Heroes Returns To NBC

As we await Heroes Season 2, those people looking for a fix for your Heroes addiction can get a little something to hold you over. Now that the Age of Love winner has been announced and the season is over, Heroes will be shown in its regular time slot.

Starting next week, the cast will host their favorite episodes. We begin with episode 4, Collision. The following week, August 20, is episode 9, Homecoming.

Jessica Collins Joins Heroes Season 2

Jessica Collins, who played Lizzie Miller on The Nine, is the latest hero, and will have a regular role in Heroes season 2. She will play the role of Sophie, who is reportedly “a mysterious woman with powers of her own who works for an organization that’s keeping tabs on the heroes.”

Previously credited as Ava Collins and Jessie Collins, Jessica Collins has also had guest roles on CSI, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and Ghost Whisperer.

Of course, the constantly expanding number of heroes does mean that some of the lesser characters will be left out of some episodes, but it does allow for additional story development.

Heroes Season 2 Spoilers – Part 1

Production on Heroes season 2 began this past week (June 19) and already season 2 spoilers are starting to find there way online.

Heroes Season 2 Spoiler #1

Our first spoiler comes compliments of E! Online, who are a regular source for great Heroes spoilers. It looks like our cute little time-traveling-sword-wielding-Sylar-stabbing superhero Hiro Nakamura, played by Masi Oka, is going to find himself a special love interest while traveling in feudal Japan. More specifically, it looks like Hiro is going to fall for a princess in distress and a few episodes will be dedicated to Hiro and his new love interest in the feudal Japan era!

Would Hiro dare to risk potentially throwing the earths entire time line into turmoil by trying to bring his new found love interest back to the present day? We already know Hiro has to return to present day at some point, so his trip back could potentially impact the entire storyline of Heroes season 2.

Though the casting of Hiro’s love interest has yet to be confirmed by NBC television, Heroes creator Tim Kring or anyone else from the Heroes crew, early rumors are pointing to Riyo Mori landing the role of a lifetime. Named sound familiar? That’s most likely because Riyo Mori is none other than the 2007 Miss Universe!

I’m still not quite sure who got the better deal here: Riyo for scoring a fantastic role on a hit TV show, or Masi for scoring an awesome love interest that he will no doubt be scoring with himself, all in the name of “plot development”, of course.

Heroes Season 2 “Generations”

Heroes season 1 “Genesis” may have just come to an end, but there is still hope for all my fellow hopeless Heroes addicts of the world. According to a recent interview with the hit television show’s star Masi Oka (aka Hiro Nakamura), Heroes season 2 “Generations” is scheduled to commence filming on June 29th. Since season 2 is beginning filming so soon, rumor has it that we may just be in for a sneak peak of what’s in store for us come Comic Con this July in San Diego. Though these are only rumors at this point, I’m pretty sure Tim Kring and the rest of the Heroes crew will give us something to talk about come Comic Con, they did last time.

Looking back at previous posts like Watch NBC’s Heroes Online, For Free! and Watch Heroes Online: The Where and How, I noticed a number of similarities. It became blazingly apparent that people outside of the U.S., myself in Canada included, were getting the shaft from the lovely people at NBC. For whatever reason, NBC promoted the hell out of the fact that you could watch their television shows online, for free and in full, but failed to mention that you have to be located in the U.S. to be granted such a privilege, which strikes me as rather stupid since NBC’s hit TV shows like Heroes air all over the world. As such, a number of the dingoRUE readers made comments in search of online sites where one living outside the Unites States can watch Heroes online, for free, and in full.

Well, after a ton of digging, a whole lot of searching and even more mashing of the keyboard (okay, my friend and co-worker actually told me about the site), I was able to track down one of the best online TV sites I’ve ever seen. Not only can you watch NBC Heroes, you can watch full, free episodes of: 24, CSI, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Entourage, House, Lost, Nip/Tuck, The Office, Prison Break, The Riches, Scrubs and countless other incredibly popular TV shows. Best of all, from what I can tell (at least), people from all over the world can access, watch and enjoy every TV show the site has to offer!

Television fans of the world unite and rejoice in the awesomeness that is SurfTheChannel! Check the site out and you’ll never miss an episode of your favorite television series again. Enjoy!
