Amazing Race 11 All-Stars Winners Revealed

What can I say, I’ve never been a huge fan of the Amazing Race. I’ll admit that I really enjoyed watching season 10, mainly because of David and Mary and the Cho brothers, but Amazing Race All-Stars is nearly unwatchable for me. I have never been a fan of Rob and Amber, I quite frankly cannot stand either of them and they’re the main reason for my not having watched much of the All-Stars season, though I now have even less reason to watch as the Amazing Race All Stars winners have already been revealed!

Not only have the winners of the show been leaked, the winners of each leg of the race have been revealed! Though there is no confirmation whether or not the list is actually valid, it has already accurately predicted the first three teams to be eliminated and, in about 30-mins time, will no doubt be right again as Rob & Amber are slated to get the boot on tonight’s show!

Don’t feel like waiting for the end of the season to find out who wins? Find out who the winners of the Amazing Race All Stars are, after the jump!

Heroes Episode 19 “.07” Preview

Unfortunately our friends over at NBC seem to think going on hiatus is a great way to build suspense, which certainly explains the cliffhanger ending in Heroes episode 18 “Parasite”, but still doesn’t excuse the fact that we’re all going to have to wait until April 23rd for another episode of Heroes!

Heroes episode 19 “.07” will be the beginning of the end for Volume one of, what has been, one of the best TV series in recent memory.Unfortunately the series is only 23 episodes long, and as much as I wish it were longer, I really want to see how everything ties together and comes to an end.

So, since we’re going to be going without the best show on TV for another seven weeks, I’m going to try and spread my spoiler and preview posts out so people don’t lose interest in the show, though I highly doubt that will happen. Albeit, this first Heroes episode 19 “.07” preview video is short, it certainly provides some insight into what we can expect to see when the series returns on April 23rd. Enjoy!

NBC Heroes Recap – Episode 18: “Parasite”
March 5th, 2007 – Just as I thought it would be, tonight’s episode was a good one. Though not as action packed and mind blowing as episode 17, tonight’s episode definitely shed some light on different areas and the Heroes stories are all really starting to come together. Have I mentioned lately how much I love this show? If I have, it still hasn’t been enough. Heroes is, without a shadow of a doubt, the single best show on TV right now, and that really is something coming from a reality TV junky like me. The sad fact is that I’m a great deal more entertained by the creativity and innovation behind Heroes than I am that of any reality TV series. Reality TV is becoming stagnant with old and played out ideas and is in dire need of a serious change.

But enough of that nonsense. NBC Heroes episode 18 “Parasite” was chalk full of gooey awesomeness and bursting with tasty surprises, so lets get down to business. Find out what went down in episode 18, after the jump!

Heroes Episode 18 “Parasite” Preview and Spoilers

What can I say, I have a new found love for the people behind Global TV in Canada. The fact that we are privileged enough to get to see Heroes before anyone else is just plain awesome and it sure cuts down on the competition for having recaps done first. 🙂

Anyway, enough of the pointless gloating, lets get down to business. Heroes episode 17 “Company Man” was one for the ages and, without a doubt, the single best episode of the series thus far. Its going to be really hard to top last weeks episode, but I think this week should come pretty close, for a few key reasons: Hiro is finally going to get his hands on the illusive samurai sword – but will he keep it?; Mohinder and Sylar are going to make even more progress with “the list” but its going to cost them – big time; D.L. is finally going to clue in to things not being right with Niki; Isaac is going to paint yet another picture – only this one will be more horrifying than ever before; A new Heroes character, Missy Peregrym, played by Candice Wilmer, will make an appearance; Simone, who everyone thought to be dead, will come back to life! No doubt revealing her powers as a Hero and last but most certainly not least, the true identity of Mr. Linderman will be revealed and he’ll meet up with Nathan in some capacity!

With all that put out there, you know Heroes episode 18 “Parasite” is going to be good! For an even closer look into Heroes episode 18, including sneak peak videos and spoilers, check out whats after the jump!

NBC Heroes episode 17 Recap: “Company Man”

February 25th, 2007 – Oh. My. God. Wow! I know I have said this a number of times in the past, and I can almost guarantee that I will say it again in the future, but that was by far the absolute best episode of the series to date. I knew episode 17 of NBC’s hit TV show Heroes was going to be good, but I had no idea it was going to be that good. Tonight’s episode offered insight into so many things, I’m still trying to figure out how everything connects. I really am overwhelmed at the sheer magnitude of information that was revealed in episode 17, it was fantastic.

From what I can tell, Heroes episode 17 was only aired on Canada and/or on Global TV, so anyone that isn’t in Canada and/or doesn’t have Global TV won’t get to see the amazing episode until the usual time, tomorrow night. Having that kind of a jump on everyone else is awesome, especially when the episode was so damn good.

Hiro and Hiro’s father make an appearance and are tied into the HRG and Claire storyline; Claude shows up and we find out what role he played in HRG’s past; Matt changes his mind and his alliance; Ted runs into troubles; Claire reveals all and so, so much more happens in episode 17 of NBC Heroes.

Find out what happened in Heroes episode 17 “Company Man”, after the jump!

Heroes Episode 17 “Company Man” Spoilers

It has been a busy week for the cast of NBC’s hit TV show Heroes and things are only going to get busier from now on. Episode 16 ended with a bang, literally, as Simone, played by Tawny Cypress, was shot (and from what we can tell) killed by still obsessed lover boy Isaac; Peter has really started to learn how to control his powers; Claude got pissed and took off; Hiro managed to use his powers to save himself and later ditched Ando and, most importantly, Ted Sprague, Matt and new Heroes cast member Hana managed to corner HRG and family. How exciting!

The Heroes cast also made an appearance at a GM fashion/car show over the last week. Check out the pictures over at PinkIsTheNewBlog.

The excitement of episode 16 has been and gone, but Heroes episode 17 “Company Man” is already building up to be a stellar episode.

It’s official, NBC has decided to trim the fat (pun intended) and has dropped Caroline Rhea as host of the Biggest Loser 4. NBC has dropped Biggest Loser seasons 1, 2 and 3 host Caroline Rhea is favor of a new, shinier, sportier model, complete with new host scent, Alison Sweeney.

NBC gave the usual line, saying that she is leaving to “pursue other interests”, which in the TV world translates to, “we fired her ass.” While the executive producer of the show, Ben Silverman, took a bit more of a direct and honest approach and said Alison Sweeney “will bring not only a great fresh face but (also) a huge, loyal fan base” to the show. Apparently people still watch soap opera’s and actually give a damn about the “actors”? That’s news to me.

I’m personally a fan of Caroline Rhea as the host of the Biggest Loser, that’s not saying I’m a fan of hers in any other context, since I’m not, but I think she was a good fit for the show. However, after the debacle that was the Biggest Loser 3 season finale, I can understand why NBC decided it was time for her to “pursue other interests.”

Alison Sweeney, the new host of the Biggest Loser 4, comes to us straight from the gutter of the TV world, also known as soap operas. Not only does she come from the single worst genre in the history of TV, she comes from the absolute worst soap opera of all time, Days of our Lives. Though she apparently knows exactly what it’s like to be fat, since she wrote a book about her experiences as a big girl after ballooning up to a massive size 12! Yeah, that’s right, a size 12… I got news for you folks, only in TV land is size 12 considered massive. One of Caroline Rhea’s butt cheeks is bigger than that for Christs sake.

The Biggest Loser has always been one of my favorite reality TV shows and it is one of the few that is truley inspirational and motivational for people, so I really hope they don’t screw things up by letting some soap opera star host it. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

Production for the Biggest Loser 4 is set to begin sometime this spring.
