Jillian Michaels Returning to Biggest Loser

Deja vu.

After getting kicked off Dr. Phil’s show in just a few months, Jillian Michaels has decided to return to The Biggest Loser for season 14, which begins in January. She’s been gone for two seasons, which presumably has given Dolvett enough time to cement his spot on the show, as he will be returning as well. I’m perfectly fine going back to Bob and Jillian, though.

After the first two seasons, Jillian quit the show once before as well. Kim Lyons replaced Jillian in season 3, with both trainers being featured in season 4, but she was never heard from again.

“As a former overweight teen, I know firsthand how dramatically weight issues can affect every aspect of a child’s life,” said Michaels. “Having recently become a mother of two, I am more passionate than ever about helping empower children and families with the information and resources they need to live a healthier life.”

To that end, this season’s twist will be the inclusion of teenagers on each team. The kids (ages 13-17) will have their weight count toward the team results, but they cannot be eliminated.
