Prison Break Season 4 Episode 11

After meeting with the man who designed the security system for Scylla in Prison Break Season 4 Episode 10, they managed to figure out what they’re up against. They need to break through reinforced walls without breathing and in complete silence. Michael’s found out he needs surgery right away, which may well get in the way of their plans.

Sara calls the doctor, who can see Michael today. He’s given them his word that he won’t call the authorities. Michael agrees to her plan.

Lincoln thinks they can trust Gretchen. At least as far as the card is concerned anyway.

The company plans to protect Scylla with an armored truck, fighter planes, and whatever else they can get their hands on.

Michael gives them a breakdown of what they have to do. They have to break through two walls, one concrete, one glass, all without making a sound due to the microphones. As for the floor, it will detect an added load of just two pounds. To further complicate matters, they also can’t generate any kind of body heat due to the heat sensors.

Gretchen dresses like a school girl and sends the general a photo to lure him there. He comes to her, but he realizes she’s just looking for his card. After he pulls a gun on her, she tells him she’s the mother of his child and loves him. He leaves with a warning: he’ll shoot her on sight if he ever sees her again.

The heat sensors sound an alarm if anything with a temperature of over 90 degrees is present for more than 5 seconds. Mahone suggests getting their hands on some liquid nitrogen to regulate temperature.

T-Bag offers Trishanne $100 to take off just her jacket. She refuses. He ups it to $1,000. Still not interested. He’s convinced she’s a fed and an armed one at that. Considering he just passed up his boss’ offer of a cruise where he could probably make $50k, T-Bag’s not happy with the way things are going as far as Scylla.

Without the sixth card, trying to crack Scylla is pointless.

Fang pays Gretchen and T-Bag a visit. They ask for help.

As he prepares to go to the hospital, Michael’s concern is that he can’t live with himself if everybody else dies but he survives because he called in sick. When Lincoln shows up, he tells him he’s not going to the hospital. Sara gives him something that will get him through the next three hours, but she’ll be taking him to the hospital afterward, warning him that he can’t have any added mental or physical stress in the meantime.

T-Bag calls Gretchen from work. Trishanne is of course tapped into their chat. Gretchen’s received a call from another buyer, who may be willing to go to $200 million.

The first step is to break through the concrete wall with reinforced steel fibers, and once they get through that, they can see their goal. They build a platform to climb across and spray the liquid nitrogen to prevent the heat sensors from going off. As he’s crossing, Sucre has a close call, nearly falling to the ground, but Lincoln comes to rescue him as he’s dangling just above the ground.

Self and Trishanne show up at the address where the other buyer is supposed to be. He tells her to shoot them for pretty much any reason at all. Gretchen and T-Bag are nowhere to be found. Instead, Fang’s waiting for them.

Michael’s way has been paved to cross toward Scylla. As he’s doing this, he has flashes and fights to prevent himself from collapsing. This must be that physical and mental stress Sara was referring to. Michael cuts a hole in the glass wall, holding the piece that comes off with magnets. Once through the glass wall, he can touch the floor, which allows him to walk up to Scylla. When he touches it, the general is alerted and calls immediately for his team.

Lipstick Jungle Cancelled

Sophomore drama Lipstick Jungle has been cancelled by NBC. After struggling in NBC’s weak Wednesday lineup, the move to the Friday night deathslot made Lipstick Jungle’s cancellation a matter of time. Its latest Friday episode finished at 3.34 million viewers and 1.2/4 in the demo with a weak Crusoe lead in not helping it any. Its final Wednesday showing behind reliable Deal or No Deal was 4.19 million viewers with a 1.6/4 among adults.

My Own Worst Enemy Cancelled

Less than two months into the new season, freshman series My Own Worst Enemy has been cancelled. MOWE failed to gain any ground over (also cancelled) previous time slot occupant Journeyman and was down to just 4.25 million viewers and 1.8/5 in the demo in its latest showing, nearly half of what a slowing Heroes lead in managed. Whatever NBC puts in that time slot won’t work, unless they stick Deal or No Deal there.

Heroes Destiny Episode 1

The fans chose a new hero, Santiago, and now NBC is presenting this new hero in webisodes each Monday night. The first of four episodes premiered on Monday.

Cast Info
Columbian-born actor, Roberto Urbina, will bring the character to life. Urbina stars in a story created by the show’s award-winning writers and produced in collaboration with the series creators. Lina Esco (“Cane”) and Andrea Thompson (“24”) will also star in the innovative micro-series, being filmed on location in Los Angeles. Based on the Aspen Comics’ online illustrations which brought Santiago to life on NBC.com, the micro-series will be directed by Eagle Egilsson (“CSI: Miami,” “The Wire”).

Recap
Chapter 1 Let Us Pray starts on the streets of Barranco, Lima, Peru. A new hero, Santiago, is waiting to cross the street. When the light turns, he steps out in the street, and just as he’s about to get run over by a bus, he discovers he has powers. As everything goes into slow motion around him, he does a backflip, narrowly avoiding being run over.

When he arrives at church, his mother, Iris, tells him he’s directionless and needs purpose. Considering his new powers, he gets that now, although he’s not sure exactly what happened. Iris suggests that there’s a reason God saved him, and he needs to find that reason.

Either that or he just needs to find the pretty girl he just spotted across the street. With his newfound power, he’s able to catch up to her quite easily. Elisa says she was away at school but had to come back home after her father got sick. He suggests that the father was right in the sermon: they need to help each other.

A blonde woman’s been watching their discussion. Elisa tells her Santiago’s ready, receiving a response that she should get close to him. Then Elisa turns into water and disappears.

Heroes Season 3 Episode 8

Everybody decided it was time to visit Pinehearst in Heroes Season 3 Episode 7. At Angela’s request, Sylar went to help his brother Peter. Elle went there just wanting to be done with her powers no matter what, but Claire wasn’t quite as desperate as her to trust someone who just had Peter thrown out a seven story window. Nathan and Tracy are also making their way there.

Hiro’s starting his spirit walk, 18 months ago.

Arthur and Linderman are joined at the hip in their corruption. Arthur plans to have a talk with Nathan to get him to stop digging… either that or he’ll kill him.

Then we move ahead to one year ago, where we see Sylar preparing a noose. Then he’s silly enough to jump just as he hears Elle walking in, and she cuts him down with her powers. She’s there with HRG, who’s hiding in a van and waiting to get Sylar to use his power on someone.

Meredith’s been captured by the company, which wants to train her to be come an agent. Given the choice between agent or prisoner, she chooses agent.

Arthur’s discussion with Nathan lets him know he won’t get anywhere in convincing him to not continue his quest. As Nathan’s driving, a madman with some road rage comes up from behind him. Heidi is still in the wreck, but Nathan manages to fly out and save himself. He knows Linderman was involved, and he promises he’ll get him and that Arthur better make a choice or he’ll get his.

Arthur says Linderman wouldn’t dare go after Nathan on his own. Angela knows that’s true, but he denies any involvement.

When Elle arrives to see Sylar, he decides he wants to show her his power of telekinesis.

Meredith has managed to capture a villain as part of her training. When she arrives to imprison him, she sees her brother Flint. They told him they’d make him an agent, too, yet he’s in a cage.

Sylar tells Elle she makes him feel special, and that maybe he can just be Gabriel again. She doesn’t think he’s going to kill again. Good luck with that. HRG gives her an ultimatum. Either get Sylar to kill, or hit the streets on her own.

Angela sees Linderman and Arthur together and realizes what he’s up to. Lucky for him he’s got a nifty mind control power.

Meredith’s got a message for her brother: they’re tricking him because he’s dumb. She busts him out, and they go to the nearest train. A train which they must blow up because they’ve been followed. Flint escapes, but Meredith is back under their control. She blames the company for killing her baby girl. Only Claire ain’t dead, and the guy with Meredith decides to have some compassion and gives her a get out of jail free card.

Linderman’s got a message for Angela. Unlike Arthur, he tells her the truth.

Meredith has brought Sylar a playmate. Trevor has an ability, too. She gets Sylar to turn by saying that Trevor’s so special. To stop him from killing him, though, she uses her power on him. But she’s not strong enough to prevent him from using his power stealing ability. Elle feels guilty, but HRG is quite fascinated by what he’s watching on the monitors.

As Angela and Arthur are arguing, he collapses. Turns out the soup wasn’t his mother’s recipe after all.

Nathan gets home while his father’s still alive, but it’s not in time to save him, or so they’re told. The doctor’s just a front, working for Arthur. Arthur’s alive, just paralyzed and unable to speak.

Hiro has learned what he needs to on his spirit walk. Arthur’s still alive. The painter, however, isn’t. Then Arthur shows up and puts his hands on Hiro’s head, as he begins to scream.

Prison Break Season 4 Episode 10

A couple people bit the dust in Prison Break Season 4 Episode 9. First Mahone tossed a cement block holding Wyatt in the ocean. Then Bellick got trapped under the city’s water supply, sacrificing himself so that the others could be successful in stopping the company.

Self wants to keep Bellick a John Doe in the morgue on ice until he says otherwise. A revolt by the boys lets him know his body needs to go back to his mother.

Gretchen tells them that Scylla is being moved tomorrow. She sure seems to know about the company’s plans. So just which side is she on?

While trying to decipher the code in the bird book, they come to the conclusion they need David Baker. Whoever that is.

Trishanne mentions the name Whistler to T-Bag. A curious name for her to mention.

As everyone’s standing around talking, Michael all of a sudden collapses. He says he’s okay, but Sara insists on taking him to the hospital.

T-Bag wants to know a bit more about Trishanne. It turns out she got there a week before he did. He asks his boss if he can get a look at her application. The good news is that he probably can, but the bad news is that he wants him to step in for Andrew and show how good a salesman he is. Then Gretchen stops by to tell him that Scylla’s moving. The plan is to let Scofield go for it and risk his own neck, while they stay safe and either watch him get his hand bit off or be there when he gets Scylla.

The general is informed that dismantling the security system to Scylla is tricky and that it may take longer than planned to get it moved to PA. He’s got a plan to speed things up. He wants David Baker.

Mahone arrives to see David Baker and pretends he’s with the company.

As Lincoln and Sucre are working, they hear a noise. Lincoln lets Sucre know he’s standing on an explosive. He’ll be fine. As long as he doesn’t move.

Mahone tries to lie his way through his conversation with David Baker, but he’s not buying it.

Thinking that maybe Gretchen set them up, Lincoln grabs her and drags her downstairs.

With a little bit of identity fraud, Scofield gets some tests run. They want him to wait around for a couple hours and be admitted.

Mahone’s next attempt is the truth. He wants to guilt him into helping, but David doesn’t want to get involved in the politics. He seems to be getting somewhere, as the company barges in uninvited.

Gretchen comes to the same conclusion they already know: Sucre can’t move an inch. She suggests he move an inch, though.

I was wondering how the doctor didn’t know who Scofield was considering he was front page news for a couple years. He wasn’t really buying the story, though. He just wanted to help him out because he’s concerned for his health, but his assurance he won’t turn him in doesn’t sway Michael’s decision to run when he sees some cops.

Trishanne goes to see Self. She is a plant, an agent. She insists she’s fine and thinks they can bring the company down, letting him know it’s not time to give up.

Mahone leaves without being spotted. As he’s making his getaway, Baker’s wife stops him. She gives him what he came there for, telling him her husband won’t help him but that will. It’s a legend to the blueprint. Oh, and by the way, there are a bunch of landmines around Scylla. There’s a catch. Gretchen’s plan is to dismantle the mine Sucre is standing on, but this will activate the alarm. Mahone gets to them just in time and hits the manual override. A reluctant Sucre agrees to step off the mine.

Self has a casket with him, and they take a few moments to bid Brad farewell.

T-Bag has managed to get through his speech quite nicely by some miracle, and he’s got Trishanne’s application to boot. He calls the phone number on it, and Self answers.

Having survived the mines was child’s play. The next step is to break through the reinforced walls (one concrete, one glass), then get across the floor, without breathing and in silence.

Michael’s received the test results. The doctor recommends surgery, tomorrow.

Not much is known yet, but it can be confirmed that Dr. Addison Montgomery will be making an appearance again in Seattle Grace.
