Desiree turned on her alliance, then she got mad at them when they found out. Unable to rally either side to her cause after this, she was not surprisingly eliminated in Survivor: Ghost Island Episode 10.
Domenick goes searching and finds a coconut with an emblem on it. At least it’s not yet another easy to stumble across hidden immunity idol. Rather, it’s a convincing fake idol that can be planted for someone else to randomly trip over.
For the immunity challenge, they will pull up on a bar, clamping a ball between two sets of jaws. The twist is that two people will win immunity, and two people will be voted out. They will be divided into two temporary tribes. The last person left standing will go to the second Tribal Council with their temporary tribe. Michael, Laurel, Domenick, Wendell, and Kellyn are on the orange tribe; Chelsea, Sebastian, Angela, Jenna, and Donathan are on the purple tribe. Kellyn drops quickly. Michael is next. Donathan is behind him, the first to go from purple. Laurel is next. Sebastian and Jenna drop, leaving two from each tribe. Angela drops. Chelsea wins immunity and immediately drops, passing on the opportunity to go to the last Tribal because she wasn’t going to beat these other two. Wendell drops. Domenick wins immunity.
Michael is the easy target. Unable to borrow Donathan’s idol to show people, he merely pretends that he has an idol. Kellyn’s defensive play is to sacrifice Laurel. Thanks to Wendell, Laurel’s defensive play can now be to vote Kellyn.
On the other side, Malolo is outnumbered as usual. That makes Jenna the target. Both she and Donathan assume she is the more likely target. Rather than returning the favor, she calls him an idiot, and will happily vote against him. How does that help her?
After a quick Tribal Council in which Jenna says she’s going home and nobody argues, they proceed to vote.
Donathan plays his idol. He plays it for himself. Probably a waste, but a good decision not to save Jenna.
Donathan (does not count)
With 3 votes, Jenna has been voted off the island. Had she forced a tie as she planned, she could have saved Sebastian and thrown Donathan to the wolves. For some reason.
Everybody other than new jury member Jenna can now head back to camp as the other tribe joins the festivities.
Wendell and Domenick are controlling the vote, or at least they think they are. They whisper to each other, leaving the others to wonder.
Laurel (Kellyn’s extra vote)
With such a split vote, two people almost did control the vote, but Kellyn’s secret advantage put a stop to that and created a tie. This math is easy to do, and people know something is up. Looking at her physical reactions, Kellyn is not doing a very good job of hiding that she is the one with the extra vote.
With 2 votes, Michael has been voted off the island. His bluff almost worked, but once it was called, he became the easy vote again.
