T-Minus 6 days until the full fledged return of the single best show on TV. Are you excited? I am! Heroes on NBC will return in full on Monday, April 23rd @ 9/8c and is guarantee to be an incredible episode. Heroes episode 19 “.07%” will be the first of the final 5 episodes of season/chapter 1 of the smash hit TV series.

If you’re like me and a hopeless Heroes addict that has to know absolutely everything possible before it actually happens, then you’re definitely going to want to read on. D-Day is quickly approaching and the seemingly endless hiatus that NBC Heroes has been on is now coming to an end in only 12 days. Twelve long, painful days.

Heroes will return to much jubilation and excitement on April 23rd with the first of only five episodes left in the shows highly successful debut season.

What better way is there to celebrate the return of one of the best shows on television than to dish the dirt on what you can expect!

Leading up to April 23rd and the return of Heroes on NBC, I will be making a series of spoiler posts giving away tid-bits of information surrounding the series epic return. Without further adieu, I present to you the first set of Heroes Episode 19 Spoilers:

“Sylar and Peter face off. Sylar will face off with another Hero and Isaac’s new pictures show a dead Hero without a brain. Two unexpected reunions will occur and Linderman will reveal to Nathan shocking secrets and plans. We will meet a computer savvy geek and a competent security guard who works in the Corinthian Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas. A hero dies.”

NBC Heroes has, without a doubt, been the most successful new show on TV this season, and along with the success of the show has come a whole slew of new innovations. NBC has joined the social networking wave and is not only offering viewers the ability to watch heroes online, in full, but is also offering exclusive behind the scenes videos, interview videos, a ton of pictures, a whole new user experience in Heroes 360, an interactive Heroes message board, an online comic book that fills in all the blanks and now, now you’ll be able to play Heroes: the Mobile Game on your cellphone!

“Recreating the mind-bending universe of the television phenomenon of 2007, Gameloft®, a leading developer and publisher of games for mobile phones, today announced an exclusive worldwide licensing agreement with NBC Universal to develop and publish Heroes: The Mobile Game.”

Now the ultimate Heroes fan can watch and play Heroes anywhere! Just recently NBC teamed with MobiTV to offer Heroes on your cellphone, and now a deal with Gameloft is taking the Heroes experience to a whole new level!

Heroes: The Mobile Game will allow fans of the show and casual gamers the chance to experience the thrill of the superhuman abilities of the show’s characters. The game’s action will be based on the events from the electrifying first season as well as the hotly awaited second season with the game script being contributed to by writers of the hit television series. Players will assume the roles of the time-travelling Hiro Nakamura; the beautiful, but deadly Niki Sanders; telepathic cop Matt Parkman and the enigmatic Peter Petrelli, as they enjoy game play styles based on their unique powers.

It’s sad to say, although it doesn’t surprise me in the least – NBC Heroes has been hit with a lawsuit. What can I say, I’m not surprised someone is coming out of the woodwork and slapping the network with a lawsuit, I’m actually surprised it took someone this long to go after a slice of the NBC pie. Heroes has been an incredible success and it was only a matter of time before someone got the scent of money in their nose and claimed to have come up with the whole idea. Luckily the fact that it’s nothing more than a blatant attempt at a money grab should significantly decrease the chances of anything negative actually coming out of this entire debacle. After all, chances are the people behind the suit are just fishing for a pay off, which they will most likely get, so NBC can sweep the issue under the rug. Unfortunate, but most likely true.

Two artists from New York are behind the money grubbing lawsuit and claim that two writers for NBC’s Crossing Jordan attended their art showing and stole the idea for NBC Heroes from a short story, mini series and short film put together by the couple. Clifton Mallery and wife Amnau Karem Eele specifically claim to be the source of NBC’s inspiration for the Heroes character Isaac Mendez, referring to one of their characters who has the ability to paint the future, including the destruction of two New York landmarks.

Surprisingly enough, a spokesperson for the hit TV show Heroes went on record as saying, “We intend to defend it vigorously and expect to prevail.” If this statement is in fact true, which I doubt it is, and NBC decides to fight these money grabbers, I look forward to seeing how everything plays out!

Don’t forget, NBC Heroes is on hiatus until April 23rd, when the season will return in full force with episode 19 “0.7%”. As sad as it is that Heroes is on hiatus, the sadder fact still is that there are a mere fives episodes left in volume one! I don’t know about you, but I cannot wait to see how everything ends!

NBC Heroes episode 19 “0.7%” spoilers

Any true fan of the hit TV series Heroes knows that the folks at NBC have been offering a whole lot of stuff online since the show started. If you miss an episode, no problem, you can watch it in full on the site; you can scan through a massive archive of pictures from past episodes, and from time to time, future episodes; you can get in on the Heroes 360 action and discover more Easter eggs and extras than you can shake a stick at; you can download wallpapers, screensavers and so much more; you can even follow along with the online comic book which, might I add, is an incredible source of information for upcoming events and episodes. With all that being said, Heroes is certainly one of the best TV shows out there, I would even go as far as to call it the complete entertainment package, and now NBC has expanded the package even more!

Announced just the other day, NBC has officially teamed up with MobiTV to offer all of your favorite NBC TV shows for download on your cellphone! Now, no matter where you go, as long as you have your cellphone on you, you will have the awesomeness that is Heroes at hand. For only $1.99 you can download the newest episodes, in full, directly on to your phone for immediate viewing. At the moment, there is a 24-hour viewing period assigned to each video, so you will have to watch it within a day (which kind of sucks), but for a true Heroes fan that is willing to pay to download and watch the show on their cellphones, waiting 24-hours isn’t going to be very likely.

Heroes episode 19 “0.7” Spoilers, Preview

With Heroes on hiatus yet again and not due to return until April 23rd, the hardcore fans are no doubt already starting to go through withdrawls – I know I am. Well, now there is a way to have a little piece of Heroes history with you for years to come and you’ll get the fuzzy feeling that comes with helping out a great cause at the same time!

NBC, in cooperation with the Epilepsy Foundation, is running an online art auction where all of the proceeds will be donated to the Epilepsy Foundation. What art is up for auction, you ask? None other than the fantastic pieces painted by Isaac Mendez in the hit NBC TV series Heroes! Now is your chance to own a piece of TV history, not only showing your support for the best show in television, but also supporting a great cause.

The painting up for grabs marks a pivotal moment in the TV series: “The Exploding Man”, “Homecoming”, “The Eclipse” and “Hiro Battles T-Rex“. The auction for the first two begins March 26st at 6pm PST, while the auction for the latter two kicks off April 2nd at 6pm PST. My personal favorite is “Hiro BattlesT-Rex”. I just wish I could afford to throw a bid in. How awesome would it be to have one of these fantastic pieces hanging in your living?

Heroes Episode 19 “0.7” Spoilers, Previews

Well, with the best show in TV – NBC’s Heroes – being on yet another hiatus until April 23rd, its pretty hard to come across new dirt on the show, but not impossible.

For whatever reason, the man behind marketing for NBC decided that Heroes wasn’t popular enough on its own and decided to start a rather sad attempt at a viral campaign. Though I have to give him credit, willingly making a parody of the best show on your network to try and further pump up the shows ratings was a ballsy choice, to say the least, and on that has appeared to have paid off.

For those that don’t know yet, Heroes has been joined by a new cast, the Zeroes. Zeroes are a group of “ordinary people with relatively pointless abilities” and that really, pretty much says it all. With over 220,000 views, the Zeroes promo video can definitely be considered a success, even if it is incredibly stupid. By why taken my word for it when you can watch it yourself? Enjoy!
