The X Factor, a singing show similar to American Idol that’s already a success in the UK, will be coming to Fox in 2011 with Simon Cowell serving as judge and executive producer.

I was wondering when I could get a listing for tryouts for the x factor I’m too old to try out for American Idol. I’m thirty three years old and have three girls.. I work for a electric municipal company. As a fiber installer.. I’m a musician and write and sing …. Music is my passion and always will be… Please respond and let me know.. My father was a Baptist minister I’ve been brought up singing in church’s singing.. But I love folk music and singer song writer kind of stuff… I love all kinds of music and listen to every variation of music known to man..
X Factor is expected to audition this fall, so I’m expecting a schedule will be available in the summer. Nothing has been announced yet.
Does anyone know what month it will start, and when it does it is going to blow American Idol out of the water as far as ratings and quality

Wondering when, where, X-Factor tryouts will be? I’m old but think this is like “I Coulda been an American Idol”. I can carry a tune without a bucket.
how does the audition works, how long can one sing? will they know right right away on day of audition if they are chosen to be on the TV show??? what about the music or cd-is it timed?????/

Hi, I’ve been singing for 40 years, and I’m 55 years old, I did an Elvis Presley act back then, but now I want to do a Tribute to all the Old Country Music, a show with my style to it but old songs like Hank sr. or Willie, Or Merle Haggard, Johnny Horton, I did these songs as a Kid growing up in Arkansas.
