The Apprentice 6 Los Angeles Episode 13 Live Blog

Welcome to The Apprentice 6 Los Angeles Episode 13 live blog! Unfortunately I wasn’t able to recap episode 12 and, after having watched it, I really wish I would have been able to. Episode 12 was, without a doubt, one of the best episode of The Apprentice Los Angeles and was exactly what the show needed to spike my interest again.

Since this is a live blog, all the usual rules apply. I will be updating this post at every commercial break, so keep refreshing and enjoy!

Welcome to the final 4 baby!

  • Things kick off with a brief episode 12 recap, as usual, highlighting the exciting boardroom meeting and the Donald firing Christine and Heidi.
  • James is super proud of everyone that’s left.
  • Don and Donald Trump walk into the mansion and sneak up on everyone.
  • Donald tells Frank he’s a hard one to fire and really has the fight in him.
  • Contestants going to attend a cocktail party with the winners of the Apprentice season 1-5.
  • Trump compliments all the contestants and takes off.
  • Everyone is psyched to meet the 5 Apprentice winners.
  • The contestants enter the Beverly Wilshire hotel and meet up with all the Apprentices but one, who was called away on business.
  • Everyone has a big chat session and the hopefuls get to ask the Apprentice winners a bunch of questions.
  • One of the Apprentice winners tells both teams this is the final task! Both teams have 30 seconds to pick, from all the former contestants, who they want to have on their final team! Things are finally getting exciting again!
  • Both teams scored the teams they wanted. I missed who picked who, so I’ll pick up on that when they show the teams.

Reality TV Blogs Worth Reading

As much as some people might not believe me, blogging really isn’t as easy as it looks. In the old days of news sites, newspapers and magazines, time wasn’t nearly as much a factor as it is in today’s world of blogging. Timing, quickness and content are all king in the world of blogging and it’s not easy to keep on top of everything. The blogs that are able to stay on top of their topics and cover them in a timely manner generally do very well.

Blogging on any topic can easily become a full time endeavour and as much as a lot of bloggers, myself included, would love to dedicate all their time to blogging, it’s just not financially feasible. So like any other blogger would, I do the best I can to stay on top of things and offer up witty, original content on a regular basis – which is sometimes easier said than done.

Running a blog takes a lot of motivation and dedication and I have nothing but respect for the bloggers of the world. For this very reason, I have decided to share the love with some of my favorite reality TV blogs. So get out there, check out these sites and show your support for the reality TV boggers out there.

Reality TV Blogs that Rock:

  • TVGasm – Even though TVGasm isn’t updated as much as it used to be, it’s still a great source for original and entertaining TV related content. The writers at TVGasm clearly love what they do and have fun doing it, which is easily seen in every post on the site.
  • Reality TV Magazine – With the amount of content that runs through this site you’d never guess that it’s run by only two TV addicts. The articles on Reality TV Magazine are generally short, to the point and informative, which no doubt makes it easier to push so many updates out the door everyday. Reality TV Magazine is without a doubt one of my favorite reality TV blogs.
  • BuddyTV – Alright, I’m usually more a fan of the average Joe running a blog than the blogs owned by big companies, but BuddyTV is the exception to the rule. They have a ton of writers, a fantastic amount of original content and they are always able to score the best interviews in the TV world. BuddyTV is a must read for any true TV addict.
  • Rickey – As much as I try to avoid American Idol now-a-days, I can’t help but read Rickey‘s site. He is, without a doubt, the most dedicated American Idol fan I have ever come across and he manages to dig up every little bit of information circling the show and it’s past contestants. If you’re an American Idol fan, Rickey is definitely the site for you.

Well, there you have it, some of the best reality TV blogs online. Check them out, show your support for us poor, humble (ha!) bloggers and don’t hesitate to leave a comment. Any true blogger loves hearing what their readers have to say.

TV Shows That Rock: Entourage on HBO

I’ll be the first to admit that I never saw myself as being much of an Entourage fan, but after a bit of talking with some people at work, I finally decided to give the show a shot a few months ago and was I ever impressed. Being in Canada and not having HBO as part of my TV plan, I was limited to watching reruns of the show compliments of a local TV station, that is of course, until I found alternative methods of getting my hands on the first two seasons and part 1 of the third season.

Once I finally had the ability to enjoy the show from the very beginning, I was hooked. It was only a matter of days before I had wiped through the entire first, second, and third seasons of HBO’s Entourage. My experience with coming to the final episode of the third season was much like that of when NBC’s Heroes went on hiatus. I had gotten so into the show that it really sucked not being able to have that fresh episode every week, luckily that has all come to an end.

On April 8th the show made it’s triumphant return to HBO to close out its third season and things are as good as ever. Naturally, since I still don’t have the ability to watch Entourage on HBO, I’ve found other ways of getting my paws on the episodes to stay my cravings.

Apparently I’m not the only one that missed the show while it was on hiatus. According to the TV gods at Variety, Entourage returned to HBO to some of its highest ratings ever, attracting some 3.77 million viewers, a whopping 40% more than the shows season two debut.

Heroes Episode 19 Spoilers – Part 1

D-Day is quickly approaching and the seemingly endless hiatus that NBC Heroes has been on is now coming to an end in only 12 days. Twelve long, painful days.

Heroes will return to much jubilation and excitement on April 23rd with the first of only five episodes left in the shows highly successful debut season.

What better way is there to celebrate the return of one of the best shows on television than to dish the dirt on what you can expect!

Leading up to April 23rd and the return of Heroes on NBC, I will be making a series of spoiler posts giving away tid-bits of information surrounding the series epic return. Without further adieu, I present to you the first set of Heroes Episode 19 Spoilers:

From TV.com:

“Sylar and Peter face off. Sylar will face off with another Hero and Isaac’s new pictures show a dead Hero without a brain. Two unexpected reunions will occur and Linderman will reveal to Nathan shocking secrets and plans. We will meet a computer savvy geek and a competent security guard who works in the Corinthian Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas. A hero dies.”

From TVGuide.com:

“Sylar confronts two more on the list; Nathan considers Linderman’s advice as he faces difficult decisions; Thompson (Eric Roberts) hunts for Claire; Hiro renews his vow to save the world.”

Stay tuned for the next installment of Heroes Episode 19 Spoilers! I have barely scratched the very surface of what is to come and you can expect to learn a great deal more in the coming days.

dingoRUE.com Status Update

Hello all you faithful readers. I apologize for the lack of updates recently, life has been very busy of late and I haven’t had the time, nor the drive to write anything. For the past week myself and my wife have been working on completing her Canadian immigration papers, and for those of you who have never had the pleasure of filling out said papers, they are a royal pain in the butt. It seems like every time we thought we were done, we’d read it over again and find out we were still missing something. Luckily all that is over and done with, the package was sent in last week and now we play the waiting game.

We also decided to take a bit of a break from life and have been in Port Alberni on Vancouver Island visiting family for the Easter weekend. Unfortunately, that also means that the chances of me watching the Apprentice Los Angeles tonight are pretty slim, and the chances of me live blogging or recaping the show are somewhere between slim and none at all.

So, if Apprentice Los Angeles news is what you’re looking for, check out the following sites:

Thanks to all the loyal readers out there for your patience. Rest assured dingoRUE is far from dead and I’m planning to kick things back into gear this coming week, so to quote someone, from somewhere and sometime – stay tuned!

P.S.

If you have any suggestions, thoughts or ideas for what you’d like to see on dingoRUE, please feel free to contact me via email or leave a comment. I read all emails and comments I receive and love to hear from you all!
