The Biggest Loser Season 16 Episode 2

Zina and Vanessa lost the challenge and were the first people who went to Comeback Canyon in The Biggest Loser Season 16 Episode 1. Losing that weigh in, Zina was sent home. Then Andrea was voted out because she said she wanted to quit, and she joined Vanessa.

I had counted this show out, and perhaps that’s how the chips will end up falling. However, last week’s ratings were not terrible. Actually, going up against football, they were pretty good, and they were awesome compared to the dreadful comedy block last year. Maybe it won’t be so bad after all. Until they cut it down to 1 hour per week. I’m not sure the last time I have regularly watched something on a Thursday. Probably back before Survivor moved. I have tried watching some of the ABC dramas, and everybody knows how quickly those get cancelled. One season. Maybe.

Blake decides she does not want to talk about her feelings. Dolvett kicks her out of the gym. Later, she reluctantly agrees to talk.

Their challenge is an obstacle course in which they must bust through walls (work, fear, responsibility, and food). The winning team will be guaranteed use of the gym this week. Mike will sit out for medical reasons. Sonya will sit out for the white team. Blue team has a slight lead, but they fall behind on the third wall. Red and white teams are neck and neck at the finish. White team wins by seconds. Blue is not close.

The white team can pick one other team to join them in the gym. Rondalee wants to bring the stronger team, but she is outvoted. The blue team will be joining them in the gym. They take offense to this decision.

Between red team’s big win last week and their inability to use the gym now, they have an uphill battle.

In addition to the typical you have pre-diabetes/sleep apnea talk, Dr. H has a new tool. He can scare them by showing them what they will look like if they keep gaining weight at the pace they are going. We find out that multiple people have parents with life threatening weight issues that they regardless have refused to learn from.

For Rob, he breaks out a wheelchair, which causes him to storm out of the room shouting. Either he can lose weight, or he will end up like his father.

Toma accepts that he needs to get through the grieving process of his father in order to lose the weight.

Now we go back to Comeback Canyon for a weigh in. Oh yeah, Bob’s still on the show, and he no longer has that weird moustache.

Vanessa: 347 pounds (-5, 1.42%)
Andrea: 224 pounds (-6, 2.61%)

Andrea easily wins the weigh in, and Vanessa has been eliminated.

Now back to the ranch.

Blake: 227 pounds (-8, 3.40%)
Emmy: 249 pounds (-5, 1.97%)
Mike: 352 pounds (-9, 2.49%)
Jordan: 293 pounds (-8, 2.66%)
Scott: 333 pounds (-10, 2.92%)
Rob: 438 pounds (-12, 2.67%)
Red Total: 1892 pounds (-52, 2.67%)

Toma: 308 pounds (-8, 2.53%)
Sonya: 253 pounds (-7, 2.69%)
Rondalee: 258 pounds (-8, 3.01%)
Matt: 353 pounds (-10, 2.75%)
Woody: 376 pounds (-12, 3.09%)
JJ: 366 pounds (-12, 3.17%)
White Total: 1914 pounds (-57, 2.89%)

Gina: 222 pounds (-6, 2.63%)
Lori: 287 pounds (-5, 1.71%)
Chandra: 325 pounds (-9, 2.69%)
Jackie: 273 pounds (-10, 3.53%)
Damien: 367 pounds (-14, 3.67%)
Blue Total: 1474 pounds (-44, 2.90%)

Why is new trainer guy (Jake’s cousin, whatever his name is) picking apart Gina for losing 2.63% but excited by Chandra’s 2.69%? This is why we go by percentages, not raw numbers.

Nobody did particularly badly this week, especially for week two, but the white and blue teams managed to edge ahead of the red team. As The Biggest Loser on the losing team, Blake is safe.

Votes
Scott: Emmy
Jordan: Emmy
Rob: Emmy

With 3 votes, Emmy is not The Biggest Loser. The team voted based on numbers, as Emmy was the smallest loser both last week and this week.

From her starting weight of 366 pounds, Vanessa is down 45 pounds to 321 today.

Stay tuned to dingoRUE for another live recap of The Biggest Loser Season 16 Episode 3, which airs Thursday at 8/7c on NBC.

The Biggest Loser Season 16 Episode 1

I think we’re on the last leg of The Biggest Loser with season 16, dubbed Glory Days. It seems to have been sent to die up against CBS football in the same time slot as last year’s absolutely disastrous NBC comedy lineup after having been battered around ever since The Voice came around.

Jillian Michaels quit again, and Bob Harper has been moved (downgraded?) to trainer at Comeback Canyon, where the contestants will be given a second chance. New trainers Jessie Pavelka (Jake’s cousin) and Jennifer Widerstrom join Dolvett Quince at the ranch. You really can’t help but be disappointed seeing this lineup of trainers. The cast of 20 is made up of former athletes, a few possibly very famous but most using the term loosely.

·Andrea Wilamowski (Former high school cheerleader; currently Vice President of Operations, Detroit Pride Cheerleaders), 43, Grosse Pointe Farms, MI
·Blake Benge (Former high school soccer, track; currently student), 18, San Clemente, CA
·Chandra Maple (Former high school softball, basketball player; currently optometric technician), 26, Dodge City, KS
·Damien Woody (Two-time Super Bowl champion; currently an ESPN analyst), 36, Mendham, NJ
·Emmy Lou Munoz (Former high school softball, volleyball and track and field; currently teacher), 32, Woodson, TX
·Gina Haddon (Former cheerleader; currently make-up artist/photographer), 41, Rowlett, TX
·Howard “Woody” Carter (Former Arena League football player; currently car salesman), 46, Las Vegas, NV
·Jackie Pierson (Former high school basketball MVP; currently clinical care coordinator), 36, Pacifica, CA
·John “JJ” O’Malley (Former Arizona State University football player; currently bouncer), 22, Scottsdale, AZ
·Jordan Alicandro (Former high school baseball player; currently regional sales manager), 32, Surrey, BC, Canada
·Lori Harrigan-Mack (Three-time Olympic gold medal winning softball player; currently director of security for a Las Vegas hotel), 44, Las Vegas, NV
·Matthew Miller (Former high school football player; currently business entrepreneur), 31, Grove, OK
·Mike Murburg (Former Princeton University football player and wrestler; currently an attorney representing the disabled), 58, Darby, FL
·Rob Guiry (Former rugby player; currently Head Rugby Coach, 26, Western New England University), Springfield, MA
·Rondalee Beardslee (Former high school basketball, football and softball player; currently nursing student), 28, New Lothrop, MI
·Scott Mitchell (12-year NFL veteran quarterback; currently bill collector), 46, Mapleton, UT
·Sonya Jones (Former All American softball player; currently PE teacher/coach), 39, Springfield, IL
·Toma Dobrosavljevic (Former high school soccer, football, volleyball, baseball player; currently senior project manager), 33, Addison, IL
·Vanessa Hayden (Former WNBA basketball player; currently a child welfare specialist), 32, Orlando, FL
·Zina Garrison (Gold medal winning tennis player; currently professional tennis coach), 50, Hyattsville, MD

We kick off with the first weigh in. Kind of. Geez, you have 2 hours. Why are we rushing through this? They’re going too fast for me.

Andrea: 244 pounds
Blake: 251 pounds
Chandra: 341 pounds
Damien: 388 pounds
Emmy Lou: 260 pounds
Gina: 242 pounds
Jackie: 291 pounds
JJ: 392 pounds
Jordan: 323 pounds
Lori: 301 pounds
Matthew: 386 pounds
Mike: 399 pounds
Rob: 483 pounds
Rondalee: 280 pounds
Scott: 366 pounds
Sonya: 283 pounds
Toma: 336 pounds
Vanessa: 366 pounds
Woody: 398 pounds
Zina: 263 pounds

At the first workout, JJ is unable to finish, falling on the ground before it’s over. Lori is extremely emotional during this workout (and after). She later reveals that she has had seven miscarriages.

The two people who finish last in the first challenge will be eliminated. No weigh ins. No second chances. Until they meet Bob. Those who finish will be allowed to choose their trainers when they reach the top of the hill. Their task is to go uphill in the sand while pushing a ball.

Dolvett (Red): Scott, Jordan, Blake, Emmy, Rob, Mike
Jen (White): Rondalee, Toma, Sonya, JJ, Woody, Matt
Jessie (Blue): Lori, Gina, Andrea, Jackie, Damien, Chandra

Collapsing at the finish line, Zina does not complete the challenge. Vanessa also falls further down the hill, and she is likewise eliminated.

They are brought to the middle of the woods, and it’s here they get the best surprise since Jillian came back the first time. They meet Bob for another chance. Each week, he will be training two people. The Biggest Loser each week will stay, but the other person will head home.

Vanessa is coming off a hamstring injury from the last challenge, but Bob knows her problem is mostly mental.

Back at the ranch, Mike is also injured. He’s on crutches following his walk to the gym. Still, he seems to be in relatively high spirits. His son died, but he plans to introduce us to him by being like him.

Then there’s Andrea, who is talking about throwing in the towel. If they lose, she’ll tell them to send her home. At least this attitude does not last long for now.

Damien, the blue team’s lone male member, has exactly the opposite philosophy. He wants to prove that he can’t be broken.

The very first Comeback Canyon weigh in will determine which of these two is going home for good and which is going to stay at the canyon to compete again next week.

Zina: 255 pounds (-8, 3.04%)
Vanessa: 352 pounds (-14, 3.83%)

Despite Zina seeming to have the better attitude, she is not The Biggest Loser.

The weigh in with just Bob and two contestants is a lot more subdued than most, and they can’t drag it out for very long.

At the ranch, we return to voting. Good. That’s how this show should be. I grew tired of the format they tried recently, and the save introduced last year did not help any.

Sonya: 260 pounds (-23, 8.13%)
Matt: 363 pounds (-23, 5.96%)
Rondalee: 266 pounds (-14, 5.00%)
Toma: 316 pounds (-20, 5.95%)
Woody: 388 pounds (-10, 2.51%)
JJ: 378 pounds (-14, 3.57%)
White Total: 1971 pounds (-104, 5.01%)

Emmy: 254 pounds (-6, 2.31%)
Blake: 235 pounds (-16, 6.37%)
Jordan: 301 pouns (-22, 6.81%)
Scott: 343 pounds (-23, 6.28%)
Rob: 450 pounds (-33, 6.83%)
Mike: 361 pounds (-38, 9.52%)
Red Total: 1944 pounds (-138, 6.63%)

Gina: 228 pounds (-14, 5.79%)
Andrea: 230 pounds -14, 5.74%)
Chandra: 334 pounds (-7, 2.05%)
Jackie: 283 pounds (-8, 2.75%)
Lori: 292 pounds (-9, 2.99%)
Damien: 381 pounds (-7, 1.80%)
Blue Total: 1748 pounds (-59, 3.27%)

It seemed like the blue team were the underdogs coming into this, and they fell apart on the scales. As The Biggest Loser for the losing team, Gina is safe.

Votes
Lori: Andrea
Andrea: Damien
Damien: Chandra
Chandra: Andrea
Jackie: Andrea

With 3 votes, Andrea is not The Biggest Loser. She may have put up a big number on the scale (very close to the best on her team), but her earlier talk about wanting to quit has come back to bite her, even if she has since changed her mind.

From her starting weight of 263 pounds, Zina is now down to 223 pounds.

Stay tuned to dingoRUE for another live recap of The Biggest Loser Season 16 Episode 2, which airs Thursday at 8/7c on NBC.

Jillian Michaels Quits The Biggest Loser. Again. (Again.)

Jillian Michaels is planning to leave The Biggest Loser again and will not be appearing as a trainer during the upcoming season 16 according to a report from Us. The last two times she left the show, it lasted for less than a year before she ended up coming back.

Of course, the way things are going, it seems that NBC has completely given up on the show because it’s not called The Voice. With the awful scheduling and now dumping it in Thursday night deathslot, I’m not sure there will even be a show to come back to a year from now.

There is no word yet on who might be the replacement trainer. I don’t think they even really need a third trainer, but it does make sense to keep a female trainer in the mix.

The Biggest Loser Season 15 Winner

Following Rachel’s win at the triathlon in The Biggest Loser Season 15 Episode 14, Chelsea and Jennifer were eliminated.

Up first, the eliminated contestants weigh in to compete for the at home prize.

Jennifer: 162 pounds (-104, 39.10%)
Fernanda: 163 pounds (-84, 34.80%)
Hap: 322 pounds (-81, 20.10%)
Matt: 223 pounds (-133, 37.36%)
Chelsea: 146 pounds (-95, 39.42%)
Holley: 255 pounds (-96, 27.35%)
Tanya: 175 pounds (-87, 33.21%)
Craig: 223 pounds (-162, 42.08%)
Marie: 138 pounds (-111, 44.58%)
Ruben: 343 pounds (-119, 25.76%)
Tumi: 144 pounds (-175, 54.86%)
Jay: 183 pounds (-114, 38.38%)

Tumi Oguntala is The Biggest Loser At Home winner of $100,000. I wasn’t sure she was that much of a threat, but these numbers are huge. 54.86% is second only to season 8 winner Danny.

Now we get to the final showdown for the grand prize of $250,000. They all look like they have lost about half or more.

Bobby: 170 pounds (-188, 52.51%)
Rachel: 105 pounds (-155, 59.62%)
David: 187 pounds (-222, 54.28%)

And I thought Tumi’s numbers were impressive. The Biggest Loser Season 15 winner is Rachel Frederickson, who blows away all previous records, weighing in at just 105 pounds.

Based on the ratings for this season, it’s a pretty safe bet that this show will be back again for season 16. Eventually. Wherever NBC can find an hour or two to cram it into random weird time slots. Unfortunately, though the ratings were enough, they were relatively lackluster, down quite a bit from last season. This was a real rough season to get into, and as NBC shows it has lost interest in the show, the fans seem to be following.

The Biggest Loser Season 15 Episode 14

During makeover week, Marie and Tanya fell victim to the double elimination in The Biggest Loser Season 15 Episode 13.

The final five contestants will compete in a triathlon. Whoever wins will automatically be part of the finale. Is there even any reason for this challenge? It’s obvious Rachel is going to win.

Beyond that, this will serve as primarily a recap/reflection episode.

From her staring weight of 262 pounds, Tanya is now down to 174 pounds. She has decided to make a change from running a fast food restaurant to running one that serves healthier food.

The triathlon consists of a 0.5 mile swim, 12 miles of biking, and a 3 mile run. In addition to a place in the finals, the winner will receive a car. Beyond the fact that she has proved to be the best runner, this race starts off in a place where Rachel spent 10 years of her life, the water. Of course, she gets off to an early lead, and of course, David is second behind her. Chelsea is behind them in third. Jennifer and Bobby are bringing up the rear. Rachel retains her lead on the bike, far enough ahead that she can’t see the person behind her. As expected, Rachel wins the triathlon (in 1 hour and 32 minutes). The remaining places are the same as they were coming out of the water.

Marie has gone from 249 pounds down to 150 pounds today.

Having won the challenge, Rachel is immune at the weigh in. Two more people will be joining her in the finals.

Rachel: 150 pounds (-1, 0.66%)
Chelsea: 157 pounds (-7, 4.27%)
Jennifer: 182 pounds (-3, 1.62%)
Bobby: 231 pounds (-17, 6.85%)
David: 243 pounds (-16, 6.18%)

Had she not won the challenge, Rachel would have been eliminated at the very last hurdle after dominating the season so far. Instead, she joins David (who likewise has been very strong) and Bobby (who was eliminated once and then would have been voted out after that if they were smart) in the finals. Jennifer and Chelsea have fallen below the red line and are eliminated.

I would think that they would care enough to keep the scheduling simple for just one last episode. I guess not. Next week’s episode will begin 1 hour later than usual.

Stay tuned to dingoRUE for another live recap of The Biggest Loser Season 15 Episode 15, where we will find out who The Biggest Loser Season 15 winner is, which airs Tuesday at 9/8c on NBC.

The Biggest Loser Season 15 Episode 13

With the voting continuing for a second week in The Biggest Loser Season 15 Episode 12, their decision was to eliminate Jay, the least threatening player who was almost at his goal weight.

It’s makeover week. Unlike usual, they’re not going to pretend that the visit from home is a surprise. They tell them their family and friends are on a plane coming to see them.

When he returns home, Jay is able to go roping for the first time in over two years. Before, he was forced to stop riding horses because he could not safely do so due to his weight.

If there were an episode they could squeeze into an hour, this is it, but the changes they go through are great. David is completely unrecognizeable after they shave him and cut his hair, and then they chop off all of Marie’s hair, too, much to her dismay. As for Rachel, she is now down to a size 6.

After spending the week being made over, they are hit with a surprise at the weigh in. There will be two people below the red line.

Bobby: 248 pounds (-6, 2.36%)
Tanya: 192 pounds (-4, 2.04%)
Chelsea: 164 pounds (-4, 2.38%)
Rachel: 151 pounds (-4, 2.58%)
Marie: 175 pounds (-3, 1.69%)
Jennifer: 185 pounds (-4, 2.12%)
David: 259 pounds (-7, 2.63%)

Marie and Tanya have fallen below the red line and be eliminated.

Stay tuned to dingoRUE for another live recap of The Biggest Loser Season 15 Episode 14, which airs Tuesday at 8/7c on NBC.

The Biggest Loser Season 15 Episode 12

With the yellow line making its first appearance this year, Tumi was eliminated in The Biggest Loser Season 15 Episode 11.

This week, the contestants go away. They will be training at the Olympic Training Center in Utah. Though they get to see some sights and meet some new people, they’re ultimately worried that the change in routine will bring about bad results on the scale.

Rachel has come prepared. She made all her food for the week before they left, so unlike the others who can easily fall off the wagon, she should be good to go. She at least has clearly learned her lesson.

Their challenge is curling, an actual sport we’re told. They will be pushing 100 pound curling stones and try to get inside the red circle. First to 3 points will advance. Jay says he has no interest at all in winning because he is too much of a threat. Rachel has no such hang ups, and she joins Bobby in the final round. In the second heat, David and Chelsea advance. Rachel ends up winning the $5,000 prize, and not everybody is happy about it.

Bob predicts the weigh in is going to suck, and somebody is going to gain weight. That somebody may well be Bobby, who ended up binging at the start of the week, turning to food because of the pressure of being back at the ranch.

From her starting weight of 319 pounds, Tumi is down to 180 pounds today. With those numbers, she’s a threat to win the at home prize.

Their next challenge is at the bobsled track. But they won’t be going down it. No, they have to run up it. This track is 1 mile long, and the elevation ranges from 7000-7400 feet above sea level. The prize this time is a 1 pound advantage. Jay and Rachel are the only ones who are actually running. They run neck and neck until about half way when Rachel pulls ahead by a good distance. As Jay struggles to regain control of his breathing, Rachel easily wins the challenge plus a ride on the bobsled.

Becky from season 12 has kept the weight off and continued losing. She is now participating in Teaching Gardens, a program designed to teach kids about planting healthy foods.

The weigh in takes place at the Nordic Ski Jump.

Rachel: 155 pounds (-6, -1, 4.35%) – over 100 pounds lost
Jennifer: 189 pounds (no change)
David: 266 pounds (-4, 1.48%)
Marie: 178 pounds (-5, 2.73%)
Chelsea: 168 pounds (-3, 1.75%)
Tanya: 196 pounds (-2, 1.01%)
Jay: 193 pounds (+1, 0.52%)
Bobby: 256 pounds (+2, 0.79%)

Bobby and Jay, the two people who gained weight, have fallen below the yellow line. Jay has done an awesome job, but he’s at a wall with very little more weight left to lose.

Votes
Tanya: Jay
Jennifer: Jay
Rachel: Jay
Marie: Bobby
David: Jay

With 4 votes, Jay is not The Biggest Loser. He leaves 8 pounds away from his goal weight. Bobby is the bigger threat, except in the triathlon, but they want to keep him around because he is struggling.

Stay tuned to dingoRUE for another live recap of The Biggest Loser Season 15 Episode 13, which airs Tuesday at 8/7c on NBC.

The Biggest Loser Season 15 Episode 11

It’s been a few weeks since The Biggest Loser Season 15 Episode 10 when Hap and Matt were both eliminated, and we were left with a cliffhanger that one person will be returning to the house.

In a strange turn of events, the scheduling of this show is unlinke any other reality TV show that comes to my mind. Rather than doing two seasons on opposite ends of the winter break, they decided to do a single long season. I just hope the second part of the season picks up because the first part felt so rushed with the 1 hour time frame that it was hard to get into.

The good news is that The Voice does not return for several weeks, so at least for now NBC is forced to deliver 2 hour episodes again. It would be nice if they would just stop screwing around with this show and trying to kill it. It’s not like they have a lot of successes. Why mess up a show that has been successful for a decade when almost the entire rest of your lineup is a disaster?

Matt, Hap, Ruben, Fernanda, Craig, Bobby, and Holley will have a chance to win a spot back in the house. Unlike a couple of seasons ago when a bunch of whiners/quitters got all up in arms about this twist that happens every single season, everybody seems happy to see them. The player with the highest percentage of weight loss is the one who will be returning. At least we know they have not invented another excuse to let Ruben return again. I’m surprised there won’t be a singing contest.

Matt: 26.12%
Hap: 21.59%
Ruben: 377 pounds (-85, 18.40%)
Fernanda: 208 pounds (-42, 16.80%)
Holley: 277 pounds (-74, 21.08%)
Craig: 307 pounds (-78, 20.26%)
Bobby: 261 pounds (-97, 27.09%)

Bobby was just sent home last week, so he has not been on his own for very long, but he does manage to edge Matt out for the spot to return to the ranch. He’s not happy about the triathlon, seeing as he does not know how to swim.

Finally this week, there will be a yellow line, and the contestants will be forced to vote after months of being on easy street.

Jillian’s noticing something with Tanya. Every workout, she does great, right up until the very end when she deliberately sabotages herself.

Hap has learned to stop making excuses. Just because his job requires travel does not mean he has to gain weight. To help himself, he has bought a portable grill, allowing him to cook his own lean meats, rather than restaurant foods doused in fat and sauces.

They head to the beach for a challenge, which means lots of running in sand. The winner will receive $25,000 in home gym equipment. They must grab kettlebells out of the sand and bring 10 of them to the top of the hill. If they get the golden kettlebell, that is worth 5. The losing player will have a 1 pound disadvantage. Jay quickly takes the lead, and once he starts, it becomes clear this is going to be a fairly simple challenge for him to win. The kettlebells are all scattered in a line up the hill, so they can just grab the closest ones. Rachel is giving him a run for his money, but by the time anybody else even makes it there, he’s half way done, taking all the closest kettlebells in the process. Marie finds the golden kettlebell, which puts her in a tie with the leaders. Jay wins the challenge. Rachel and Marie are obviously next. They are followed by Chelsea, Jennifer, David, Tumi, and Bobby. Tanya places last and will have a disadvantage.

After this challenge that’s really a promotional opportunity for Planet Fitness, Abby from season 8 joins them to offer some words of encouragement but really to promote The Biggest Loser Resort. It’s hard to say whether she has kept the weight off because she never looked overly thin in the first place, but what she has done is to keep positive and has since found a new husband. She’s followed by a commercial for Subway and then another for Yoplait and another for Larabar. Holy product promotion. Granted, I eat at Subway all the time, and I learned about Larabar, which is indeed a good snack, from this show.

Rachel has been carrying a pair of jeans around with her everywhere she lives for 6 years. The size 8 pants fit her, down from her starting size of 20.

Marie is starting to think that perhaps she does want to win after all. This is a change of pace from her original goal of just losing enough weight to have a baby and gain it back again.

Matt has renewed his plans for a wedding. His jacket was originally a 60. His new jacket is a 48.

The yellow line looms over the weigh in.

Tanya: 198 pounds (-3, +1, 1.00%)
Bobby: 254 pounds (-7, 2.68%) – over 100 pounds lost
David: 270 pounds (-12, 4.26%)
Chelsea: 171 pounds (-6, 3.39%)
Rachel: 161 pounds (-6, 3.59%)
Jennifer: 189 pounds (-6, 3.08%)
Jay: 192 pounds (-4, 2.04%)
Marie: 183 pounds (-4, 2.14%)
Tumi: 221 pounds (-4, 1.78%)

Tumi and Tanya have fallen below the yellow line. Tanya is non-threatening, whereas Tumi can easily be viewed as a threat, since she’s one of the biggest females who could easily drop over 50% with enough effort. Presumably, they will vote along team lines, which means 2 votes each. That leaves Bob’s team of 4 to make the decision, which gives them a lot of power that would take the other two teams joining forces to beat.

The dynamic this season is different than usual. Everybody’s just been having fun at summer camp so far. Now they have to actually start playing the game, without any alliances or background of previous votes to cloud the situation.

Votes
Bobby: Tumi
David: Tumi
Jay: Tumi
Marie: Tumi

With 4 votes, Tumi is not The Biggest Loser. Surprisingly enough, even Marie did not vote for her own teammate, as she wants to get rid of the bigger threat.

From here, the remaining contestants are heading the Olympic Training Center in Park City, Utah. Bob provides a warning: that weigh in is going to suck.

Although we’re getting treated to 2 hour episodes now, it’s not going to last long. Turns out the finale is only 1 month away. Which brings me to the rant at the top of this post. Why bother, NBC? There is no way to describe this scheduling other than… weird. And they actually paid people to come up with it.

Stay tuned to dingoRUE for another live recap of The Biggest Loser Season 15 Episode 12, which airs Tuesday at 8/7c on NBC.
