Everybody decided it was time to visit Pinehearst in Heroes Season 3 Episode 7. At Angela’s request, Sylar went to help his brother Peter. Elle went there just wanting to be done with her powers no matter what, but Claire wasn’t quite as desperate as her to trust someone who just had Peter thrown out a seven story window. Nathan and Tracy are also making their way there.
Hiro’s starting his spirit walk, 18 months ago.
Arthur and Linderman are joined at the hip in their corruption. Arthur plans to have a talk with Nathan to get him to stop digging… either that or he’ll kill him.
Then we move ahead to one year ago, where we see Sylar preparing a noose. Then he’s silly enough to jump just as he hears Elle walking in, and she cuts him down with her powers. She’s there with HRG, who’s hiding in a van and waiting to get Sylar to use his power on someone.
Meredith’s been captured by the company, which wants to train her to be come an agent. Given the choice between agent or prisoner, she chooses agent.
Arthur’s discussion with Nathan lets him know he won’t get anywhere in convincing him to not continue his quest. As Nathan’s driving, a madman with some road rage comes up from behind him. Heidi is still in the wreck, but Nathan manages to fly out and save himself. He knows Linderman was involved, and he promises he’ll get him and that Arthur better make a choice or he’ll get his.
Arthur says Linderman wouldn’t dare go after Nathan on his own. Angela knows that’s true, but he denies any involvement.
When Elle arrives to see Sylar, he decides he wants to show her his power of telekinesis.
Meredith has managed to capture a villain as part of her training. When she arrives to imprison him, she sees her brother Flint. They told him they’d make him an agent, too, yet he’s in a cage.
Sylar tells Elle she makes him feel special, and that maybe he can just be Gabriel again. She doesn’t think he’s going to kill again. Good luck with that. HRG gives her an ultimatum. Either get Sylar to kill, or hit the streets on her own.
Angela sees Linderman and Arthur together and realizes what he’s up to. Lucky for him he’s got a nifty mind control power.
Meredith’s got a message for her brother: they’re tricking him because he’s dumb. She busts him out, and they go to the nearest train. A train which they must blow up because they’ve been followed. Flint escapes, but Meredith is back under their control. She blames the company for killing her baby girl. Only Claire ain’t dead, and the guy with Meredith decides to have some compassion and gives her a get out of jail free card.
Linderman’s got a message for Angela. Unlike Arthur, he tells her the truth.
Meredith has brought Sylar a playmate. Trevor has an ability, too. She gets Sylar to turn by saying that Trevor’s so special. To stop him from killing him, though, she uses her power on him. But she’s not strong enough to prevent him from using his power stealing ability. Elle feels guilty, but HRG is quite fascinated by what he’s watching on the monitors.
As Angela and Arthur are arguing, he collapses. Turns out the soup wasn’t his mother’s recipe after all.
Nathan gets home while his father’s still alive, but it’s not in time to save him, or so they’re told. The doctor’s just a front, working for Arthur. Arthur’s alive, just paralyzed and unable to speak.
Hiro has learned what he needs to on his spirit walk. Arthur’s still alive. The painter, however, isn’t. Then Arthur shows up and puts his hands on Hiro’s head, as he begins to scream.
