This has been expected for some time due to the struggling ratings, and Fox confirmed it today. Prison Break will air its final four episodes (possibly more) starting Friday April 17 at 8/7c (yes, Friday). The good news is that we can hopefully expect a worthwhile conclusion since it’s planned out well in advance.
I JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT THIS!!!!!!!! REALLY PISSED!!! IT WAS ONE OF THE ONLY SHOWS ON T.V. I ACTUALLY ENJOYED. WHATEVER…. FOX’s OTHER SHOWS JUST SIMPLY BLOW. HOPEFULLY I’LL SEE WENTWORTH IN ANOTHER GOOD SHOW ON A DIFFERENT NETWORK.
Very sad to hear about the cancelletion of Prison Brake. I used to look forwards to Mondays to watch the only show I watched in
Fox. Well…. I guess this bye bye Fox…. you really sucks now.
I have been a faithful follower of Prison Break since the beginning. This is one of the best drama’s Fox has ever aired.
I like alot of people I’m sure,looked forward to Monday nights.
Hopefully, Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell will find other acting roles. They will be missed. Kudos to the writers of Prison Break!!

Prison Break is currently scheduled to return on Fox’s Friday schedule. They’re looking to close it out with as few viewers as possible apparently. The next episode will air on April 17.

I just found out tonight (while watching the season finale) that Prison Break was cancelled! OMG! I can’t believe this. I LOVED this show!! I would rearrange my personal schedule/errands around watching this show AND 24! I’ve watched it since day 1 and have bought all the previous seasons. Looks like I’ll be buying this season as well. I hope Fox doesn’t cancel “24” any time soon but if Keifer Sutherland keeps getting into stuff, (that issue he had with that designer) we won’t have that to watch either….Man, I’m gonna miss Prison Break!
Prison Break was an excellent show. It had the best writers who commited to showing a creative edge, characters who were encapturing, and a show that has become my favorite. I am so saddened that the show ended, and I thing killing Michael in the finally was the wrong ending. Michael was the best believable stategic thinker in an episode I have ever seen. He gave those of us hope he believed in the underdog or the person who had passion and belief in people (like his brother). Could there be some type of spinnoff to this excellent show, I guess not without Michael. Or could it have been a plot to sway those againt any reprecussions againt Michael and Linc!!! However it goes, this was an excellent show that I think could have been spun off in so many ways, and as you can tell I was a true fan.
Two years ago, there was talk of a spinoff http://www.dingorue.com/2007/10/24/prison-break-spinoff/ . That was when its ratings were better, though. I suppose it’s possible, albeit unlikely.
i would like to say prison break was one of my favorite series i think it was a mistake to cancel it. They have great actors etc. and its still to this day all the way from the beginning,my favorite shows. It was a great inspiration thank you to the directors and actors
