Dan attended Michigan State University and earned a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology. He is currently working as a teacher in an all boys Catholic school.
He is conservative and not a fan of liberals. He doesn’t think that America would have been ready for a female president and if Hillary Clinton had won the presidency, he would have moved out of the country. He describes vegans as weird tree-huggers and believes that religion is important and that it helps to establish basic values. He thinks it becomes more important as you get older.

Dan has now surpassed Dr. Will as the BEST BB player of all time! However since this is a double elimination week, he might be going home – depending on who gets HOH, but it was awesome to see someone actually PLAY this game!

Certainly no offense intended, and I can’t imagine most people take offense to it. However to address this concern, I have modified the response.
I appreciate the way that Dan is representing teachers and the Detroit Metro area in a positive way. He has been my favorite player all season. However, I am glad I didn’t read his CBS profile until now. I am offended by some parts of it, and I probably wouldn’t have liked him if I had read it earlier.
Dan really has shown himself to be on the level of Dr. Will and Mike Boogie. Everything he’s done in this game has been done with the game in mind. He saw possibility where others saw limitations. Even when he was under continuous fire, he managed to keep his cool and continue strategizing. It was his unique ability to be focused and dynamic through the game that got him this far, and he is uniquely the only person deserving of that money for all he’s been through in this game. I hope the stupid, petty, emotional girls of the house realize (like Keisha did) that Dan completely outplayed everyone in the house. I am certainly a huge fan of Dan.

DAN, you were amazing to watch and I am SO HAPPY that you won! You are the most deserving player and you were so entertaining with your strategy!
