The last week has been a rough one for The Apprentice 6: LA host Donald Trump, though he couldn’t seem to care less. The Donald appears to be to preoccupied with his petty, pointless feud with Rosie O’Donnell and Barbara Walters to realize that things with the show aren’t going as fantastic as he would like them to be.

Personally, judging by episode 1, I think this season has the potential to be fantastic, but the premier episodes ratings were certainly no indication of that.

The Apprentice 6: LA News

• The season premier of The Apprentice 6: Los Angeles bombed out in the ratings department, offering up the worst premier ratings in the series’ 6 season run. Not only did the Apprentice come in a sad third place for it’s time slot, but it was beaten out by the likes of Desperate Housewives and Cold Case, two absolutely horrible and worn out shows. Could these be the signs on things to come? Will the Apprentice 6 be a bomb? I sure hope not. [PerezHilton]
• The Donald gets slapped almost as hard as Rosie would like to be able to lay one on him. Joseph Hewett, a 49-year old Apprentice hopeful is suing Donald Trump for age discrimination. Apparently he’s not a big fan of the fact that shows like the Apprentice base their casting a lot on a contestants age. Problem is, with the amount of other reality TV shows that have age restrictions in their contracts, I doubt anything will come of this. Trump will most likely throw him a few bucks to make his go away. [New York Post]
• Martin Clarke, the apprentice hopeful who was fired in episode 1 of the Apprentice 6: LA has started a website in the hopes of getting the Donald’s attention and getting another shot on the show, or at least so he says. What he’s really trying to do is use his pitiful performance on the show and annoying character to milk his 15-minutes of fame for as long as humanly possible. Originally I thought he created the site to try and drive traffic and make ad money, but I don’t see any ads, unless he’s got deals worked out elsewhere. Either way, he’s off the show, good riddance. • The Apprentice 4 winner Randal Pinkett has fulfilled his contract with Trump, but has been re-hired to stay on with the organization. I liked Randal, he did a great job on the show and obviously Trump seems to think so as well. Randal will stay on as a spokesperson for the Trump Institute and will also help with the Youth Apprentice Program. Good job Randal! [Reality Blurred]

Home video of a future challenge on the Apprentice 6, featuring Aaron, James and Stephanie has appeared online and offers some insight into a future challenge and possibly who will be sticking around a while longer. The Apprentice 6: Los Angeles - Episode 1 Recap

January 7th, 2007 - Sunday’s long awaited episode of The Apprentice 6: Los Angeles, was the 90-minute season premier of the Donald Trump run series, and it was a good one.

Things are a little different this time around, the most obvious of which is the location. Instead of taking place in New York, like usual, this season will be 100% L.A., and it’s about damn time! This season will also be airing on Sunday’s at 9:00pm, so set your clocks.

Now, enough of this pointless rambling, let’s get into the meat of this thing! I can already tell I am really going to like this season. The premier was awesome.

Last night was the season premier of the Apprentice 6: Los Angeles, and even though I took notes through out the entire episode, because it aired at 9:30 and didn’t end until 11:00, I didn’t want to stay up until 12:30 assembling my recap. As such, a recap for episode 1 of the Apprentice 6: LA, will be posted later today when I get home from work.

Sorry for the delay folks, but it’ll be worth it since it was a great season premier. I think this is going to be a very good season!

Last night Heroes superstar Masi Oka, better known as Hiro Nakamura, was on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno as a guest, along with Justin Timberlake. Masi offered some insight into the upcoming January 22nd return episode of Heroes, entitled “Godsend”, and even aired a special preview clip of the upcoming episode!

Masi also talked about being on the cover of Time Magazine as a “whiz kid” when he was 8, how he came to the USA and what his mother thought about him leaving a very successful computer programming career with George Lucas’ production company to become an actor.

The return episode of NBC’s hit TV series Heroes is going to be fantastic, don’t miss it!

For the first time in the series 6 season history, NBC has released a full 24-minute preview of the first episode of The Apprentice 6. The preview gives us good insight into what we can expect from the January 7th 90-minute season premier.

The Apprentice 6 is pitting 18 highly talented and very well established contestants against one another for the much sought after grand prize, a chance to work for “The Donald” himself, Mr. Donald Trump.

Naturally, the 24-minute preview that NBC has so graciously provided for our viewing pleasure cuts off just as Trump gets down to the firing portion of the show, but it’s more than enough to give the average viewer a feel for how things might pan out.

I’ve only seen the 24-minute episode 1 preview and already I know I’m going to dig this season. I’ve already picked out the super spunky internet entrepreneur James as my potentially favorite contestant. Of course, I’ll have to catch at least the entire first episode of The Apprentice 6 before I’ll be able to make any decisions to that effect.

Don’t forget, the Apprentice 6 kicks off in full on Sunday, January 7th with a 90-minute season premier extravaganza at 9:30/8:30c. Don’t miss it!

Jared over at JustJared.com has come up with a few interesting details about the upcoming January 22nd return episode of NBC’s Heroes, titled “Godsend.”

According to Jared, the return episode of Heroes will see Masi Oka aka Hiro Nakamura, set out in search of a “sacred object” - his samurai sword. As if Hiro finally going after his samurai sword isn’t cool enough, we’ll be meeting a new character too! Claude, played by Christopher Eccleston of Dr. Who fame plays an invisible man. Tim Kring, the man behind NBC’s Heroes sensation, had the following to say about the new Claude character: “He’s been living with his invisibility for many years and has come to grips with it, so he’ll give us a different view into this hero world. He’s big, imposing and charismatic, and will become a mentor to Peter — albeit a tough, reluctant and stern one. He’ll help Peter learn to use and control his powers.” Sweeeet!

And the goodness doesn’t stop there my friends! If you read the Heroes Graphic Novel on the NBC website, then you know doubt have realized we may be in store for yet another new character! Hana, who - rumor has it - will be played by Jessalyn Gilsig of Nip/Tuck, may be stepping up to take the place of Eve, who recently splattered her own brains on the wall in an effort to prevent Sylar from taking her powers. Apparently she seems to fall into Eve’s roll willingly, as well, so she wasn’t forced into being a henchmen by Claire’s father, the evil Dr. guy. Sadly, though, her power will pale in comparison to Eve’s. Hana will allegedly possess the power to act like a human computer network, with the ability to send text messages and emails with mind power, along with being able to listen in on any phone conversation at her will. I have to say, Eve’s mind control was a way cooler power, but Hana could certainly prove useful.

I’m getting more and more excited with every story and rumor I read. The January 22nd return of NBC’s hit TV series Heroes is going to be fantastic, and the “Godsend” title return episode will no doubt prove to be aptly named after a nearly 2-months hiatus.

According to the good folks over at Reality Blurred, Jeff Probst let slip in a recent interview with the AP that the next installation of the hit reality TV series Survivor: Fiji will kick off in February!

Now, I have to admit, I am very skeptical about this actually happening. There has been no official word from CBS on a February start date, the casting call for Survivor: Fiji was put out only a short time ago and there isn’t even a Survivor: Fiji in existence just yet, so, needless to say, I have my reservations.

I have to say, I most certainly wouldn’t be disappointed if they could get another Survivor season into swing so quickly, but I’m not holding my breath.

In the meantime, I’ll stick to reading all the gossip and rumors still circulating around Survivor Cook Islands. It was one of the best season yet, in my opinion, and was far from short of interesting events. Besides, I don’t think Survivor: Fiji will be able to come up with someone capable of matching Cook Islands Playboy Foursome Star Ozzy.

Masi Oka, better known as Hiro Nakamura on NBC’s hit TV show Heroes, has landed himself a movie deal!

No doubt due in large part to the huge success of the Heroes TV series, Oka has been cast for the Robert Luketic movie 21.

21 is based on the Ben Mezrich book “Bringing Down The House: The Inside Story of Six M.I.T Students Who Took Vegas for Millions.” The movie and book are both based on a true story that is incredibly well known in the blackjack and gambling world.

Six M.I.T students, along with a former math instructor, all worked together by using disguises, secret signals and a skill that will get you thrown out of any casino, or worse, know as card counting to take a number of Las Vegas casinos for nearly $4-million. At that time scamming, especially at Blackjack, for that much money was unheard of.

The movie, without a doubt, should prove to be a good one. I’m a huge fan of Heroes, love gambling and love Masi Oka, so I’ll certainly be checking it out.

On another Heroes note, don’t forget, Masi Oka will be on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno tomorrow night, where he’ll reveal some juicy tidbits about the series return on January 22nd!
