Results will be posted live as they become available.
After killing an hour, the results come in at about 2 minutes before the show’s done. No big surprise there.
As has been expected for about 6 weeks now, it’s a battle of the Davids. Syesha Mercado is eliminated. The final two contestants David Archuleta and David Cook will compete for the title of American Idol 7 winner next week.
