The Biggest Loser Families Episode 9

Following black team’s horrible performance in The Biggest Loser Families Episode 8, the girls stuck together and voted out their only guy, Phil. These people are making it difficult to root for either team.

In a quite thoroughly revolting display, the blue team proves why everybody hates them. Vicky is absolutely thrilled that Phil is gone and can’t control her giggling. She’s glad he’s gone because he would be a horrible role model for America. And apparently she would be a good one.

Bob’s got a challenge for his team. Whoever runs the farthest for three minutes will win a banana fudge sundae. That’s a prize? Amy C manages to outrun the rest. There’s a catch. This is really a Jello/Cool Whip commercial in disguise.

Alison’s got an announcement. They’re no longer in teams. Vicky warns us we’ll have 4 blue standing in the finale. Scary thought. Then Alison asks them to follow her to the scale. In walks Phil. Vicky says she’ll need to see a psych doctor. Too easy.

Behind Phil are the other eliminated contestants, some of whom some people may actually remember. Jerry is not there with them, but only because he had to work. Only one of them will be returning, and it will be based on the challenge rather than weight loss. Still, they plan to see how the at home players have been doing.

Jerry: 339 pounds (-41, 10.78%)
Shellay: 177 pounds (-39, 18.05%)
Tom: 266 pounds (-48, 15.28%)
LT: 300 pounds (-57, 15.96%)
Adam: 305 pounds (-35, 10.29%)
Stacey: 190 pounds (-31, 14.02%)
Ed: 277 pounds (-58, 17.31%)
Amy P: 182 pounds (-47, 20.52%)
Phil: 263 pounds (-68 pounds, 20.54%)

So far the at home challenge is between Phil and his wife, the last two people eliminated. Shellay is also putting up some good numbers.

Vicky says in front of everyone that she’d like anybody to come back… except Phil. Does the term self control mean anything to her? Afterward, his wife’s crying because of the comments, so he confronts Vicky. She says he doesn’t deserve a spot in the game. Because he’s lost the most weight? She doesn’t believe she’s done anything wrong, Brady threatens him, and Heba begins her screeching. Then Stacey begins crying as well because the blue team is full of putzes. According to Heba, this chaos is all just Phil’s fault, and they wouldn’t be acting like asshats if he weren’t there.

In addition to getting back in the game, the winner of the challenge will have immunity at the weigh in. The challenge is steps. First to 1,000 wins. Tom’s not sure he can even finish. Stacey’s confident because she does step aerobics. Ed takes an early lead and is the first to 100. Phil’s on his heels, back by about 10 steps. At a couple hundred steps, Phil trips, which could cost him. Stacey passes LT to take third place, and she’s gaining fast. She than overtakes Phil. Ed looks like he’s tiring, while Stacey looks like she’s just getting started. Ed is first to 500. As they get into the 800s, Stacey’s about 10 steps behind. LT wants to see Stacey win and begins coaching her to give her that extra push. It’s a close race to the finish. As they get to the end, Ed gets his second wind and begins sprinting. Ed wins the challenge and returns to the game, giving team evil a big boost because now they’ve got two pairs of couples, along with fifth wheel Amy C, who probably should be realizing what a mess she’s going to be in if she doesn’t take matters into her own hands.

Ali from season 5 is back to visit the contestants. She’ll be taking them to Cynthia Sass of Prevention magazine to learn some nutrition tips. They also get $1,000 worth of groceries, and Michelle lands a spot on Prevention’s cover along with Ali.

The good news for the black team is that they had such a bad week last week. That’s about the only good news for them, as they don’t have a shot unless two blue go below, preferably not Amy C.

Ed: 273 pounds (-4)
Heba: 238 pounds (-9, 3.64%)
Coleen: 170 pounds (-7, 3.95%)
Amy: 181 pounds (-6, 3.21%)
Michelle: 194 pounds (-6, 3.00%)
Renee: 215 pounds (-7, 3.15%)
Vicky: 193 pounds (-8, 3.98%)
Brady: 264 pounds (-6, 2.22%)

This puts Brady and Michelle below the yellow line. Michelle’s only hope is that Amy realizes it’s a bad idea to be allied with two closely connected couples who will get rid of her as soon as they need to.

They won’t be given any time to decide. Instead, they will be be heading straight to the elimination room to talk about it there. Only they don’t really talk very much about it.

Votes
Vicky: Michelle
Renee: Brady
Coleen: Brady
Ed: Michelle
Heba: Michelle
Amy: Brady

Rather than voting along team lines, Amy follows the advice of her mother from earlier in the show to be careful because the others are there for themselves. Since it’s a tie vote, Brady will be going home because he had the lowest percentage of weight loss for the week. He is down from a size 48 pants to a size 34.

Based on the large amount of comments over on the Vicky post tonight, I’d imagine there are a lot of people breathing a sigh of relief over this move, at least those who are still watching, although obviously Vicky would have been a preferred boot over Brady. It ain’t over yet, though. Vicky hates Phil’s guts just because he was trying to get a member of the opposite team eliminated. No doubt she will go ballistic over a member of her team turning.

  1. Too bad, I can’t even watch the show anymore because these two bitches (Heba and Vicky) make me sick… it’s just not enjoyable.

  2. This show used to be so enjoyable to watch and made you want to watch and learn. The blue team sucks vicky is such a backstabber she does not derserve to be on this show. she is so dispicable i can’t wait for her to get her ass kicked off the team they will be getting really nasty with each other. Keep going black team keep going you are the derving ones.

  3. Totally agree with JuJu and Pat. I have loved this show from it’s first season , but these two bitches are nauseating….let’s just wait to see them get theirs!

  4. Vickie is a disgusting, evil, VILE bitch. She makes my stomache turn. I can hardly watch the show anymore. BL has really screwed up casting her. I was ready to not watch anymore if Michelle had been voted off. It has turned from being a good, uplifting family show into a train wreck nightmare of a show. It seems that each season it gets more and more mean-spirited and nasty people on it. The “casting” people are ruining it by thinking they are casting people that will keep the show interestig to making it one you just can’t watch anymore. They have completely lost the spirit of the show with Vickie, Brady, Hepha and Ed. What a complete bunch of disgarceful losers. They are all ugly to the core. And losing weight will never change that. Go AMY C & PHIL!!! You are both beautiful to the core. AMY C. you look absolutely gorgeous!! I wish you two all the best and all of God’s blessigs.
