The animal world and its supporters lost a great guy today. Steve Irwin, better known to the world as the “Crocodile Hunter“, was killed after being stung in the chest by a stingray off the northern costa of Australia.

Steve Irwin was filming yet another marine documentary when he was stung by a stingray, which sent a barb through his chest, close to his heart. The Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin was the director of the Australian Zoo in Queensland and is survived by his american born wife Terri and their two children, Bindi Sue and Robert.

R.I.P. Steve, you dedicated your entire life to the animal kingdom and you’ve brought a great deal of awareness to the world through your crazy ways, you will be missed and your work will not be forgotten.

The folks over at theblogjoint.com have put together a pretty good list of WordPress Plugins and explenation of what each on does. Going through the list earlier today I noticed that I had most of them already, but a few that were on there I don’t have and certainly plan to get.

This is a really good list and covers all the bases of WordPress blogging really. I’ll be grabbing a few more plugins off that list and throwing them into the mix over the weekend.

Check out their site, they could have something listed their that *gasp*, may even be usefull to you!

One of the local Vancouver Bloggers got hitched the other day and as I was reading her latest blog entry she posted the wedding vows and I certainly have to say, they had the best vows I have ever seen! Completely original and totally fun. It would have been a riot to actually see two people reciting them. Check ’em out:

Did anyone else read this story and wonder what the hell is going on?

Personally, even if I had a child, there is no way in hell I would want to have their first poo bronzed, mounted and turned into a decoration. What the hell is wrong with these people?

The world has yet to even see a picture of Suri Cruise to prove that IT exists, yet apparently their’s no problem for the Cruise family to show of her first poo? WTF!

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are dragging this entire PR stunt out way to long. Though I supposed now that Paramount Pictures dropped Tom Cruise he needs the extra attention and cash. Let’s face it, his career is taking one giant swirl down the crapper and I’ve never been happier to see a celebrity go down the drain before, it’s really quite surprising actually.

All murder charges against John Mark Karr, the man who was recently arresed in Thailand, flown back to the U.S. first class and willingly confessed to killing JonBennet Ramsey, has been aquitted of all murder charges.

DNA samples taken from Mr. John Mark Karr did not match those that were taken from JonBennet or any of her clothes. As such, the district attorney has dropped the warrant on John Karr and they will not be proceeding with the case.

I had the feeling this guy wasn’t actually guilty, but was just doing it for the attention. One thing is for sure, he may not have killed JonBennet, but he is still bat-shit crazy and a pedophile and should be locked up for good.

Thankfully this wack job isn’t getting set free again, but is being shipped back to California to face child pornography charges.

Spicy over at Celebrity Smack is trying to help out a beautiful boxer puppy named ‘Dallas’. This poor guy had his leg hurt some how and his previous owner was to much of a dick to get it checked out and decided to dump him somewhere instead. So not only has Dallas’ leg healed all gimpy, he got abandoned too. Luckily the Lone Star Boxer Rescue picked him up and have been looking after him ever since. However, they don’t have a whole lot of money and do the work for the love of the animals. As such, they’re reaching out to animal lovers out there to make a donation and help to get Dallas all fixed up so he can run and play with his buddies again.

If you can spare anything or would like to donate anything, please check out Lone Star Boxer Rescue‘s website and drop some change in their jar.

I also apologize to everyone for making this kind of sob story post, but I’m an animal lover and I hate to see things like this happen, especially due to the lazyness and just utter lack of care and heart on the owners part. There are some terrible people out there, how they can just dump their animals in the middle of no where is beyond me, especially when they’re as cute as Dallas, look at that face! 🙂

It looks like British rocker and Baby Shambles frontman Pete Doherty may have finally bought himself a one way ticket to jail, hopefully. This guy has been caught with drugs so many times it’s amazing that he’s yet to spend a single day in jail. Though this time, Pete has gone to far.

Pete Doherty was reportedly caught in the adolecent addiction unit of the rehab center he currently resides in giving cocaine to one of the teenagers that’s there to kick the addiction. Now, Pete has done some pretty screwed up things in his time, like drugging an already passed out person on camera and squirting a syringe full of his own blood at a reporter/cameraman during an interview, but this is just evil. He’s already thrown his life away and now he’s trying to destroy a teenagers life when they’re trying to get back on the right path again, good work man, real class act as always.
