Parks and Recreation, The Office, and 30 Rock will be returning, but NBC has decided not to renew My Name Is Earl for next season. Earl’s current time slot will be split between SNL Weekend Update Thursday in the fall and then new show Community in midseason.

Ugly Betty Moving to Friday
The good news: Ugly Betty has been renewed for season 4. The bad news: it will be on Friday nights. The show will air at 9/8c after Supernanny starting in the fall. Typically, a Friday night scheduling means certain death. If nothing else, it’s a lot worse than its previous Thursday night time slot, one of the best available.
The Bachelor 14
The Bachelorette 5 just started last night, but ABC has already announced that the regular The Bachelor will be picked up for season 14, no surprise considering the increased ratings The Bachelor 13 saw. The next The Bachelor will premiere in midseason (presumably January) in its usual 8/7c time period on Monday nights.
Cold Case Season 7
Cold Case, which has been on the bubble in recent months, has been renewed by CBS for season 7 and will be returning for the 2009-2010 television season.
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles Cancelled
We’ve been expecting it ever since Fox decided to move it to Fridays, where its ratings declined even further, but the network made it official by announcing that Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles has been cancelled.
Bones Season 5
Fox has announced that Bones has been renewed for season 5. The show will remain in its current Thursday at 8/7c time slot when it returns this fall.
Dollhouse Season 2
Dollhouse, which has seen ratings declines every week since it premiered, has managed to nab itself a renewal for season two. Its iTunes and Tivo numbers have proven strong, and since Fox doesn’t have a great deal in its non-Idol powered fall lineup, the network’s ready to give it another shot. The bad news: it’s still on Friday nights.
So You Think You Can Dance 6
We’re a week away from the premiere of So You Think You Can Dance 5, but Fox is already announcing plans for season 6. The show, typically a summer staple for the network, will make its fall debut later this year.
