The final three in Who Wants to be a Superhero 2 came down to The Defuser (Jarret Crippen, 38 year-old police detective), Hygena (Melody Mooney, 36-year-old homemaker), and Hyper-Strike (John Stork, 21 year-old circus performer).
In the end, Stan Lee picked The Defuser as the winner and America’s newest superhero. The Defuser’s prize is to star in a comic book, be an action figure, and be in a science fiction movie. Stan said The Defuser has the heart of a hero, is courageous, and is a leader. Hyper-Strike told him it couldn’t happen to a better guy, and Hygena was happy that he was always there to cheer her up. At the end of the day, it will probably be argued that, despite the fact that Hyper-Strike had all the traits of a superhero, the choice was based on the winner being a cop.

Is there going to be a 3rd season for So You Want To Be a Superhero?
It does not appear at this time that there will be a season 3, but it has not been ruled out either.
I would like to see it come back. It was fun entertainment and promoted what the nature of a real superhero is. That a superhero isn’t just bout being physically strong, or using their super powers to wipe out villains. Being kind and helpful to others and truthful, loyal and true to ones self, is just as important. And because of this anyone can be a superhero, if they work on having those qualities. This is a great message to kids
I have been trying to be a applicant on your show Who Wants to be A superhero. I filled out the application, but it was sent back to me, I made the home video.I have done everything that I was supposed to do. Then I sent it in shortly after the 2nd season ended & it was sent back to me. I can only assume that there was not going to be another season at the time. I have heard rumors that there is going to be additional season.
