Kyle XY Season 2 Episode 19

Through a series of half truths and lies, Taylor managed to convince Jessi she couldn’t trust anybody but him in Kyle XY Season 2 Episode 18. Not much else happened, but in the end, Adam Baylin came back.

Adam gives Kyle a lesson about how the body heals. Greater control over the brain means greater ability to heal, and faster, too. They start practicing by separating oil and water.

Kyle wants to know why he’s not the only one like he originally thought. Taylor acted on his own when he continued the experiment to create Jessi, and nobody knew, not even Latnok, who doesn’t approve of what he did. They’re hoping that Kyle will be able to take care of her. Adam knows that Taylor will push her too hard, and that she won’t know when to stop. Back at Taylor’s place, Jessi’s working and hooked up to machines. Despite the screens flashing red and her bleeding nose, she doesn’t want to take a break.

Kyle accidentally cuts himself with a razor. He takes this opportunity to try to test what he’s learned, but he’s not quite at that stage yet.

Kyle heads over to Jessi’s place and climbs in her window like she does when she visits him. He tells her he wants to make it up to her for not being there for her lately. With the information that they may be able to find out more about Sarah Emerson, Jessi’s willing to go along to the unversity with him. They find out all this great information about her, but as could be expected, they find out that she’s got some skeletons in her closet, as she was busted for sabotaging a chemistry final and vandalized the lab.

Andy wants to play doctor with Josh. Except she doesn’t mean she wants him to diagnose that he’s concerned that she’s sick. He’s too worried about her test the next day that will tell her whether she’s still got cancer or not. She’s more worried about finding a diversion.

Declan is bored and restless. He’s even studying.

Kyle and Jessi go to investigate why the final was cancelled. Sarah made a Latnok symbol on the ceiling, and in it was the answers to the test. Even the professors couldn’t help being impressed, so they just left it there.

They’re also at the school to try to hack some computer software. Jessi’s primary concern here is who wins and who’s the best. She hacks it first, then she takes it a step further and locks Kyle out so he can’t.

Josh and Andy sit down for a counseling session with Nicole, in which they bring up phrases like makeout level. She suggests they share secrets with each other. Her real name is not Andrea… it’s Andromeda. He makes fun of the name, and she reponds by making fun of the O-Town poster he had over his bed until he was 8. Nicole throws him out so she can talk to Andy. Andy tells her she’s sick of people watching over her and making sure she’s not doing anything wrong.

Jessi and Kyle head to see the pool hall, where they learn Sarah allegedly set a world record. Of course, doing this appeals to Jessi. While she’s playing, Kyle hears a story from Mark (the guy Lori pepper sprayed) about how Sarah went crazy because she was obsessed with being the best at everything. Kyle’s got a plan. He asks Jessi to play against him, since she refuses to leave. Just as Kyle’s about to win, Jessi uses her powers to cheat and move the ball.

Lori, Hillary, and Amanda also show up there, so they can talk to a DJ about playing at the prom. Lori bumps into Mark and asks nicely that he don’t rat her out to her father, but this eventually just ends in a threat to kick his ass. Lori returns to the bathroom where the other girls have decided to hide until the DJ shows up in order to avoid being carded, but Lori is too disgusted after finding out that a bunch of college girls want to jump her father, so she decides to leave. Not content with merely cheating once, Jessi wants to cheat again, this time causing her nose to bleed. Kyle insists they leave, which causes another guy to try to punch him. He easily stops the punch but doesn’t want to fight. Declan, however, is all for it and throws a punch. During the chaos, Lori finds out that Mark’s actually the DJ they’re looking for, and that he doesn’t do proms. They drag Hillary out of there, and Kyle grabs Amanda. In the process, Jessi cuts her hand on some glass, but she’s able to heal the wound. Kyle warns her that if she doesn’t stop, she’ll end up just like Sarah.

Nicole challenges Josh to a game of G-Force. She has no clue what the game’s about, but she manages to kill him after she mentions that she just got done showing Andy pictures of his third birthday party, where he was naked. She tells him he needs to be the fun loving guy again.

Kyle returns to Adam with news of what happened. Adam tells him that Sarah was falling apart, and that he left because he couldn’t handle it.

When he gets home, Kyle tells Andy everything is going to be okay and gives her a hug, apparently taking Josh’s suggestion to heal Andy’s cancer in the process.

Jericho Season 2 Episode 2

Following a lengthy hiatus that included being cancelled, Jericho returned last week. Jake and Eric wanted revenge for their father’s death, but some convincing from Major Beck coerced them into not being able to follow through with that. Some more of the back story of what’s happened also unfolded, and now Hawkins is trying to figure out a way to stop Cheyenne, a corrupt power which is close to combining the western half of the country and overtaking everything.

Mimi wakes up to a rose and a note telling her to go outside. Stanley’s prepared her a breakfast to celebrate her first day on the job with Jennings & Rall, the company that tried to screw him over. He’s happy that things are starting to get back to something resembling normal. Just then, a helicopter lands on his lawn. The President wants to address the nation from his front porch.

Sheriff Jake is not quite sure what he’s supposed to be doing as far as keeping order, since the Secret Service is swarming the place and all.

Hawkins and Chavez are working on a plan to change history. Either that or get themselves killed.

The President will be arriving a couple hours ahead of schedule, giving them even less time to prepare. To make matters worse, Beck sends Chavez out on patrol, so Darcy offers to steal the walkie talkie her husband needs.

History has been completely rewritten by the new government. Emily (who’s supposed to teach from the new textbooks) doesn’t like it, but Gray doesn’t care.

Darcy steals the walkie talkie as planned. Nobody notices but Jake, who’s busy checking out a database that’s quick to condemn people. He goes to confront Hawkins, and while there, he’s stopped by someone who wants to search him to find the missing walkie talkie.

Hawkins walks right into the location intended to serve as the security for the President and starts killing people. Real secure. He sits himself down at a computer and begins downloading. Eventually, Jake realizes this was all just a distraction. Limited staff at this office, since everybody was scrambling to find the walkie talkie, meant easy access to the information.

A reporter from California is telling Jake the way things are now. He only reports what he’s allowed to report, and nobody wants to hear the truth any more anyway.

Chavez gets busted by Beck, not entirely a surprise to him, and he tells Jake to go find Hawkins. Unbeknownst to Jake, Chavez gave the password for the files to him. They find out the bomb is an ex-Soviet nuke. With Chavez out of the picture, they need to figure things out on their own. Jake thinks the reporter may be interested, so he discusses it with him, and since it’s the biggest story in American history (but perhaps too big), he does seem like he wants to take the risk. It’s not long, though, before the reporter is dead of a “heart attack.”

Jake wants answers, but Hawkins tells him he’ll never get them and that they’re just lucky the reporter’s dead so he can’t give them up.

The new government, which assumed power without public support or input, plans to ratify a new Constitution as the Allied States of America.

Chavez’s information comes back showing he’s assumed the identity of a dead soldier. Beck tries to get in touch with the people who are transporting him, but that won’t be easy since they’re all dead. It turns out Jake gave him something to pick the lock on his handcuffs.

Gray didn’t say anything at the President’s speech, but he tells Eric that when he goes to the convention, he will ask questions. He also asks Eric to be the mayor while he’s gone.

Beck is informed by his boss that his job will be to find Sarah and that he’ll be replaced as far as day-to-day operations.

Jennings & Rall tried to trace Mimi’s family at Stanley’s request. They found nothing, but she’s okay with that since she’s got a new family now.

Jake suggests things with Beck are getting pretty dicey. It’s about to get worse. Now Ravenwood’s in charge.

Stay tuned to dingoRUE for another live recap of Jericho Season 2 episode 3 Jennings & Rall, which airs Tuesday at 10/9c on CBS.

Prison Break Season 3 Episode 13

Everybody got out and started running in Prison Break Season 3 Episode 12. Bellick, Lechero, and T-Bag made it all of about 20 feet. Scofield, Whistler, Mahone, and McGrady made it outside the fence. McGrady’s with his father, and we’re waiting to see how they get past the police blockade. Whistler faked an injury and then took off, just in time to prevent Lincoln from killing Mahone.

As Whistler takes off, a chase ensues. He gets a cell phone from a pedestrian and calls Susan, just in time for Lincoln to start punching and kicking him.

McGrady and his father are approaching a police blockade. They stop and ask him some questions. McGrady hides, and his father pretends he doesn’t know anything. They demand to inspect the car.

Sucre’s being tortured back at Sona, but it’s not getting them anywhere.

Michael and Susan talk on the phone. He tells her he wants to meet in 10 minutes, alone. So she rounds everyone up.

Sona’s a free-for-all. There’s plenty of looting and violence for to go around. As Lechero’s being beaten up, T-bag insists on helping him, even though Bellick would rather leave him for dead.

Mahone makes his way into a bar for a club soda. Interesting strategy for someone running from the man.

Sucre’s brought outside and given a shovel so he can dig his own grave. He starts digging.

Susan meets Michael. She suggests he should be on the same side with the Company, since they pay well. He’s got Whistler; she has Sofia and LJ. It’s not time to exchange them, though. Michael isn’t interested in doing that just yet. He just wants to make sure everybody’s alive.

McGrady’s father has fertilizer in the back of his truck. They let him go. After they drive away, McGrady crawls through a hidden compartment behind the seat.

Lechero and Bellick are both trying to convince T-Bag to get lost and stop risking his life for Lechero. T-Bag believes the guards have a price.

LJ finds the concept of Susan thinking she can outsmart Scofield to be amusing. He leads them to a building with metal detectors. Inside, they make the exchange. Everybody else is ready to just walk away, but Sofia demands that he give the coordinates. Susan reveals that there are no coordinates. James wants Sofia to come with him, but she’s not real thrilled with the idea. Susan, meanwhile, expects Michael to just walk into a trap, but he knows she’s got shooters ready at each exit, so he makes an alarm go off so that everybody will go outside together.

Sucre’s done digging his grave. He lies down as the guard demands. Then they start burying him alive.

Once they get the money, T-Bag reveals his true intent. He’s not trying to help Lechero. He wants to take the money and kill him. Lechero hands him a pillow, which he uses to smother him to death.

At the exit, Susan and Whistler are stopped by the guards, since Michael’s planted evidence on them. One of Susan’s goons comes up and shoots. He’s shoved out of the way, and his misfire hits Sofia. Lincoln refuses to leave her there, which should be an indication to her and to Whistler which side is the right side. LJ agrees to stay with her so that Lincoln can run.

Whistler has some bad news for Susan. The book is gone.

McGrady and his father stop for a homecoming party.

Once he’s all the way buried, the guards finally realize that burying Sucre isn’t going to work. Once they unbury him, the phone rings, and Sucre’s told he has to find out where they are if it’s Scofield, which it is. After finding out how everybody is, he drops the phone and breaks it, daring the guard to kill him.

T-Bag makes an announcement in the middle of the yard. He tells everybody that Lechero is dead and gives a speech about how everybody is equal. Then he holds up a fistful of cash, which he starts throwing around to the other prisoners.

Sucre’s not dead. He’s just a prisoner in Sona now.

LJ gives Michael a paper rose that he’d left for Sara back when they were in Fox River.

From her hospital bed, Sofia whispers to LJ that she found something under Whistler’s bed. Lincoln isn’t interested, but Scofield. They find some papers with the name Jason Lief. Michael doesn’t want to just get away. He wants revenge. While Lincoln heads off to the hospital to see Sofia, Michael goes to hunt down Susan.

Whistler shows up at the bar with Susan, and he’s there to get Mahone, who says he’s in. In the process, Mahone also suggests that Susan’s the weak link, and if that’s the case, Scofield will find them.

At this point, Prison Break has neither been officially cancelled nor renewed. Hopefully they pick it up for a fourth season, as there’s still obviously more left to the story. Stay tuned to dingoRUE for continued coverage.

Kyle XY Season 2 Episode 18

Despite their best efforts, the kids all got busted for hiding Amanda at their house in Kyle XY Season 2 Episode 17. However, they did get away with hiding Kyle’s secret from a “social worker,” who in the end we found out was actually someone sent to the house by Latnok.

Amanda’s being forced by her mother to get a job to make her more responsible. So of course, she gets a job where Josh works. Kyle walks in and tells Amanda he wants to be her first, a statement which Josh suggests he amend. She rings up the order incorrectly, and he just pretends it right, so he ends up with a kiwi-strawberry-lime smoothie. Josh gets left in charge because “nothing ever happens on Sunday.” Immediately after that, the blender blows. It turns out the avocado is not a big lime, and the avocado seed is what caused the problem with the blender.

Taylor tells Jessi he doesn’t want her to see Kyle any more. He’s playing with her mind trying to convince her she can’t count on anybody but him. She goes to visit Nicole, who after what she heard last week about getting too close to her patients, is afraid to help her out, either as a patient or as a friend.

Andy shows up to get some money from Josh for concert tickets. He agrees to pay for the overpriced band he doesn’t like in order to live to feel her up another day.

Then Lori comes in, and she gets Kyle to thinking about taking the next step. Amanda calls him in the storage room, but she just wants something from the top shelf. It does give them a chance to talk, though. When they come out of the storage room, the place is swamped. Apparently, Sunday’s not so slow after all. Kyle volunteers to help.

Jessi walks in and wants to help Kyle. She’s able to figure out what’s wrong with the smoothie machine. Amanda isn’t happy to see her. While speaking of jealous girlfriends, Declan walks in with a girl.

The register’s short $120, and Josh blames Amanda for being careless and leaving the drawer open and walking away. Josh says $120 is exactly how much he gave for the concert tickets, but that he’s not at fault. Amanda suggests it was a customer, maybe Jessi. Josh wants Kyle to figure out a way to fix things, since they’ll both be fired if he doesn’t.

Amanda’s so sure she’s got Jessi figured out and tells her she should give back the money. Jessi’s response is that maybe she should call her mom again and tell her she’s there hanging out with Kyle. That should certainly smooth things over.

Josh has a brilliant idea. He’s opening soda bottles hoping to win a prize. Kyle convinces him to stop because 1 in 20 odds are not good. Right after he stops, a customer buys a drink, and she wins $50.

While at The Rack, a guy spilled coffee in Lori, so she responded by throwing her coffee on him. He follows her home, so she assaults him with pepper spray, only to find out it’s her father’s TA.

With everything going on, Kyle asks Jessi to wait a while longer for him. She’s mad and leaves. As he’s running after her, Amanda wants him to just let her go. Declan tells Kyle to just play along so he can move on to the makeup… hugs.

Kyle can’t make money, but he can access his holographic memory to find out what happened. He figures out the cash was missing before it was even put in the register. It turns out Josh’s boss, JT, was the one who counted the money. Andy returns with front row seats, which she got by saying she had cancer (she implied Josh has it, too), and reveals that she saw JT in line for tickets, which happen to cost $120.

Rather than follow Declan’s advice, Kyle goes with an effort to get Amanda to be okay with him hanging out with Jessi. This won’t end well. He asks Amanda to just trust her, which leads her to question why he can trust Jessi with his secrets but can’t trust her. So this time Declan advises him to tell her the truth.

Nicole calls Jessi to let her know she’s thinking about her. Brian answers the phone and pretends he’ll pass the message along. Jessi comes in and believes neither Kyle nor Nicole care about her, and he plays along with her.

Josh is still worried how he’s going to come up with the money, since if he blames his boss, it’s just his word that he’s got to go on. Andy comes up with the obvious solution: she scalps the tickets. When JT returns and counts the money, surprised it’s all there, Josh takes the opportunity to not so subtly accuse him of stealing the money.

Kyle tells Amanda the box is from Adam Baylin. She doesn’t understand. Yet. Now he wants to know something about her that he doesn’t know already. This may take a while.

Kyle gets a text message to meet at the warehouse. It’s not Foss, though. It’s Adam.

Stay tuned to dingoRUE for another recap of Kyle XY Season 2 Episode 19 First Cut Is the Deepest, which airs Monday at 8/7c on ABC Family.
