Kevin “K-Fed” Federline’s Nationwide Super Bowl Commercial

Posted by soultrance on Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 11:52 am

Well, it’s official, if Britney Spears baby daddy Kevin “K-Fed” Federline had any credibility left, what-so-ever, he has officially flushed it down the toilet now.

It’s been known for a few weeks now that Kevin Federline has been working on a primetime Super Bowl commerical for Nationwide, and the illusive commercial has finally been leaked online!

I have to admit, as much as I hate K-Fed, the Nationwide Super Bowl commercial is by far the best thing he has ever done - maybe he’ll realize that and stick to making an ass of himself in commercials - at least one can dream.

Hillary Clinton, American Idol 6 Reject?

Posted by soultrance on Monday, January 29, 2007 at 2:17 pm

My wife sent me this video and I just had to post it.

Watch and enjoy as the potential future President of the United States butchers the national anthem!

It’s to bad she didn’t give American Idol 6 a go instead, I would have loved to see Simon Cowell’s comments on this performance.

In the lap of luxury, Heidi officially starts the show off by leading Kinetic Corp. in a team pep talk.

While, on the other side of the trees, the members of Arrow Corp. are making the best of their outdoor digs and celebrating their new found security (after Michelle’s resignation) with a few beers and cheese-doodles around the fire.

The next few months are going to be big for the reality TV world and I can’t wait!

We’re not far off from the spring reality TV season and you know what that means, new shows! Lots of the top reality TV shows are kicking off over the next few months, and some of the top networks have even bumped the dates of their best reality TV series up to compete and compensate for other lacking shows.

Mark your calenders, set your TiVo’s and warm up the butt groove in the couch, the next few months are going to be rough and that couch is in for some punishment!

Heroes Videos: New Heroes and Behind the Scenes

Posted by soultrance on Thursday, January 25, 2007 at 1:30 am

heroes recaps

Monday night saw the the Golden Globe winning and critically acclaimed TV show Heroes return from its winter vacation to overwhelming fanfare. The hit TV show returned to the air at it’s usual time with episode 12: “Godsend”, which shed light on the future of Peter Petrelli, Hiro Nakamura’s journey to find a powerful samurai sword and even gave us our first glimpse at one of two new Heroes, an invisible man named Claude. But the journey has just begun.

The overwhelming popularity and success of Heroes made its episode 12 return #1 in the Nielsen ratings for it’s time slot and has already earned it a second season deal, to which Heroes creator Tim Kring said “The idea behind the show is what happens to these characters and their lives. Season one posits an apocalyptic event; we will deal with that in season one, then season two will have another story attached to it. There won’t be a central mystery with the show, so we don’t have to deal with a large complicated storyline.”

Since the series faithful return on Monday night, the good people over at NBC have released a few interesting bits of info, along with some brand spanking new Heroes videos:

Hell’s Kitchen 3: A New Day and An Early Debut

Posted by soultrance on Thursday, January 25, 2007 at 12:43 am

hell's kitchen

Hell’s Kitchen is the pinnacle of reality TV in my books. It has all the ingredient needed to make a hit reality TV series: challenging competitions, cool rewards and terrible punishments, great competitors, whiners and fighters, loads of drama and, most importantly, an angry, bitter, British host.

It seems like years since I watched the season finale of Hell’s Kitchen 2, where Heather vanquished the evil Virginia to claim the top prize, her very own restaurant, and ever since that faithful moment I’ve yearned for another season of the reality TV series. Well, it would appear that my wait is nearly over! The fantastic people at Fox have decided that they will kick things off early and begin airing new episodes of the Chef Gordon Ramsay hosted Hell’s Kitchen 3 this March! The series usually airs in the summer months, but with the passing of the craptacular series “The O.C.”, Fox had to search for something to fill the spot and Hell’s Kitchen just so happened to fit the bill. That also means that the schedule will be flipped around a little and the hit reality TV series will now be airing on Thursday nights at 9pm EST!

The Apprentice 6: LA Recap - Episode 3

The Apprentice 6: Los Angeles - Episode 3 Recap

January 21st, 2007 - The inevitable has happened, I am officially hooked. I knew after the first two episodes that I’d get hooked on The Apprentice 6: LA, and sure enough, I’m hooked.

It’s much easier to get into a reality TV series when you like a lot of the competitors, or at the very least are entertained by them, and thus far the Apprentice competitors have delivered and kept me entertained. And, as sad as it is, I’m really liking the one team lives in luxury while the other camps out twist, it adds an entirely new dynamic to the show.
