America’s Got Talent 3 Episode 6

Posted by Shane on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 9:09 pm

We’re in the Big Apple for like the 18th time.

Perry Zanett believes he’s America’s next big thing and is dressed like a king to prove it. This should be decidedly bad. He does Shakespeare and proves to be a waste of time as expected, though he does get in a good zinger about Hasselhoff being outacted by a car.

Fun with Hand Shadows do… hand shadows. It’s actually not as bad as it sounds, and they get through. Apparently the concept of an act sustainable for an hour in Vegas is not taken into account here.

XL (that’s the best nickname he could come up with?) is there with his wife and young son. He’s a singer who hopes to be able to make ends meet with his music. Hasselhoff likes his vibe. Piers likes his version better than the original.

Next stop again is Los Angeles.

The Texas State Strutters have come to LA from deep in the heart of Texas (rather than just going to the audition in Dallas). 19-22 year old college girls dancing. You know they’re going through to Vegas. Piers thinks it was a little bit lax, but he likes them anyway. Sharon, likewise, is not overly impressed, and she says no. The other two, though, vote yes. (Video of Texas State Strutters performance)

Ronny B hopes he’s one of the finest singer-dancers. Yeah, on this planet apparently. The judges let him carry on despite the fact he sucks (or perhaps because of it). Hasselhoff calls him a freak show. Piers and Sharon are drinking out of Paula Abdul’s cup and say yes. (Video of Ronny B’s performance)

Father and son Darryl and Robert Ackerman (The Snake Kissers) perform the kiss of death on a live cobra. Jerry Springer tells us it’s the most dangerous thing ever attempted on TV, but Robert’s still alive after all these years. Robert kisses the snake on the head. Piers doesn’t get the point because it’s not like anybody died or anything. Hasselhoff enjoys it but doesn’t think it’s enough to go to the next round. Jerry makes sure he’s nice to the duo as they exit with their deadly snake in hands.

Michael Harrison hopes he can follow in Terry Fator’s footsteps. He’s no Terry Fator, but he’s quite entertaining nonetheless. (Video of Terry Fator’s performance)

Single mom Queen Emily David gave up her dream so she could raise her children, but she’s ready to get back out there now and give it a shot. She sings Chain of Fools. Hasselhoff says she’s got a natural gift and is awesome. Sharon wants to know where she’s been hiding. Piers tells her she’s got a great chance of winning. (Video of Queen Emily’s performance)

Big Brother 10 Episode 6

Posted by Shane on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 6:54 pm

Despite assurances from a powerless nominee that it would be in her best interest to use the veto, Michelle decided not to put her neck on the line in Big Brother 10 Episode 5, leaving the nominations the same, so either Dan or Steven will be going home tonight.

Steven’s got a new plan. He wants people to believe he’s on their side. He approaches Ollie, April, and Keesha. Afterwards, they decide that the other half of the house is going to be against them, so they need to make sure they’ve got somebody else on their side.

Dan makes a pitch to Michelle and Jessie, but he doesn’t want to drive people nuts and get desperate about it, so he makes it brief.

Angie still hates everybody and discusses with Memphis how much she continues to hate April and Ollie. They’re counting on Dan to bail them out with the numbers. Angie and Memphis believe it’s a secret that the fact that they’re allies is a secret.

Even though she hates April, Ollie, and Libra and wishes she weren’t in an alliance with them, Keesha pushes to solidify her alliance behind her plan of keeping Steven and bringing him in.

Libra wants Big Brother to make the competitions fair. Yeah, I suppose you want them to stop rigging them, too.

Julie wants to know about the love in the air between April and Ollie. Ollie doesn’t believe his father would care that he’s having unprotected sex on national TV with a girl he just met.

Renny’s son doesn’t think Jessie was brought up to respect the elderly.

Jessie sees his biggest weakness is that people may group him and Michelle together. He’s concerned that not nominating Renny may come back to bite him.

Votes
Michelle-Steven
Memphis-Steven
Angie-Steven
Jerry-Steven
Libra-Steven
April-Steven
Ollie-Steven
Renny-Steven
Keesha-Steven

By a unanimous vote, Steven has been evicted from the Big Brother house. He’s happy to be going home to someone special, and the houseguests all have nice things to say.

April’s blowdrying her hair and sees an alien. Jessie’s staring at himself in the mirror as usual and sees an alien. Renny’s washing dishes and takes quite a bit of time before noticing an alien. Then things start to disappear by alien intervention. This is obviously all part of a competition. Whoever is not eliminated in each round gets to pick who they want to compete against each other in this one, typically a good way to see where people’s loyalties stand.

April is up against Dan first. Dan is correct, and April is eliminated.
Dan picks Renny and Libra to be the next two. Renny is incorrect and is eliminated.
Memphis and Angie are next. Memphis is correct, and Angie is eliminated.
Ollie and Jerry are next. Jerry is incorrect and is eliminated.
Michelle and Keesha are next. Michelle is incorrect and is eliminated.
Libra and Dan are next. Libra is correct, and Dan is eliminated.
Memphis and Keesha are next. Keesha is correct, and Memphis is eliminated.
Ollie and Libra compete to see who will be in the final two. Libra is correct, and Ollie is eliminated.
It’s down to Libra and Keesha. Libra is incorrect, and Keesha is the new HOH.

Jessie Big Brother 10 Nude Pictures

Considering how in love with himself Jessie Godderz has proven to be so far in Big Brother 10, this probably doesn’t come as a surprise to anyone. Some modelling photos of him naked have surfaced. Nothing too revealing (not yet anyway).

Big Brother 10 Episode 5

Posted by Shane on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at 8:12 pm

After Jessie won HOH in Big Brother 10 Episode 4, it became even more apparent that the house was split into two sides. Dan made a decent effort to plead his case. Angie made a (weak) effort as well. Steven didn’t even try.

Steven says his feelings are hurt because he doesn’t like Jessie’s reasoning of offending him for not going upstairs (though last time he gloated about not caring enough to go see the HOH room). His plan is to read and hide in his room.

Jessie believes he doesn’t have a target on his back.

Memphis and Jessie want to be allies. Memphis says he trusts Michelle (a good pick for both of them because Jessie appears interested in a showmance) and Angie (the chick who tried to screw them over last week).

After discussing Hurricane Katrina with Renny, Steven has more respect for her.

Keesha hopes to win veto so she can save Steven. She feels sorry for him because he’s been through so much in his life. Yeah, so would a jury. Her allies continue to not get her logic and are turning on her (still).

Jessie picks Michelle for veto.
Dan picks Libra (houseguest’s choice).
Steven picks Keesha.

Dan plans to throw the competition so he’s seen as non-threatening. At least he gets how to play this game. People were saying Brian was the Dr. Will and had to go as a result, but I’m seeing some Dr. Will in this guy.

The veto competition is to spell out phrases with license plates. A series of plates are revealed on a wall and must be unscrambled. Dan answers wrong and is eliminated on the first question (don’t be that obvious). Jessie also gets eliminated on the first question. Keesha is correct and scores 10 points. Memphis is wrong on the second question and is eliminated. Michelle gets the second question right and scores 10. The third question is worth a slop pass, but whoever gets it will be eliminated from the veto competition. Michelle wants Keesha to answer it. Libra says she knows the answer but refuses to answer, as she’s worried about what Keesha will do if she wins veto. Libra gets the fourth question wrong and is eliminated anyway. Keesha gets the final question wrong and is eliminated. Michelle wins the power of veto.

Steven warns Keesha the others will stab her in the back as soon as they can. She decides she hates Libra, and Renny says she wants her gone as well because it gives her the opportunity to shift attention away from herself.

Keesha confronts everyone and says she had no plans to change anything. She says she was told by someone that someone else was talking about her. Whoever someone and someone are. She wants to know if people really think she’s stupid enough to keep Steven around. No response.

After this discussion, she goes to Jessie and Memphis to try to turn them against Libra. They consider backdooring Libra (and keeping the two people who they know are after them).

Renny exaggerates a conversation she had with Libra about Jerry being old, and then Jerry takes it a step further by misinterpreting it even more. Libra flips out and says it’s not true. She finds out that it was Renny spreading gossip. Then Renny gets to screaming as well. This plan of stirring the pot is only smart if you’re more cautious about it.

Michelle’s not so sure about the plan to use the veto because she’s the one who has to stick her neck on the line. She gets assurances from Steven (one of the nominees), which doesn’t exactly set her mind at ease.

Michelle ultimately decides to not use the veto. Dan doesn’t care. Steven plans to give people some swirlies. Keesha didn’t learn from last week (and the nominations that followed this week) and wants to be the latest person to side with the minority.
