NCIS: Los Angeles

Today we learned the name of the new NCIS spinoff. NCIS: Los Angeles. Honest.

I know this much for sure. If there’s a NCIS: Norfolk, I’m going to suggest that somebody be slapped.

NCIS will serve as the lead in for the new series, which will air Tuesday at 9/8c on CBS.

Everybody Hates Chris, The Game Cancelled

Last year, The CW decided to bid farewell to the WWE, resulting in a scramble to fill what had been its highest rated night. Out of that came the move of Everybody Hates Chris and The Game to Friday nights from their previous Sunday time slot (a night that is now officially in the graveyard for The CW). The move to Friday actually resulted in a nice increase in ratings for both shows over their terrible Sunday performances, but it was not enough, so Everybody Hates Chris and The Game have been cancelled. This leaves just America’s Next Top Model as the sole survivor from UPN.

Reaper Cancelled

Reaper’s ratings are in line with 90210, its lead out that has already been renewed (yet would be cancelled on any other network), but it lags in The CW’s young female target demographic audience. With that said, the network has decided to pull the plug on Reaper. Let’s hope next week’s series finale is an appropriate end to the show, but I wouldn’t bet on it.
