Heroes Season 3 Episode 24

The family reunited to dig up some bones in Heroes Season 3 Episode 23. They plan to put their lives back together. Nathan wants to start things off by going back to Washington, but somebody beat him to it.

Big Matt Parkman’s afraid he’ll miss out on little Matt Parkman’s childhood. He’s going to win his family back. Hiro and Ando want to go to building 26, but Parkman won’t give them directions in an effort to protect them.

One of the agents spotted Sylar on a surveillance camera. Danko assured him Sylar’s dead. That may well be true. Sylar is slowly losing himself. He’s shifting and reassembling so much that he’s not coming together the same way.

Sylar finds a guy who can smash objects into dust with his mind. Just before the guy is captured by the agents, Sylar kills him, spraying his blood on the wall with the words “I am Sylar”.

Danko tells Sylar to find an anchor, something that reminds him of him, so he has something to hang on to when he’s feeling lost.

Hiro’s got a plan. Ando is bait. He will be knocked unconscious and be taken to the lair. He considers his power superior to Ando’s. When shots are fired and Hiro freezes time, though, Ando is not frozen, so neither of them has to be bait.

Sylar gets a box from an unsolved murder victim, Virginia Grey, Sylar’s mom, who he killed.

Hiro unfreezes time to allow Ando to get tasered to continue with the original plan to have him be bait.

Danko believes he’s located Rebel. They shut down the power because no electricity means no machines. Micah sees Sylar and says he can help him with his problem. He just has to join the people with abilities instead of working against them.

Hiro’s disguised himself as one of the kidnappers so he can travel along with Ando. He gets busted because the guy he took the place of didn’t wear glasses, so Ando bails him out with his power. They’ll have to do things the old fashioned way and locate building 26 by GPS.

The agents get Micah in their sights. They shoot and knock him into the water. Another Micah runs away, though.

Micah suggests changing into someone who can make a difference, like Nathan Petrelli. He could tell the President he’s made a big mistake.

Sylar wanted his mom to die. It was no accident. Now he wants to know how he can be special when he killed the only woman that ever loved him. In memory of his mom, he can be whatever he wants, even President of the United States.

Parkman has returned baby Matt to his mom. When he arrives, he knows they’re being watched.

Nathan/Sylar is holding a press conference. He blames the President for being unwilling to meet with him despite his talk about wanting change. When the President agrees to meet him and shake his hand, real change will come to the country.

Nathan hopes to be able to get there first.

Ando wants to be equal partners with Hiro. He agrees and then tries to use his power, which causes his head to hurt.

Janice is ready to leave, but Matt says he can’t go with her. Until he ends what’s going on, he can’t have a life together with her, which he maybe wants.

Nathan Petrelli goes to confront Nathan Petrelli. It’s people like Sylar that caused him to go to the President in the first place. Just as Sylar’s about to off him, a shot is fired by Danko. You can’t go around killing US Senators. Because Sylar doesn’t want to listen to him, he jabs something in the back of his skull. He’ll have to try harder than that to kill him.

Heroes Season 3 Episode 23

Sylar the shapeshifter, Danko, and HRG started to play mind games on each other in Heroes Season 3 Episode 22, as little Matt Parkman gave big Matt Parkman the encouragement he needed to continue. At the end of the episode, Angela, Peter, Nathan, Claire, and HRG proceeded to dig up a bunch of bones when they arrived at Coyote Sands.

The digging continues. There are a lot of graves there. What happened out there?

Flashback to February 1961 and a relocation center. Angela and her sister Alice are meeting Dr. Chandra Suresh. One of the first people she meets is named Linderman. The doctor told their parents that place would make Angela’s nightmares go away. She assured her little sister everything would be fine. Before she and her parents died there. Now she knows that everybody needs to come together there now, or history will repeat itself.

Angela’s been dreaming about her sister, alive. She thinks she has to find her body to give her a proper burial. The company started there and worked fine for 50 years… until now. Peter and Claire aren’t very happy about the ways of the company, such as memory erasing, blackmail, and murder.

Young Angela believed she and the other freaks were there to be saved. Her nightmares came true, not the coolest power.

Alice has something to share with her sister. She thinks she can control the weather.

Claire asked for some alone time with Angela. Why didn’t she tell Nathan and Peter about her sister? After dancing around the question, Angela asks: did you ever do something so shameful that if you talk about it you might never stop crying? Then they’re interrupted by Angela’s dream coming to life.

Peter still blames his brother for making him miss a 1986 World Series game. Missing Mookie Wilson somehow continues to interfere with their relationship 20 years later.

There’s a severe storm warning over Coyote Sands. Mohinder arrives just in time to find the hectic conditions. He came to find out what his father was doing there 50 years ago as a doctor. Now he’s not so sure he wants to know.

Back to black-and-whiteville. Suresh wants to talk to Angela. She’s had dreams about him. He’s going to kill everybody there. He wants her to rest assured… that won’t happen.

With that flashback done, the storm’s gone, but so is Angela.

Seeing the bones, Mohinder’s disillusioned by his father’s killingness. He worked there and survived, while everybody else died. The most obvious answer is usually the right one. HRG defends his dad.

Suresh thinks they’re destined to repeat their parents’ mistakes. Nonetheless, he has to believe there is hope for redemption.

Claire can’t remember the last book she read or the last movie she saw. When does she get to go back? When does digging graves not seem like just a regular everyday experience?

Back in 1961, Angela’s plotting an escape. Her sister would just slow them down, though, so she’ll have to lie to her and leave her behind.

A growed up Angela gets a visit from her also growed up sister Alice.

Having escaped, Angela’s having trouble getting the cops to believe her. Rather than worrying about that, she’ll have a dance to make up for missing her prom. The cook won’t let her dance with a colored, but they don’t have to be afraid since he’s got the power to make him forget what he saw and go back to his cooking. When she hears about a severe storm warning, she insists they have to get back to Alice.

Alice really is still alive. She’s been there for 50 years, staying in that same place because her sister told her she’d be safe if she stayed there. And the world would be safe from her.

The night Angela left, Dr. Suresh came for Alice. Wanting him to not experiment on her, she created a severe storm. Then total chaos erupted, and armed guards began firing on people with abilities.

Now that her life’s pretty much over already, Alice doesn’t have to stay there any more. She can go home. Wherever that is.

Angela apologizes for lying to her. Time for another storm and some people to get knocked out with lightning. Despite an apology from Angela, Alice doesn’t want to go home. She will take her up on that leaving the place she’s stayed at for 50 years, though.

Peter’s ready to leave, but Suresh will be staying behind. He’s not ready to forgive himself yet.

Peter has realized that families have the capacity for forgiveness. They need to try to put their lives back together.

Nathan plans to go back to Washington, take ownership of his mistakes, and talk to the President. Looks like Sylar beat him to it. He’s on the TV holding a news conference in Nathan’s body.

Heroes Season 3 Episode 22

Danko teamed up with a Sylar looking shapeshifter in Heroes Season 3 Episode 21. Meanwhile, Angela had a dream that she needs to reunite the family and go see her sister.

HRG’s examining what appears to be Sylar’s body. Danko says to trust him and that he’s not getting up this time. Funny how HRG’s tried all these years to capture him, yet Danko managed to do it this quickly.

Hiro and Ando are searching for big Matt Parkman. It’s their duty to unite the two Matt Parkmans. First they have to overcome the mystery of how to get the baby to stop crying. That and why their new car all of a sudden has stopped working.

Parkman’s looking for revenge on Danko.

Sandy comes to see HRG, and she’s not leaving town until he finds Claire.

The shapeshifter plans to destroy HRG.

Noah gets a call from Angela, talking about Coyote Sands. For 20 years, he’s asked about it but been told not to ask. She has spoken to Nathan, who will meet her there with Claire. He needs to meet them there as well. Noah, however, would apparently prefer to do some more digging into Sylar’s dead body.

Ando and Hiro are now hitchhiking. They’re picked up by a guy who looks Japanese but speaks redneck. His truck is now broken, too. Must be the baby.

HRG pulls the object out of Sylar’s skull. He wants a DNA analysis, but he does not want the body cremated.

Sandy brings some papers to sign. She wants to get a divorce because he’s a liar who’s endangered their lives. If only it were the real Sandy and not some shapeshifter.

If they can get the baby to stop crying, they’ll be able to proceed on their way. Until then, they’re stuck making funny faces. Ando probably can’t stay like that all the way to New York.

Parkman follows Danko to someone he apparently cares about. Except it turns out to be an escort.

The DNA matches James Martin, the shapeshifter. At least he was the shapeshifter until Sylar came along.

Matt tells the escort, Elena, that whatever Danko’s told her, it’s all a lie.

Suresh has gone to his apartment and finds some items in storage. There’s a place called Coyote Sands.

Sandy gets a visit from an angry gun-toting HRG. The signature on the divorce papers doesn’t match hers. If she’s really a shapeshifter, though, she probably wouldn’t have her phone and know where the dog’s pills are. His explanation about Sylar’s shapeshiftingness, which she believes, doesn’t ease her mind.

Elena has found where Danko really lives, thanks to Parkman. His fantasies of a normal life don’t change the fact that he kills people for a living. He really does care about her, though. Still, Parkman can’t kill her, so he drops the gun. Danko, however, has no problem killing Parkman. In the nick of time, Hiro arrives to stop time and wheel Parkman away. He lost the girl and didn’t hit the target.

Sylar’s gotten his hands on HRG’s old Primatech files. Only it’s not Sylar. It’s the real HRG. He wants Sylar on a platter. He’s on assignment as the leader of team six.

Matt Parkman didn’t want to be rescued, but perhaps he’ll change his mind when he meets Matt Parkman.

HRG goes with Danko to confront the leader of team six. After he shoots him, he insists he’ll heal. He doesn’t. Not until everybody else is out of the room anyway.

Danko calls Elena to explain his being a mad dog killer type. Jakob is the man he really wants to be, and he wants a chance to prove himself.

Angela, Peter, Nathan, and Claire have arrived at Coyote Sands. Whatever has happened, Nathan’s still his brother. They have to understand the past, which means grabbing some shovels and digging. Whose skull is that? Perhaps if they keep digging, they’ll find more. During this body hunt, HRG arrives as well.

Heroes Season 3 Episode 21

Hiro kidnapped baby Matt Parkman and regained his ability to freeze time in Heroes Season 3 Episode 20.

As for Peter, he’s just saved his mom. He’s not saving her because he’s a good son, though. He just wants answers. She says she wants answers, too.

Danko may be off the case as far as Nathan’s concerned, but that won’t stop him from having agents. Granted, three of his agents are now no longer living.

Sylar shows up in Danko’s car. They both want the same thing: killing people like him.

Angela wants to have some dreams that matter, but she can’t get to sleep. She always found peace in the church where she was married, so that’s where they’re at now.

Nathan’s trying to earn some money with a drinking game. $100 a hit. Last man standing wins.

Danko hears a phone ringing. It’s from Sylar. He didn’t have much trouble sneaking in there. He’s got an answer for him. James Martin, the guy who killed his men, is a shapeshifter. We see how he changes form as he makes his getaway. He just has to touch someone, then he morphs into them. He could be anyone.

Angela thinks Peter must hate her for what she’s done and how she’s raised him, but he says he doesn’t.

Danko believes that shapeshifting would be Sylar’s escape hatch. Despite the fact that Danko has a gun pointed at Sylar and is trying to act tough, Sylar still wants to work with him.

Peter doesn’t get the point of all this, and he wants to know if God even cares. He wants to see God live up to his end of their deal and just show up. He doesn’t get an omnimpotent deity, but what he does get is a group of guys hunting two fugitives.

Martin’s trying on personalities like clothes. Sylar believes the common denominator is power. The roles he takes on give him power like he would never get in real life. What they’re seeking is men of power with women of allure. That narrows it down.

Nathan’s passed out, but that hasn’t stopped Claire from getting the money back. It’s like she’s not even affected by the alcohol.

Angela’s lost everything. Her friends, her husband, her boys. But that’s the price she chose to pay to save the world. As she’s saying that, HRG busts in on her in the confessional, and he just pretends that it’s all clear.

When they arrive at the night club, Sylar finds Martin. He thinks Danko will recognize him. Either Danko’s got a twin, or they’ve got themselves a shapeshifter. He’s after power. For some reason, he thinks Danko has that. Regardless, he’s a better Danko than the real thing is.

Nathan gave Claire a free pass because he hoped to win her over in one move. He’d do better to fix this mess he’s created.

Danko shoots someone who looks like Sylar. It’s Martin apparently. Now that that’s over, it’s Sylar’s turn to play.

Although Nathan said he would fix everything the night before, the next morning, he says he was just drunk. He doesn’t have any plans to fix this. Claire still believes in him, even if he’s lost belief in himself. He’s supposed to be Superman.

Angela has managed to get some sleep and have a dream. After they find Nathan and Claire and bring the family together, they need to go visit her sister.

Danko shows HRG the body in the body bag. Dead ringer for Sylar. The guy in Danko’s car who just shapeshifted into Sylar is as well.

Heroes Season 3 Episode 20

Hiro and Ando went looking for Parkman in Heroes Season 3 Episode 19. When they found him, he was about 30 years younger than they’d expected.

Danko hears his security system go off. He’s got a gift hanging when he goes to see what’s going on: Eric the puppetmaster.

The irony of sacrificing her relationship to her sons in order to save her sons isn’t lost on Angela, though she believes Peter won’t forgive her. She suggests to HRG giving Rebel to Danko to earn his trust.

Danko brings Suresh to the room where they’re holding Daphne and the others. Easier to bring him there under his own free will and stab him there than to carry him.

Eric is also among the victims in Danko’s creepy room. HRG visits him and asks how he’d like to see Rebel lying there as well. He wants to use Tracy as bait to capture Rebel.

Hiro tells Parkman to not worry: they’ll make him big again. Maybe it’s Matt Parkman’s baby. Maybe it’s another Matt Parkman. Maybe it’s really the right guy. Whoever it is, he does have a power.

Angela Petrelli has a dream that her driver is pulled out of her car by some guys. Since she realizes this is a premonition, she runs out of the car when they stop.

Tracy busts out and starts to wake up the others. First Suresh, then Parkman. Parkman insists on waking up Daphne, whether she’ll slow them down or not. Since they’ve got the mind control guy, they will just walk out the front door.

HRG tells Tracy she should have stuck with Matt Parkman instead of going shopping. Who is Rebel? If she leads him to Rebel, he’ll let her go. If she runs and/or kills HRG instead, she’s dead.

Parkman and Suresh bring Daphne to the hospital, where Parkman’s able to convince them not to report this gunshot wound to the police.

Hiro plans to kidnap the baby, except it’s not kidnapping if they leave his mom a note. Before they can do anything, she returns home.

Tracy is provided with cash, ID, and a boarding pass. Micah will be following her.

Hiro and Ando explain that the baby is in danger. It started during the eclipse. The mother says Parkman is not a hero… he’s a terrorist. They warn her that heroes are being rounded up. Then there’s a knock on the door. They’ve got a warrant to bring her and her child in. The baby’s never met his father, and he can’t talk either. She pretends the kid’s at the babysitter’s, but they don’t buy it and want the house searched. It’s a good thing Ando’s got a cool new offensive power, and Hiro seems to have his time freezing ability back thanks to toddler touch and go. Too bad he can’t teleport, too. He’ll have to put Ando in a wheelbarrow and walk past the men with the guns.

Daphne’s awake now. She doesn’t believe they’re meant to be together, even if Matt does. It was nice meeting him, though. She doesn’t plan to slow down long enough for anyone to catch her, not even him.

Micah meets up with Tracy. He’s Rebel. If only she knew it were him, maybe she wouldn’t have set him up.

Just as a group of armed men think they’ve captured Angela, Peter shows up to fly her away.

Tracy tells Micah she’s not the person she used to be, but now he thinks she’s just a politician. Whose side is she on? Micah sets off the fire sprinklers as she instructs. She tells him to keep doing what he’s doing and to stay ahead of the ice. The men surrounding her will not be so lucky, but then again, Tracy will not be either, as Danko shoots her frozen body.

Hiro has restarted time. Now that they’ve saved little Matt Parkman, they have to save big Matt Parkman, too.

Parkman seems to have picked up a new flying power, which allows him to catch up with Daphne. Only this is not real. She knows they’re still in the hospital, and he’s just in her head trying to give her a story book ending. That he does, and she’s gone.

Sneak Peek

Heroes Season 3 Episode 19

Claire helped Alex escape in Heroes Season 3 Episode 18. Just as she thought things were going okay, she got a visit Eric, the creepy puppetmaster. Parkman, meanwhile, is standing outside the Capitol with a bomb strapped to his chest.

He’s happier to see Barbie than she is to see him. He wants to go back to a normal life. Rebel sent a fake call, so the agents who were outside are at least distracted for the time being. He claims to be a changed person, and he won’t force her to help him.

A dazed and confused Parkman has now attracted a lot of attention. Nathan arrives on the scene to profess his innocence and blame Danko. Danko decides to activate the weapon and make the hero Senator a martyr to his own cause.

The drugs are starting to wear off, so Parkman’s able to get into the mind of one of the techs. He hears red wire… that would be the one not to touch. How about the black wire? Nathan decides to just pull it, and it’s the right move, just in time to prevent themselves from being blown up. Now it’s time to let the people surrounding them capture Matt.

Sylar’s found dear old dad, who tells him to go right ahead and kill him before the cancer does.

Tracy comes up on the monitor and is screaming that Nathan’s one of them.

Then she gets her own message on the monitors that help is coming.

Nathan goes in to see Tracy. He’s been helping her all along, or so he says. She pretty much still hates his guts. Danko comes in, and it’s his turn to talk to her alone. He wants to know everything she knows about Nathan. So anyway… what’s an ability?

Sandra doesn’t want Rebel sending any more psychopaths to her front door, so Claire decides to take Alex’s job at the comic book store. Despite her lack of experience in retail, she’s got enough experience in getting guys to stare at her to get the job.

Sylar’s dad has some abilities, but he doesn’t seem to have much left in him. He wants to know why Sylar just picks easy targets like he does, yet he runs away from the agents. Meanwhile, he can eliminate the threat that’s in the room with him now (a bunny).

HRG tosses a file on Danko’s desk: Angela Petrelli. He’s worried that Nathan’s on thin ice and is moving too fast.

Claire calls her dad for answers, but she doesn’t know whether she wants to feel better or if she wants the truth, so he doesn’t know what the right answer is.

Then she gets a text from Rebel, who tells her Doyle’s being chased by agents. The chick with the gun points it at him, so he turns the tables and gets her to point at herself. He decides to let her live, and Barbie’s there to meet Doyle as requested.

Danko visits Angela to talk about genetics. He doesn’t believe that Nathan was the misfit who didn’t inherit anything from his parents. As for Danko, she’s surprised he survived that incident in Angola.

Sylar’s dad doesn’t even remember killing his mom. Didn’t matter to him. Thanks to his cheerleader ability, Sylar plans to live forever, which just means he has that much longer to suffer. This is a power his dad wants, though, and all of a sudden his powers are just fine. He flings some arrows at Sylar. His plan is to kill again, but this time he’ll get it right. Too bad he’s no match for his son, who again has a reason to want revenge. The best revenge will be to let him die slowly and painfully of his sickness. Time to go look for bigger game to hunt.

Nathan’s got what he needs to get rid of Danko. The President is eager to meet Danko’s replacement, which obviously will be HRG. Before they can go, though, Danko pulls out his gun, then he shoves Nathan out the window.

Claire gives Eric his new identity. It’s not about him. It’s about her and who she needs to be. So did he mean what he said about how he changed?

Hiro and Ando arrive in LA to find Parkman. He seems to be… a baby. Apparently, they’re his new babysitters.

Danko arrives home, where Sylar is waiting for him. As for Sandy’s normal life, she’s got agents raiding her house, while Claire and Nathan watch from outside.
