CSI: NY Season 4, Episode 9 – “One Wedding and a Funeral”

Last week, the CSI team was faced with an electrocuted woman and a robbery. This week, the team is faced with an odd crime scene – a wedding event with high profile families, the Hatfield and McCoys. While the two families were fighting even before the wedding started, the bride Emma Blackstone searches for her husband-to-be only to find him dead on the groom’s tent.

The CSI team examines the victim’s body and sees no gunshot wounds and stab wounds; he wasn’t even one of the people fighting at the wedding. The weird thing about the groom had bubble wrap underneath his shirt and yellow stain from his shoes that leads to the paint outside his tent. Mac says the victim was still alive about 20 feet from outside the tent.

At the lab, Dr. Hammerback is examining the body during autopsy when he hears a mobile phone ringing inside the victim’s skin. The phone was cushioned with stuffing under his skin. Hammerback comes to a conclusion that the victim died of sharp forced trauma to the chest using three different weapons that punctured the lungs. He also determines the time of death: around 2 to 3 am. The question now is: How does the vic step into a curb with fresh yellow paint around 6 am, but die three hours earlier?

In the meantime, Stella and Lindsay were outside the Russo trial preliminary hearing because police found a box addressed to Stella. Since it is not a bomb or any electronic device that may explode, they opened it to find a huge plastic of puzzles.

Assuming that Drew had something to do with it because she has been receiving tons of weird gifts from him for the past weeks, she storms into Drew’s place and gets angry with him. However, Drew says the gift was not from him.

Stella sees that a piece of the puzzle has blood and traces of powder. Adam, although unwillingly, put the pieces of puzzle together while Lindsay examines the box to find a rock (which then turns out to be petrified redwood). Confused why the puzzle was left for her, Stella desperately searches for answers.

Meanwhile, Hawkes explains the groom’s shoes and the stain left on it. He analyzes that the killer may have switches shoes with the groom after killing him, which led them to the last places the victim may have gone – at the bar and in his hotel. Flack and Hawkes eventually finds the crime scene at the groom’s hotel. They also discovered that there was an open box and a missing gift.

Adam finally completed the puzzle and makes a 3D version of multiple buildings. Since there were missing pieces in the puzzle, Stella goes back to Drew’s apartment to ask if she may have left a few pieces of the puzzle there. She then asks for an apology for the way she blamed Drew earlier, then left.

Although Stella found one piece from Drew’s apartment, Adam explains that the missing piece was not supposed to be part of the puzzle. The piece they were looking for were deliberately removed because of the blood. They soon discovered that the missing piece was from a New York building, specifically floors 32 to 36. As it turns out, floor 36 has been vacant since the last month, so Lindsay and Stella decided to visit the apartment. There they found another box with a chalk body outline and a satchel.

For the second box of clues, Adam finds and puts together another set of puzzles. It was the continuation of the first 3D buildings and was part of the missing pieces. Stella discovers that the satchel had markings of the Hagia Sofia building. Lindsay discovers that only a few businesses use petrified redwood in New York and they sent Lindsay a copy of their employees. This list led to an ex-pedophile named John Andrews. Unfortunately, he’s not the one the team is looking for.

Adam says that the 2nd missing piece is on the 29th floor of 56th 30 Broadway. When Lindsay and Stella visited the next clue, they were in a dead end because there’s no building to collect a new box.

Flack interrogates the victim’s best man, George, who admitted that he discovered his best friend’s body at the hotel dead. Since he took a bet that he would bring the groom to the wedding (since it is his 2nd wedding), he bubble-wrapped the groom so he could attend the wedding. In the meantime, Danny is trying to find the murder weapon that killed the groom. He believes that the groom was killed using a type of cooking equipment.

Mac visits Adam to see the famed 3D puzzle he has been building for hours. Mac says that the 2nd missing piece was the Riverton building (from Mac’s first crime scene case) and the 1st missing piece was actually Mac’s first apartment in New York. Mac, although absolutely shocked, says that the 3D puzzle was about his life when he finds the building where he proposed to his wife.

Since only Flack and Stella knew about the 333 caller, Mac explained to Adam and Lindsay about his stalker, the late-night calls at exactly 3:33 am, the bloody kid’s shirt from Mac’s luggage. Mac asks for the blood sample found on the puzzle and discovers that the blood on the shirt and the man making the puzzle are siblings. Mac says the next clue will be on the building where he got engaged, and to the team’s surprise, they find another box.

Inside the box was another batch of puzzles to be assembled and a piece of limestone that only comes from Southwestern US. Mac examines all the evidences – from the first stone to the satchel, the second stone to all the buildings from the 3D puzzle – and says in a matter-of-fact tone that the limestone was from the Alamo and the building (which Adam and Lindsay are still busy completing) is the Tribune Tower in Chicago.

As soon as Mac steps foot in Chicago, he receives a call asking him: “How does it feel to be home, detective Taylor?”

What will happen next? Will this be the end of the 333 caller?

Bones Season 3, Episode 8: The Knight on the Grid

Tonight’s episode of Bones is an exciting one since it is a continuation of the “Widow’s Son” serial killer episode, which started off this season. Dr. Brennan receives a mysterious package at her apartment with two kneecaps that turned out to be from a Father Douglas Cooper’s body, who was a vicar general of the D.C. Archbishop.

Angela examines the tapestry found at the vault and identifies the characters to be “Barabas”, a biblical prisoner set free while Jesus Christ was sentenced to death. She then discovers some patterns on the tapestry translating to a D.C. map, which points to all the murder scenes – a mausoleum, vault location and the old mansion turned nursing home.

Booth and Jack finds another sculpture from the Gorgomon in the mausoleum. However, they find no silver on the skeleton; it is made of real bones instead. Zach tells Camille about the evidence he found of 18 different victims in the skeleton, all of which have been eaten aging up to 50 years old. Plus, a puzzling thing is that the teeth marks did not match Father Douglas.Angela tries to decipher the tapestry and finds several Masonic standards –a musician, orator, bishop, architect, martyr, corrupter, scientist, hermit, teacher and judge. Booth labels Gavin as the musician and Father Douglas as the bishop. The team realizes that lobbyist Ray Porter may just be the best choice for the killer’s next victim because he stands as the “corrupter”.

In the meantime, Zach discovers a hidden cam in the vault and finds out that Gorgomon has been listening and watching them the entire time. On the other hand, Booth and Bones are trying to catch him when the taxi they’re spying on gets blown up. Both of them are okay, but they discover that Gorgomon used his own teeth as shrapnel (as part of the bomb).

Lance Sweets was a very helpful part of the case. He was able to figure out that there were more than 1 killer and there was a pattern to the killings. He was also the one who thought that Gorgomon is trying to recreate Adam, which then led Zach to finding the numbers “1026” etched on the rib. They searched within the Gorgomon vault and found the box with that exact number, which had a 30-year-old key for a room at the municipal department of social services.

Booth and Bones interrogate Arthur Graves, who used to work with disturbed boys but now lives in the old mansion. Since the guy has Alzheimer’s, Brennan moves to take an impression of his teeth only to find out that all his teeth are gone. Then, Ray Porter is then seen coming from work then being attacked by a mysteriously insane-looking teenage boy with a knife.

As for Brennan’s family, Russ’ girlfriend Amy shows up at Bones’ asking for help. As it turns out, Russ’ youngest daughter Haley has cystic fibrosis and she’s getting worse. They badly want to see Russ, but he’s still on the run. Brennan is touched, so she gave Amy the contact details to one of the best doctors specializing in CF. Bones then visits her father to relay a message to Russ that his daughter really wants to see him. Russ did come back, but the responsible special agent Booth arrested him. However, Brennan convinces Booth to allow her and Russ to visit Haley at the hospital before they take him in.

Heroes Season 2 Episode 11

Thanks to his daughter’s blood, Noah’s death was short-lived in Heroes Season 2 Episode 10. Sylar, who hasn’t liked Alejandro from the beginning, killed him and took his sister Maya to see Suresh. At the end of the episode, Peter, Hiro, and Adam all showed up in Odessa, TX, where Hiro was there to kill Adam, sword in hand, but Peter was interested in protecting him.

Suresh returns home to find Sylar waiting for him. Maya’s there with him, cooking breakfast. The niceness won’t last long. Sylar wants to find a cure for the virus, via the combination of Claire’s and Suresh’s blood. Suresh pulls a knife; Sylar pulls a gun. Maya seems shocked to find out that Sylar is a liar. She gets angry and tries to use her powers, but Sylar guilts her into stopping herself.

Nathan tells his mother Peter’s alive. This convinces her to recount her story from the past, how they decided the world needed fixing by being wiped out, but she later was against it. He says she hasn’t changed much, since she tried to blow up New York. After telling Parkman and Nathan to go to Odessa, TX, she warns them to kill Adam with a bullet through the head, and Parkman hears her thinking that they’ll have to kill Peter the same way if they can’t stop him.

Hiro finds Peter and Adam and tries to kill Adam, but Peter uses his powers to protect him. Hiro tells him he shouldn’t trust Adam, that they knew each other a long time ago, and that he killed his father. In turn, Peter warns that he went into the future and saw the problems the virus will cause. He then shocks him unconcious. When time restarts, Adam obviously recognizes his old friend.

Claire’s still considering telling everybody what she can do, as an attempt to avoid any future running and secrets. Her mom’s afraid this choice also carries consequences.

Bob continues to be disappointed with Elle. She goes to see HRG, who tells her about how she was experimented on as a child and how Bob was unfeeling and just wanted to keep pushing her even if she was in pain. Bob walks in because he needs to ask if Claire could have any hard evidence that could leave the Company exposed. HRG just smiles. Bob says they’re going to have to take measures to keep her quiet.

Micah asks Niki for help rescuing Monica. Even without super powers, she can at least still drive.

Peter and Adam are looking for the virus. Peter asks if it’s true that Adam killed Hiro’s father, and he admits it, saying it was due to his unwillingness to destroy the virus. In an effort to get Peter to open the door that stands between them and their goal, Adam brings up Caitlin (and something about the fate of the world).

Maya’s still surprised Alejandro was right all along about Sylar. He offers to take her powers off her hands and help them both. While preparing to be stuck with a needle, he warns Mohinder that his father betrayed him, and that he shouldn’t make the same mistake.

Elle’s doing some snooping. She spots Sylar, which she’s happy about because she still wants to make her father proud.

Monica’s kidnappers tell her heroes in the real world end up dead.

Nathan and Parkman go to Odessa as instructed. Parkman tells him what he overheard, but Nathan just says he’ll handle him and that listening to his mother never did any good. Hiro’s happy to see flying man.

Claire refuses to listen to her mother. Perhaps West can get somewhere, but she just gives him his file and says there isn’t an “us” for him to be worried about any more. When she turns around, she sees her father. Okay, so maybe that’s what she needed to change her mind.

Molly offers to help Maya find Alejandro. She can’t find him because he’s dead. Suresh finds out Sylar has the same strain of the virus Niki has, meaning that somebody injected him. While they’re discussing this, an upset Maya confronts him about killing her brother, so he shoots her.

HRG’s just there to warn Claire not to expose the Company. He has to go back with the Company, and his family can live normal lives, as if he actually did die.

With much difficulty, Peter manages to get the safe open. What’s this thing made out of anyway? Hiro comes to stop Kensei, but Peter flings him against the wall and lets Adam go forward into the vault. Parkman warns Peter to let Hiro go and go after Adam instead, but Peter doesn’t believe him. He tells him he’s on the wrong side. Nathan asks if he’s on the wrong side, too.

Adam tells Hiro that God just washed away the world he was unhappy with by making it rain for 40 days and 40 nights, and that he intends to do the same, releasing the virus and being a hero. Nathan tells Peter about his visit to the past and asks whether he can really trust Adam.

Peter realizes who the actual enemy is, and he grabs the vial containing the virus, destroying it in his hands.

Nathan wants to take this whole thing public and destroy the Company. Of course, he’s being filmed when he says this.

Suresh cures Maya at Sylar’s insistence that he try it on her first. Elle shows up and chases after Sylar.

Monica’s left to die in a burning building. So why doesn’t she use her powers or something? Micah tracks her down, and Niki runs into the burning building to save her. Monica gets out okay, but while Niki’s still inside, the building explodes.

Hiro buries Adam alive, telling Ando he’ll never bother anybody again.

Elle’s afraid she’ll get in trouble for chasing off Sylar, but Suresh thanks her and says they owe her their lives.

Nathan holds a press conference to blow the secret. As he’s about to reveal his ability, he gets shot. His mom warns that Pandora’s box has been opened.

Sylar’s injuries don’t last long. He’s able to heal himself. Beyond that, he can move objects with his mind. He’s back, and so concludes volume two.

The Amazing Race 12 Episode 5

Trying to play up their new U-turn twist as something that actually made a difference in the leg results, the producers tried to make us think Lorena & Jason were eliminated from The Amazing Race 12 Episode 4 as a result of the U-turn. The fact that they were an hour and a half behind because of the ridiculous whining at the camel task was disregarded. Anyway, we’ll probably be greeted with some more drama about Shana & Jennifer’s decision to use the U-turn in tonight’s episode.

Tonight the show’s starting on time. That’s new.

Teams depart in the order in which they arrived.

First: Azaria & Hendekea (6:45am)
Second: Nathan & Jennifer (6:46am)
Third: Ronald & Christina (7:17am)
Fourth: Nicolas & Donald (7:18am)
Fifth: Kynt & Vyxsin (7:22am)
Sixth: Shana & Jennifer (7:44am)
Seventh: TK & Rachel (7:59am)

The next destination is Vilinius, Lithuania.

Azaria admits he’s a bit harsh with Hendekea. Jennifer’s done crying now and just says she’s hungry for a win this time. Christina tells her father she loves him out of obligation more than anything else. He wants to teach her how to deal with various kinds of people… because he’s not a total train wreck at doing so himself

Nicolas & Donald arrive at the ticket office before most other teams, but because they get a person who doesn’t speak English, the seats they were arranging ended up being given to Azaria & Hendekea. For some reason, though, after they leave, there’s still another set of seats for Nathan & Jennifer. But despite all the drama and the original seats that were scheduled to arrive after 5PM, they get seats on another flight at 1:35PM, 10 minutes after the first flight.

As expected, Shana & Jennifer are being ridiculous about using the U-turn, as Jennifer doesn’t agree with the decision to use it and was quick to point this out to us and the other teams.

1st flight (arrives 1:25PM): Azaria & Hendekea, Nathan & Jennifer, Shana & Jennifer
2nd flight (arrives 1:35PM): Nicolas & Donald, TK & Rachel, Kynt & Vyxsin
3rd flight (arrives 2:10PM): Ronald & Christina

The first and second flights are within minutes of each other and run into each other pretty quickly. Most people are just guessing where they’re going. Last place Ronald & Christina hire a taxi to show them the way.

Nathan & Jennifer are falling apart, getting mean and nasty with each other for no apparent reason.

In the road block, they must become a Lithuanian messenger, delivering packages through allegedly confusing streets. Most people don’t appear to have a lot of difficulty.

Road block: Nicolas, Kynt, Hendekea, Ronald, TK, Jennifer, Shana

Nicolas gets stuck on his second delivery, and all the other teams pass him. The blondes go in circles for a while and are the last ones to arrive at the road block. Both teams finish the road block at the same time.

The next stop is a Lithuanian museum. There, teams must find gnomes. Of course, this is sponsored by Travelocity. This doesn’t appear to serve any actual purpose other than product placement.

The detour is a choice between count down or step up. In count down, they’ll count every picket that makes up a fence. Counting tasks typically suck, particularly for teams with minimal patience (no need to point them out). In step up, they’ll stilt walk along a marked course. If they fall off, they must return to the beginning.

Step up: TK & Rachel, Ronald & Christina, Nathan & Jennifer (after trying count down)
Count down: Kynt & Vyxsin (after trying step up), Azaria & Hendekea (after trying step up), Nicolas & Donald, Shana & Jennifer

Kynt & Vyxsin seem to have an easy time at counting. Ronald overcomes the hernia to finish the physical task, which it was fairly silly for them to do in the first place. Nathan & Jennifer are drove crazy by counting. Shana & Jennifer just simply can’t seem to agree on anything… still.

The pitstop for this leg of the race is a working windmill.

First: TK & Rachel (win a trip to Japan)
Second: Kynt & Vyxsin
Third: Ronald & Christina
Fourth: Azaria & Hendekea
Fifth: Nathan & Jennifer
Sixth: Nicolas & Donald
Seventh: Shana & Jennifer (eliminated)

A lot of people will probably try to point this out as karma, but at the end of the day, their problem was that they couldn’t work together as a team. The finger pointing that came with the U-turn was a pretty clear example of this, and it continued throughout this leg as well. The best thing about this is that now there’s only one person named Jennifer in this race (even though both are equally annoying). What was up with that anyway?

Next week, Azaria loses patience with Hendekea, and Nathan and Jennifer decide they hate each other. So basically more of the same.

The Biggest Loser 4 Episode 12

The inevitable boot choice in The Biggest Loser 4 Episode 11 was Kae once she dropped below the yellow line. Despite her elimination, Kae has been by far the most successful female in the show’s history, not to mention more successful than most of the men.

Alison greets everybody in the gym and says that this week, the fate of everybody in that room rests in the hands of America. Yeah, that’s never good. People had to go online and vote for their favorite challenge. 1) US Bank climb up 74 flights of stairs. 2) Never-ending jumprope. 3) Poles over water. 4) Endless escalator.

Bill really wants the escalator challenge. Bryan wants something that’s not a stair challenge. Nicole believes the pole challenge may give blue team an advantage because of their meditation with Bob.

Bryan’s still trying to figure out what’s going on with his nutrition. It’s been too long for him to still be at this stage. Kim has him go over exactly what he’s eating to try to figure it out. She’s okay with his breakfast. She’s okay with his lunch. Until he tells her he marinates things in soy sauce, a high sodium food, which creates an environment for retaining water.

The challenge that America picks is the poles over water challenge. Contestants will be suspended above water holding on to poles. Whoever doesn’t fall wins. Last time, this challenge lasted for an hour. Andre Agassi tells them the winner will get a vacation to Tamarack Resort Idaho. Isabeau struggles right away and is first out. Neil’s not far behind. Nicole falls next. Bryan falls next, and Hollie’s a couple seconds after that. That brings us down to Julie and Bill, both of whom are just relaxing. Julie’s worried because she knows what kind of competition she’s up against. There’s a lot of heckling from the sidelines, as people are rooting for Julie to win, or at least for Bill to lose. Eventually, though, Julie does slip and fall, and Bill wins. Nobody pretends to be happy for him. They’re tired of him winning everything. They’ll be really tired of him if he wins the whole thing, which he’s well on his way to doing. He’s happy because this is the vacation he promised his kids.

After the challenge, everybody decides to have some fun because they haven’t seen a pool in a while, except for Hollie who just sits on the side of the pool and pouts. Ignoring the no diving signs, Nicole chips her teeth on the bottom of the pool. She has to get temporary teeth but remains positive.

The doctors come to give the contestants some good news. Neil has lost an equivalent of 3.5 of the Poland Springs water jugs from his body. Despite having lost the least weight, Julie has lost 45% of her waist line, more than the other contestants. Isabeau, who was pre-diabetic, currently has the best insulin of the group. Bill has been taken off his blood pressure medication but has still lowered his blood pressure to 128/80, within range of normal blood pressure. Bryan’s cholesterol has dropped over 100 points. Nicole has gained 11 pounds of muscle and lost the most amount of fat proportionately. Despite her thyroid problem, Hollie has lost over 40% of the area of her hips.

During the last chance workout, Neil looks like he’s going to collapse half the time. Unlike the black team girls who whine long before they get to that stage, he just keeps going and going without any complaints. Bill and Bryan have similar attitudes. Speaking of black team girls whining, Hollie modified her workout because she has an injured ankle. She tells Jillian she can still box, though, so Jillian offers the opportunity to do so, and she refuses so she can pout instead.

Bryan: 266 pounds (-4, 1.48%)
Isabeau: 230 pounds (-4, 1.71%)
Bill: 222 pounds (-6, 2.63%)
Nicole: 212 pounds (-6, 2.75%)
Hollie: 201 pounds (-3, 1.47%)
Julie: 171 pounds (-5, 2.84%)
Neil: 298 pounds (-5, 1.65%)

That puts Bryan and Hollie below the yellow line. We know Hollie’s got two votes for her to stay. Now it’s just a matter of whether Bill tries to break up that trio. Unluckily for Bryan, Hollie’s not only got black team support, but she’s also the weakest threat of the group. Bryan assures Kim she’s taught him enough, as they both assume he’s gone.

Votes
Isabeau: Bryan
Neil: Hollie
Bill: Bryan
Julie: Bryan

With Bryan’s elimination, the red team is now gone. Today, he weighs 228 pounds, down 118 pounds from his starting weight of 346. He hopes to become a successful recording artist now that he’s comfortable performing.

Stay tuned to dingoRUE for another recap of The Biggest Loser 4 episode 13, which airs Tuesday at 8/7c on NBC.

The Amazing Race Asia 2 Episode 2

We started off the season with two teams nobody’s going to like both competing for last place. In the end of The Amazing Race Asia 2 Episode 1, the excessively loud Terri and her husband Henry came in 9th place. They were followed by bickering dating couple Edwin & Monica, but like last season, the first leg was a non-elimination, so we’re still stuck with both teams. On the other end of the spectrum, sisters Vanessa & Pamela managed to stay ahead of fitness enthusiasts Rovilson & Marc to take first place.

Teams depart in the order in which they arrived.

First: Pamela & Vanessa (7:19am)
Second: Rovilson & Marc (7:26am)
Third: Ann & Diane (7:32am)
Fourth: Brett & Kinaryosih (7:35am)
Fifth: Aurelia & Sophie (7:44am)
Sixth: Paula & Natasha (8:21am)
Seventh: Adrian & Collin (8:22am)
Eighth: Daichi & Sawaka (8:49am)
Ninth: Terri & Henry (9:40am)
Tenth: Edwin & Monica (9:53am)

Teams must take a taxi to the Green Star bus terminal, where they will catch a bus to the Pila Municipal Center in Pila Laguna, an hour and a half outside Manila.

Looking at their airport map, Ann & Diane see Marc (of Rovilson & Marc), who’s a TV host/model from the Philippines.

At the suggestion of the boys, the first two teams beg the bus driver to stop waiting and instead take off. It works. The bus leaves every 15 minutes, or whenver the bus driver feels like leaving.

Manila to Pila Laguna
Bus 1: Pamela & Vanessa, Rovilson & Marc
Bus 2: Brett & Kinaryosih, Ann & Diane
Bus 3: Aurelia & Sophie
Bus 4: Paula & Natasha, Adrian & Collin
Bus 5: Daichi & Sawaka
Bus 6: Terri & Henry
Bus 7: Edwin & Monica

On their bus, Paula & Natasha beg for money.

At the road block, racers must travel by tricycle to the rice paddy field, select a carabao, and plow a figure 8 through the field. Animal tasks are notorious for lack of cooperation.

Road block: Marc, Pamela, Kinaryosih, Diane, Aurelia, Natasha, Adrian, Daichi, Henry, Edwin

The road block turns out to be pretty straightforward, as these animals actually listen to commands. While everybody other than Marc struggles, there are no major breakdowns like the camel milking task.

Teams must then proceed to the Caltex Star Mart in Manila, since Caltex is a sponsor. When they get there, they must collect boxes of donations and deliver them to a children’s shelter. It’s a nice task, and the kids are cute… just not particularly willing to share or be patient.

Pila Laguna to Manila
Bus 1: Rovilson & Marc
Bus 2: Vanessa & Pamela, Brett & Kinaryosih
Bus 3: Ann & Diane
Bus 4: Sophie & Aurelia
Bus 5: Paula & Natasha, Adrian & Collin
Bus 6: Daichi & Sawaka
Bus 7: Terri & Henry
Bus 8: Edwin & Monica

Heading back to Manila, Vanessa & Pamela fail to read the entire clue (the part that says to go to Manila), and the boys leave them behind. Bus 2 breaks down, a potential break for the later teams. Vanessa & Pamela decide to take a taxi. Should be a penalty, unless there was something about this I missed.

Detour is a choice between heel or wheel. In heel, teams must match up all 250 pairs of shoes. In wheel, teams must assemble a bicycle. The task that requires no skill sounds more logical.

Wheel: Rovilson & Marc, Vanessa & Pamela, Ann & Diane, Aurelia & Sophie, Daichi & Sawaka, Terri & Henry, Edwin & Monica
Heel: Brett & Kinaryosih, Adrian & Collin, Paula & Natasha

Pamela & Vanessa get dropped off, well, they don’t really know where. Odd considering the show apparently arranged for the transportation and should have told the drivers where they were headed. It doesn’t seem to cost them too much time, though.

Rovilson & Marc assemble their bike first… with the handlebar facing the wrong way. After correcting this, they still manage to finish first. Paula & Natasha look forward to the shoe task because they have more shoes than that.

Paula & Natasha see a taxi with someone in it, get her out, and offer to pay her fare to take her cab.

The next pitstop is Paco Park & Cemetery in Manila, the original resting place of the Filipino hero Jose Rizal.

First: Rovilson & Marc (win $5000US)
Second: Paula & Natasha
Third: Diane & Ann
Fourth: Pamela & Vanessa
Fifth: Adrian & Collin
Sixth: Brett & Kinaryosih
Seventh: Aurelia & Sophie
Eighth: Daichi & Sawaka
Ninth: Terri & Henry
Tenth: Edwin & Monica (eliminated)

Not a particularly suspenseful leg, and not really well designed either. It was pretty obvious based on the leg design that Edwin & Monica had no prayer of catching up. Oddly enough, neither of these two teams that were so annoying last time were particularly annoying this time. Until the end when Edwin started yelling at Monica again and calls her useless.
