LUKE ADAMS
Hometown: Denver, CO
Age: 23
Occupation: College Graduate
Relationship: MOTHER/SON
This mother/son team is determined to show the world that nothing can stop them from living out their dreams. They enjoy hiking and traveling together and share a strong bond. Luke has been deaf since the age of two and Margie became his link to the hearing world. He uses sign language to communicate.
Luke is a bully using his disability to hide his mean streak and Margie is his enabler. Shame on you both.
Hey Margie and Luke! I watch the Amazing Race and I want you to win the million dollars! My cousin has autism and I feel really bad for her! I can imagine how bad you feel Luke! Even if you do not win the million dollars I will still be happy for you both!
I would like luke adams e-mail address my 8 year ole grand son wants to send him a congradulation card
My heart broke in many pieces when Luke and Margie didn’t win. I was hoping so hard, and I really thought they would for the first half of the final episode. Luke is such a great kid. His mom is a great lady. She certainly taught him to persevere and to try to be out front. I’m so happy that, in spite of the loss, he was able to thank her at the end of the show. The first prize would have made such a world of difference for him. He needed to win. He has such determination, such a will to excel, and he tried so very hard to do his best. I wish I could be a personal friend. I even learned a few signs in AmeSLan, and the manual alphabet, just in case I ever get the chance to see him in person. Good Luck, Luke! -Lark
In the beginning, I was really hoping for Margie and Luke to win, but after the incidents with Kisha & Jen, I lost all respect for them.
I can understand why Luke has a huge chip on his shoulder, but that still doesn’t excuse his outbursts and bad attitude.
