additional $15,000.

Melissa chooses one of the bombs, one of the inverted cupcakes that tasted good and then were filled with ganache because they didn’t look very good. Since he’s probably still not doing anything, Dice goes for the men.

When she gets back, Melissa is asked if she gave them the vanilla with the chocolate chips that the chef said that people were most likely to like. She was unaware of that discussion, and she also didn’t bother to get feedback from her team on their pick.

Brande has two big spenders come down. It’s around this time that Annie wants to ration the cupcakes so they have some left for when they get additional big spenders. They certainly don’t want to sell them the whole truck, but Brande does want to give them a whole tray, without finding out how much money they plan to give. They end up getting $9,000 for 24 cupcakes.

With 15 minutes left, they’ve sold out.

At the end of the day, the men are getting some more big hitters.

With 7 minutes left, they lower the price to 2 cupcakes for $20, and Tom Green calls Donny to find out where his girl is. Just under 2 minutes left, they get $10,000 for 1 cupcake.

Joan says that Brande was the star of the team.

Claudia says that Annie is the weakest member of their team. She’s mostly just upset because Annie told her how to frost a cupcake (something the chef showed her). Let it go.

Herschel declines to answer who the weak link was, but Dice admits he was. As for Dennis, he needed a spanking.

The women easily won the taste test, which is $15,000 from Crumbs. They were disgusted by the men’s cupcakes.

The men brought in $49,499; the women brought in $61,267. It all comes down to the taste test. Joan’s charity Gods Love We Deliver will be getting the money.

Tom Green brought in $16,000 from three donors, a large chunk of what the men brought in. He doesn’t like that the rest of the guys didn’t make an effort to do the same like he suggested. Herschel says he brought in the most money, but Tom doesn’t like that he didn’t encourage the others to do so as well.

Jesse acknowledges their cupcakes sucked. Scott refuses to pass the blame and just says it was whoever was in the kitchen should share equal blame. Since Andrew didn’t do anything, that leaves him out.

Herschel says that Dennis was effective when he wanted to be effective, but Dennis responds that if he wasn’t doing something right, the team leader should have told him what to do.

Clint would fire Dice due to his lack of contribution.

Andrew says he would agree to leave because the others don’t appreciate what he did anyway, and the others all did a good job. Trump’s response is that he doesn’t want to quit because the three before him who quit are considered losers. This coming from the guy who 2 years ago, when it looked like The Apprentice was going to be cancelled, told NBC they didn’t have to fire him because he quit.

Dice would fire Scott because, well, it’s not entirely clear why. Scott would fire Dennis and Andrew. Brian would fire Andrew. Jesse would fire Dennis. Tom would fire Herschel because he’s the project manager.

Herschel makes the two obvious picks: Dice and Dennis.

Trump’s secretary isn’t interested in going out with Dice after he gets fired tonight.

Dennis would fire Herschel due to lack of a gameplan. He should have been better utilized, or utilized at all for that matter. Dice agrees with his buddy Dennis.

Herschel claims he made an effort to utilize them, but it didn’t seem like it. Granted, it’s entirely possible they just simply can’t be controlled.

Herschel says Dice is washed up. Dice calls the kettle black.

Because Trump thinks that Dice wanted to quit, he’s the first one fired.

The Amazing Race 14 Episode 3

Having dragged behind the pack for both episodes, Steve & Linda were eliminated in The Amazing Race 14 Episode 2.

Teams depart in the order in which they arrived.

First: Tammy & Victor – 10:13AM
Second: Mel & Mike – 12:01PM
Third: Amanda & Kris – 12:12PM
Fourth: Margie & Luke – 12:30PM
Fifth: Brad & Victoria – 12:53PM
Sixth: Jaime & Cara – 1:17PM
Seventh: Kisha & Jen – 1:51PM
Eighth: Mark & Michael – 2:00PM
Ninth: Christie & Jodi – 2:42PM

Teams will travel by train to Munich, then fly over 700 miles to Bucharest, Romania. Upon arrival, they will go to the gymnastics hall where Nadia Comaneci trained. Tammy & Victor have opened up a surprisingly large gap on the other teams.

Tammy considers her brother Victor super smart… but his problem is that he doesn’t want to be wrong. Luke doesn’t like that he has to rely so much on his mom to communicate. Kisha & Jen believe they need to communicate better.

Tammy & Victor stop at a travel agent before taking the train. They get put on standby for the earliest flight. The group on the second train is having the locals call around, and it looks like they’ve got about 30 minutes from the time the train arrives to make the 4:45PM flight. They’re told the next flight after that is 9:30PM, which is more than 6 hours after the first flight departs. When they get to the airport, some more options do open up, but there’s still a gap.

First flight (3:20PM – forced to turn around after takeoff): Tammy & Victor
Second flight (4:45PM): Mel & Mike, Margie & Luke, Amanda & Kris
Third flight (7:30PM – delayed and with a tight connection): Brad & Victoria
Fourth flight (9:30PM): Tammy & Victor (no other alternative after their plane turned around for repairs), Jaime & Cara, Michael & Mark, Kisha & Jen, Christie & Jodi

Brad & Victoria knew they were taking a risk by staying on the 7:30 flight, and it didn’t pay off. Their flight already left, and because of the fog, there are no more flights that day. They will be on the 9:15AM flight the next morning. Disastrous.

The road block is to perform gymnastics: balance beam, parallel bars, and floor exercises. They will need to perform the moves correctly and in the right order. It’s not readily apparent who actually performed the road block because I still can’t tell the all male/female teams apart. Perhaps the most critical thing that happened at the road block is that Tammy & Victor first got lost, then she froze up and took a long time when they did get there.

From there, teams will travel by train to Brasov, Transylvania. The earliest train is 6:30AM, about 6 hours after the 9:30 flight lands. This should bunch up everybody except Brad & Victoria. On the ride over, Jaime & Cara are bonding with Luke.

The detour is a choice between gypsy moves or vampire remains. In gypsy moves, teams will load belongings on to horsedrawn carts, then navigate them to the new encampment and unload the belongings. In vampire remains, teams will drag a coffin to the clearing, unlock and open it to reveal antique frames inside, and impale the frames on a stake to find a hidden flag.

Gypsy moves: Amanda & Kris, Kisha & Jen, Mel & Mike, Mark & Michael
Vampire remains: Christie & Jodi, Tammy & Victor, Jaime & Cara, Margie & Luke, Brad & Victoria

Mel & Mike have picked the physical task, which they know is dumb. Victor insists that he’s following the right marked path, even though he’s just following some random path. Tammy corrects him, but he insists to just keep going. Jaime & Cara (and Margie & Luke who are following them) get lost on the way to the detour. While they’re unloading, Kris says he doesn’t have his fanny pack, but Amanda tells him not to worry and that they’ll get it. This could potentially be a worse mistake than Brad & Victoria made. Tammy & Victor? They’re still walking and walking and walking. He has no plans to listen to her. After running around for a while, Amanda & Kris have found the fanny pack, which cost them first place but still keeps them in the game. Now that they’ve walked up the mountain and found nothing, Victor finally agrees to listen to Tammy. When they finally find the coffin, they lose the key on the way down the hill and have to crawl around on the ground to find it. Nicely planned task.

First: Mel & Mike (win a trip to Costa Rica)
Second: Amanda & Kris
Third: Kisha & Jen
Fourth: Margie & Luke
Fifth: Mark & Michael
Sixth: Christie & Jodi
Seventh: Jaime & Cara
Eighth: Tammy & Victor
Eliminated: Brad & Victoria

The sun has set, and Brad & Victoria keep going and have finally arrived at the mat, unsurprisingly being eliminated.

Stay tuned to dingoRUE for another live recap of The Amazing Race 14 Episode 4 It was Like a Caravan of Idiots, which airs Sunday at 8/7c on CBS.
