Ozzy Osbourne to be played by Christopher Walken in Motley Crue Movie

Wow! Is all I can say about this.

In what has to be the coolest thing I have read all day long, two of my favorite people are converging into one awesome super person! I’m not a huge Motley Crue fan, but this is reason enough to make me want to see this movie.

Faith Hill Doesn’t Like to Lose

Last night was the Country Music Association Awards and, not to be out done by the MTV Europe Awards, the CMA’s had their own bit of drama. Albeit, not to the point of Kanye getting on stage and throwing a fit, but Faith Hill certainly made her displeasure clear.

Faith was up for “Female Vocalist of the Year” and must have thought she had it in the bag, as her reaction to the award going to American Idol Carrie Underwood was priceless. She quite clearly screams “What?!” The best part, of course, is the fact that it was all caught on video. Got to love those cameras.

Don’t believe me? Watch Faith freak after the jump.

Further Proof that Mickey Rourke Rocks!

Mickey Rourke has never been one to shy away from making his feelings known, and man did he ever make his feelings about Tom Cruise known.

Rourke, star of the hit movie Sin City, recently tore a strip off Tom Cruise for his stance and much publicized scrutiny of psychiatry, calling him, among other things, a “cunt”.

Rourke credits his psychiatrist, who he sees on a regular basis, with not only saving his career, but his life as well. Rourke frequently discusses his irrational dislike of certain actors, which has resulted in him turning down a number of roles, with his psychiatrist.

Find out exactly what Rourke had to say, after the jump.

Warning: Rourke likes profanity… a lot.

Steve Irwin Wanted to be played by Eric “The Hulk” Bana

Though some people don’t seem to be big fans of Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, The Hulk, Eric Bana, is. Or at least the Crocodile Hunter was a big fan of The Hulk.

Irwin’s best friend and producer, John Stainton, told the people at Extra that Steve was so impressed with fellow Aussie Bana’s work in “Munich” that “He raced up to Eric on the red carpet and said “Eric, you gotta promise me one thing mate … you gotta play me when I die.”

Though no movie is in the works as of yet, Stainton said, “If we ever did make a movie I would have to get Eric Bana and try to honor that.”

No comments have been made by Eric Bana as of yet, but, a life and times style movie about Steve Irwin is almost a guaranteed project at some point, so it’s only a matter of time. I just hope Bana will be willing to honor Steve’s request to play him.

BC Ferries Money at Work

Not more than four days after I wrote about BC Ferries raising fares, they prove yet again how well they are making use of our money.

At about 8:00pm tonight (technically last night now), one of the smaller ferries that makes runs to the gulf islands broke down just outside the Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal and could not be started again.

I caught this story on Global TV News just a few hours ago and it turns out the ferries engine broke down, couldn’t be started again and, though no other damage was reported, 50+ passengers were stranded on the boat for a number of hours as the ferry had to remain anchored in Horseshoe Bay. As of the 11:00pm news report, the ferry, along with all its passengers, were still floating in Horseshoe Bay.

Thanks again to the good people at BC Ferries for proving my point once more. Keep raising your fares and lowering your quality of service, it really is a pleasure to be able to help line your pockets and cover the cost of your new Mercedes. I hope you enjoy it!

Episode 8 kicks off the next leg of the race with all teams heading for Antananarivo, Madagascar, where each team must locate the “black angel”. Survivor Cook Islands Recap and Info: Peanut Butter and Potatoe Sandwich

Tonight’s episode of Survivor Cook Islands kicks off with both teams receiving an interesting piece of treemail. Not only did the mail include the usual letter, but it also included a catalog of various different items, ranging from peanut butter to a sewing kit. It turns out the winner of tonight’s reward challenge gets to go home with two items of their choosing from the catalog. Naturally, both teams are thinking foods, thinking energy and thinking carbs. One team chooses peanut butter and bread, while the other chooses peanut butter and potatoes. Maybe not the best combo, but definitely a good source of protein and carbs, which mean energy, something every survivor needs.
