Big Brother 10 Episode 4

Brian played himself right out the game and was the first person to be evicted from the Big Brother house in Big Brother 10 Episode 3. With his HOH win, Jessie, the original target last week, reversed his fortune and now has the power to decide who he wants to be nominated. Kinda.

Jerry doesn’t feel any remorse over what he did because Brian tried (badly) to play everybody, including him.

Angie has decided she hates the whole house, but she at least realizes she was a dumbass. Dan knows he stuck out like a sore thumb.

Jessie’s still saying that Renny should have apologized by now since he’s HOH (even though she has apologized multiple times already). Immediately following the HOH competition, though, Dan, Angie, and Steven decided to go to their own side, making it pretty clear who’s got targets on their backs.

The girls hope they can prevent Jessie from wasting his HOH week and putting up Renny. She’s the type of player who people will keep saying “We can get her next week”… until it’s final two and she’s still standing despite having done nothing to get there.

Steven doesn’t want to see Jessie’s HOH room, and he doesn’t even pretend to be interested. He just doesn’t go. Yep, keep isolating yourself, dude.

Jessie’s first pitch is to put Renny on the block. During this group discussion, nobody offers any support at all for Renny’s nomination (on the contrary, they tell him he’s an idiot for wanting to nominate her). They want him to target the other side. They also notice that Keesha may or may not be with them.

Jerry’s wife is sick, but he has promised her he won’t put her in a nursing home no matter how bad things get.

Despite being very religious, Dan doesn’t have an issue with Steven being gay and looks at it as an opportunity to learn something new.

Angie wants to chat with Jessie. He wants to know why she hasn’t bothered to talk with him in the 24 hours prior to that. He tells her he’s not an idiot and that he’s actually an intellectual. Or something.

It’s time for the food competition, another attempt by the producers to hospitalize the players. Ollie, Jessie, Angie, Michelle, Dan, and Steven are on the green team. April, Jerry, Renny, Keesha, Libra, and Memphis are on the red team. Because the entire explanation is in a really bad French accent, it’s hard to follow what the heck is going on here, but I think I finally got it. The throwers must pick out their team’s colored cork. The pluggers must plug up the holes in the tower using the corks the throwers throw to them. The catchers must get wine from the other team’s tower to fill their bottles. Nobody’s surprised to see that the green team wins and is on food, while the red team is on slop. Libra and April are back on slop again and are cranky about it. Keesha’s sick of them, but they’re all already turning on her anyway, so it’s a little late for that.

Dan goes into Jessie’s room and hopes to get him alone before the nominations. He plans poorly, failing to realize that somebody might follow Jessie up there. Since Ollie goes with him, Dan scurries into the bathroom and pretends he really had to go. Later, he has a better plan (to ring Jessie’s bell when he knows he’s in there on his own). When he returns, he says he expects to be put on the block, but that he proved he is loyal and won’t forget if he helps him out.

Memphis didn’t talk to his father growing up… until he found out he had 6 months left to live and decided to get back in Memphis’ life. Because of that, Memphis says he doesn’t ever get emotional. He hopes to be able to use that to his advantage in this game and be able to not blow up on anyone.

Nominations
Keesha is safe.
Ollie is safe.
Michelle is safe.
Jerry is safe.
April is safe.
Libra is safe.
Memphis is safe.
Angie is safe.
Renny is safe.

Steven and Dan have been nominated for eviction. Both of them made their own beds. Dan at least made an effort, though, whereas Steven just kept digging and digging. With that said, Jessie secretly wants Dan as his ally, but he hopes Steven goes home. Of course, if that’s his plan, he needs to be prepared for it to come back and bite him in the butt because Dan could easily be heading out the door.
