Survivor: Millennials Vs. Gen X Episode 11

As a civil war brewed between the Gen X factions, Chris ended up on the losing side and was eliminated in Survivor: Millennials Vs. Gen X Episode 10.

Zeke just backstabbed Bret and Sunday, but they don’t mind. Whatever David tells them gets back to Zeke, which in turn leads to Zeke revealing that David has an idol. Zeke’s plan is to target David right away, but David wants to just hang around for a few more votes before doing anything about it.

For the reward challenge, they are divided into three teams of three. Their arms and feet are bound, and they must slither through the sand before completing a snake puzzle. Reward is a chopper ride and picnic. This time, the odd person out automatically goes on the reward instead of being left out. Hannah, Jessica, and Adam are purple; Will, Ken, and Jay are green; Sunday, Zeke and Bret are Orange. David chooses the white rock. Green is by far the most physical team, and they take a big lead. They are probably not the best puzzle team, however. Orange team wins reward.

The reward presents a good opportunity for Bret to reveal to Zeke that he is gay, too.

Hannah has made a decision that she would rather ally with David than Zeke. David’s kind of awkwardly stumbled into his position of power, whereas Zeke has deliberately seized power.

For the immunity challenge, they stand behind a cage door, blindly maneuver a handle through a maze, then complete a slide puzzle. This is mostly dumb luck, although these challenges normally come down to the puzzle. Jay is the first to finish the maze, and he solves the puzzle before anyone else does.

Zeke has redrawn the battle lines by targeting David, which means they are the two who will be receiving votes. Until Zeke realizes he can’t trust Hannah as she stumbles in response to his questions, so he wants to get rid of her instead rather than trying to vote out the guy with an idol. She senses this and asks David for the idol.

And then they get to another Tribal Council in which Hannah starts whispering to people, which is how the season began.

David decides to play his idol. Then Adam reveals that they were whispering that they want to vote for Ken. This encourages David to play the idol for Ken. I don’t think that’s the real target.

They had a chance to escape unscathed, but Adam blew it up. If they were whispering they wanted to vote for Ken and you are not part of their alliance, they probably wanted you to overhear it.

Because it is a tie, they will revote.

It’s tied again. They must unanimously agree on whether to get rid of Zeke or Hannah. No chance of that happening. Zeke and Hannah join Ken and Jay in safety, and the others will draw rocks with a 1 in 6 chance of being sent home. She seemed to be the most afraid of going to rocks, and Jessica draws the black rock and is eliminated. I don’t think she had much choice.

As she had promised early on, Jessica will be leaving her legacy advantage to Ken.
