CBS BIO
Jerry is a diehard Big Brother fan and hasn’t missed one episode in all nine seasons. He even watches Showtime After Dark and the 24/7 feed.

Jerry left high school in the 10th grade then, at age 38, returned to college. He went to Central State, Rochester Institute of Technology and Penn State and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management ten years later. Before then, he spent four years in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in 1954. He has been a devoted husband to the same woman for 54 years, and stays physically fit so he can take care of her as she has recently been diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Jerry has two children, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He feels he has an excellent marriage and attributes a good marriage to allowing your partner their own space.

Jerry worked for 38 years in a sales/marketing environment and retired as a general manager at a multi-million dollar sales and marketing organization. He describes himself as being very competitive and says that being number one has been a driving force in his life. He likes to play golf and shoot pool and watches basketball, baseball, tennis and golf. He volunteers at an abandoned animal rescue, serves as a property manager, enjoys playing cards and working out at the gym. His favorite movie is “The Ten Commandments” and he listens to big band music, rock and roll and Elvis Presley. The perfect day for him is one where he is in touch with his family.

The political office he’d most like to hold is that of President of the United States which he thinks of as the most challenging. His heroes are those who serve in the military and he believes they deserve credit for the fact that we live in a free society. He describes himself as liking to touch, being fair and considerate.

  1. As a retired USAF Master Sergeant I take offense to you having/letting the people on big brother 10 call you Colonel. As you were a high school drop out and only spent 4 years in the Marines you could not possibly have reached officer status. Why don’t you tell them the truth? I served in Vietnam, Egypt, and jumped out of airplanes for 4 years. I did not go to the Persian Gulf, but do respect those who do enough that I would never wear military gear which I did not earn.
Grow up and man up like a real person would……

  2. I agree Alfred! I come from a family of career military members. I’m a Navy wife and an Army brat. I’m just as ticked off about it as you are. Jerry needs to be called out and held to account for his behavior in the BB house.

#1 An enlisted military man would never allow someone to call them by an officers rank or wear the clothing. Jerry would have been 17 years old when he joined, so I have little doubt that he was enlisted. Your right, someone with integrity would not pretend to have achieved an honorable military accomplishment that he did not earn (IE: the O6 rank of a Colonel as opposed to a possible E4 rank of a Corporal). Jerry spent 34 more years of his adult life as a sales manager (38) than he did in the military (4) and yet everyone, including himself, is under the impression that he is a military man through and through. Military service should not be used in that way. No military man I know would disrespect the uniform or the armed forces the way that Jerry has done this season on BB10. My guess is that he will get hammered on this issue during the Q & A portion of the Finale, and rightfully so.

#2 Recently Jerry has become an embarrassment due to his hatred and hypocrisy regarding Dan. I hope he gets hammered on this issue as well. Apparently it’s A-OK for Jerry, as his first official action in the house as HOH, to take off his military garb (yeah I know) due to breaking his word to Brian (whom he had an alliance with) but when ‘Christian’ Dan does it, he’s no longer deserving of any respect as a human being, who Jerry has judged will go to Hell (GD’it and he knows because he’s religious too – Jerry’s words paraphrased) because Dan’s evil and Jerry thinks it’s appropriate to bad mouth, belittle, lie about (RE: prison), spew hatred at daily and treat him worse than he would treat one of the dogs in his kennels. Somehow Jerry managed to justify his actions but Dan is unworthy of even attempted rescue if he were drowning. Yeah, that’s the epitome of an honorable man whose favorite movie is The Ten Commandments and describes himself as fair and considerate. Right! Obviously, everyone except Memphis finds it perfectly alright to bash Chrisitians, who for some reason seem to be held to a much higher standard than others in the house. Jerry might want to get out his Bible and do a little studying along with a lot of praying.

#3 I can only imagine that if his wife is watching the show, that she is mortified at his behavior. Within mere minutes of his coming into the house, Jerry is already feeling up a 30 years old woman. Over the weeks he’s made and broken alliances, gone back on his word, lied, treated people with utter disrespect, acted like a tattling, gossipy school girl, used his 4 years of military service from more than half a century ago as a cornerstone of his life while not caring enough about that service to correct inaccuracies, makes perverted comments as if he’s a dirty old man, is very demeaning to women, spews hatred and anger at every chance he gets, pre-judges people to bad mouth them to others, chooses not to see his own hypocrisy, constantly contradicts himself and pathetically whines to the point where no one in the house even wants to be around him. He’s exhibited disgraceful behavior and should be ashamed of himself.

If Jerry is a devoted husband (yeah, I didn’t even touch on that one this time), an honorable man with integrity, is honest, fair and considerate, a Christian, a distinquished military Colonel, and a decent person… then I must be Mary Magdelyn during the day and Joan of Arc at night.

Looking forward to Jerry having to answer some hard questions about all of this. That is, if anyone is brave enough and is allowed to ask anything given his age and family situation. He doesn’t play with kid gloves, nor should we.

  3. I agree, someone needs to dig up his actual rank at discharge. I doubt very much that he could have been anywhere near a Colonel after serving with the Marines for 4 years while enlisting at 17.

  4. Alfred,

Make sure you salute me when you see me. I’m a college graduate unlike you.

Being a retired Master Sergeant only tells me you were’nt smart enough to go to college.

Keep saluting those 22yr old officers they still out rank you…

  5. Jerry “The Colonel”
You assume Alfred is not a college graduate. The fact that he is a RETIRED Master Sergeant tells everyone that he has accomplished much in his life and should be very proud. Maybe Alred received a degree at some point in his life. Unlike you, a high school drop out and no college degree, you would have us believe that after spending 4 years in the Marines you left with the rank of Colonel. You know what happens when you “assume” And, if you’re so smart, the contraction of “were not” is “weren’t”. Didn’t they teach you that in college?

  6. Curous, too?

What’s with that name? First of all if I had a nickel for everytime I’ve seen a master sergeant kissing the ass of a 20yr. old lieutenant, I would not have to be on the show. Also, It’s a nickname get over it already.

  7. Semper Fi, thank you for your Service.
My father who was a veteran of WWII, Korea and Vietnam is from your Home Town.
We just want to know what rank you were discharged from the USMC with. I was medically retired from the USMC as a GYSGT after 18 years of service with extreme injuries. I also have a Masters Degree but chose to stay enlisted. In my MOS it was alot better being enlisted, more chances at travel and excitement.
Thank you Jerry for your service.
Just answer these idiots question of what rank you held.
    Semper Fi, Gyst K

  8. Jerry,
Are you surprised to find that you aren’t as loved as you thought you were? The people who had the live feeds saw the real you and, by majority, think you’re a jerk.

  9. Jerry,
After all this time I still find you the most disgusting man that has ever been on Big Brother. I hope it was all worth it to you. I am sure that your family finds you as sick as we TV viewers did.
The comments that you made about Keesha tell me that you should never be left alone with any child. I hope that your family and neighbors and most of all the local Police know this as well. Maybe CBS will be more diligent in their screening process in the future. You are the worst of the worst and what is so bad you knew cameras were on you! A man like you has no morals!
