Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages, welcome to tonight’s main event. Heroes makes it’s triumphant return tonight, airing the first of only five remaining episodes in the first season.
A great deal of people have been waiting for this day for this day to come since the show left on it’s second hiatus some seven weeks ago. Rest assured, Heroes episode 19 is going to be worth the wait and there will be no more breaks until the hit TV series comes to an end.

- Things kick off with a recap of Heroes episode 18 to give us a much needed refresher on where things left off.
- HRG is sitting in his cell at Primatech Papers where Claire storms in through the door, apologizing for getting caught… but it’s not Claire, it’s Candice the shape-shifter girl.
- Thompson (HRG’s) boss enters, tells Candice to get lost and has a chat with HRG. Thompson tells him the only reason he’s still around is their friendship. Thompson says he’s just waiting for the order to take out HRG.
- Nathan Petrelli and Linderman are walking through Linderman’s art collection, looking at all the pictures. Linderman says he cares about the world, he wants to save it, and for that he needs Nathan.
- Linderman reveals his powers to Nathan by healing a dead/dieing plant… He can heals things!!!!
- Matt is trapped in his cell at Primatech and is hearing HRG communicate with him through his thoughts. HRG is telling him that they’re just waiting for the order to kill them both and they’ll never see their families again.
- Linderman and Nathan focus in on a picture. Nathan recognizes Hiro from the picture and says he knows him. Linderman tells him to tell him to get his sword back.
- Linderman says the paintings represent a vision of peace and a brighter future. Nathan focuses in on the painting of New York in ruins and Lindermand says maybe that is his idea of a brighter future. Linderman tells Nathan about him and a group of Heroes that all worked together at one time, until some of the Heroes got greedy and left, using their powers for their own gain.
- Nathan says an explosion that big will wipe out NY and Linderman says it’s an acceptable loss, only 0.07% of the worlds population.
- Linderman pulls forward a picture and shows Nathan, standing in the white house. Linderman says Peter’s explosion will come the day after he is elected as mayor.
- Back to HRG and Matt. HRG is instructing Matt to try and break a rusted pipe in his cell to escape. Matt breaks the pipe free, knocks out a security guard that comes into the room, grabs his pass and heads into the hall.
- Peter enters Mohinder’s apartment, rerunning the end of episode 18. Peter looks up to see Mohinder trapped against the roof. Sylar appears, pins Peter against the wall and begins to cut his head open. Peter heals himself, kicks Sylar across the room and Mohinder falls to the floor. It’s battle time!
- Peter turns invisible and Sylar uses his powers to levitate a bunch of broken glass, shooting it all around the room. Peter is hit in the back of the head with a pieces and reappears, dead on he floor. He can’t heal himself when anything enters his brain. Sylar stalks towards him as Mohinder comes flying over from his side, hitting him with a painting and knocking him against the wall.
- Claire and Mrs. Petrelli in Manhattan. Mrs. Petrelli tells Claire Peter never knew about her being related to her. The only people that knew about her, other than Nathan, were Mr. and Mrs. Petrelli. Nathan thought Claire died in the fire, only Mrs. Petrelli decided not to tell him that she survived.
- Mrs. Petrelli is trying to ship Claire off to Paris to get here away from all the danger and to protect her. Mrs. Petrelli will take her to Paris herself and, when she’s old enough, she will make her own choice as to whether or not she wants to return.
- Back to Sylar in Mohinder apartment, who wakes up and freaks out when Mohinder and Peter are gone and the list is gone with them.
- Sylar picks up a picture off the floor and its of Isaac.
- In Isaac’s studio, Isaac is giving the last copy of 9th Wonders to a delivery boy to take to print. He also gives him a sneak peak into the comic and gives the delivery boy his sketch book to keep. He knows what’s going to happen.
- Jessica and DL are arguing outside the house about her involvement with Linderman. A couple of Lindermans guards show up and tell Jessica that Linderman wants to see her right away.
- Back at Primatech, Matt steals some clothes from a supply room and tries to find HRG. Thompson and an assistant walk by, saying the word has come and they are all to die. Matt opens Ted’s cell and tries to get him to come with him, but he refuses.
- Mohinder arrives at Mrs. Petrelli’s house and tells her he’s dead, killed by Sylar. Mrs. Petrellia tells Mohinder to leave and stares down at Peter’s body on her bed.
- Claire comes down the stairs and sees Peter and Mrs. Petrelli crying over his body.
- Jessica enters Linderman’s art room and is surprised to actually be greeted by Linderman himself.
- Linderman asks Jessica a favor. He asks to borrow Micah, or rather, his talent. Linderman needs Micah to help with his plan, since it has gone sideways lately. Jessica refuses to let Linderman have anything to do with Micah and tells him she’ll kill anyone he sends after for him.
- Matt and Ted are breaking out and following HRG’s instructions to escape. Ted emmits an EMP shock-wave and takes out the power for the entire building. Ted wants to take off, but Matt tells him they have to rescue HRG. Matt and Ted rescue HRG and leave.
- Nathan arrives at Mrs. Petrelli’s house and grabs Peter, hugging him and crying over his body, saying he isn’t supposed to die this way. He asks his mother what to do and she says to hide his body. Claire enters the room and wants to see Peter.
- Claire strokes Peters head and finds he shard of glass. She pulls the shard off glass from the back of his head and Peter comes back to life! Mrs. Petrelli and Nathan rush back into the bedroom. Peter tells Claire she saved his life, Claire says they’re even now.
- Peter holds the shard of glass that was just recently lodged in his brain, trying to decide what to do with it. Nathan and Peter have a chat about his regeneration powers and how he can’t die. Peter tells Nathan that Claire is the girl he saved in Texas, his daughter and everything is coming together. Everything that was supposed to happen has happened. Mrs. Petrelli enters the room and tells both of them that she knew long before either of them did. Nathan is shocked.
- Ted, HRG and Matt ar sitting in a diner, discussing what to do next. HRG wants to destroy the tracking system in NY. Matt tells HRG that Thompson wanted to send them to see Linderman and HRG doesn’t know Linderman was behind it all. They all agree to go to NY to destroy the tracking system.
- Jessica and Micah leave the house and are greeted by a group of Linderman’s guards, as Linderman steps out of a limo and greets Micah himself, asking him if he’s like to say the world today. Jessica is left standing on he curb as Linderman drives away with Micah. It wasn’t Jessica, it was the shape-shifter girl giving Micah to Linderman! WOW!
- Mohinder is back in his apartment talking to Thompson. He called HRG but Thompson came. Mohinder tells Thompson that he wants to stop Sylar. Thompson says the best way to stop Sylar is for them to work together.
- Isaac paints a new picture and Sylar comes up behind him. Isaac recognizes Sylar as the one who’s going to kill him. Isaac tells Sylar he’s seen the future and they stop him, he dies. Isaac looks at a gun on the table, Sylar uses his powers to throw it across the room. Sylar throw Isaac to the floor and pins him to the ground with paint brushes through his wrists and ankles. Isaac says his part is to die in the studio, with Sylar, showing the others how to stop the bomb. Sylar stands over Isaac and cuts his head.
- Nathan sits examining the sharp of glass. He cuts the wrapping off the painting of him in the white house and Claire enters the room. Nathan tells Claire that he wants to be there for her, but he can’t, not now. There are things happening that he can’t understand and he can’t get Claire involved in that. He wants Claire to go to Paris with Mrs. Petrelli so she is away and he can win the election without info of her being released. After the week goes by, she will return home to her new family.
- Sylar is in Isaacs studio, painting a new picture as Sylar lays dead on the ground. Hiro and Ando are in the future, standing on top of the Deveaux building loking out over a destroyed NY. Ando looks at Hiro’s back and he has the sword! Hiro and Ando will stay in the future to find out what they did wrong before returning to the past to make things right. Hiro and Ando go to Isaacs studio in he hopes that he may still be alive and they find pictures hung together in a timeline, all over the ceiling. Hiro comes face to face with Future Hiro! They both have their swords drawn! Present Hiro lowers his sword while future Hiro leaves his sword drawn and the screen fades to black.

Wow… that was awesome. Things are finally starting to come together, story lines are starting to merge together and everything is starting to make sense.
Heroes episode 20 is already looking to be amazing. The heroes will travel into the future five years for a glimpse of things that may be and trust me, things are grim. Stay tuned for Heroes episode 20 spoilers and a full live recap of next weeks episode!
