What can I say, I’m one of the people out there that actually likes Perez Hilton and will gladly admit to the fact. The guy gets hated on more than any other blogger I know of, but I guess that’s the price you pay for becoming one of, if not the single most successful bloggers in North America.

Perez Hilton (real name: Mario Lavandeira) has been elevated to near celebrity status through his blog and gets to meet people I could only dream of meeting. He gets invited to all the best parties, gets mass amounts of swag, makes a 6-figure income and, best of all, gets to meet some of my absolutely favorite celebrities. Just recently Perez had the distinct honor of meeting NBC Heroes star Milo Ventimiglia at one such party. Milo was hanging out, having a good time with some of his friends and agents from CAA, and apparently even Milo is a fan of Perez Hilton and a regular reader.

In case you can’t tell, this is me, being jealous.

So you say you’re a Perez fan and will admit to it, but you can only tell me that you admire him for the results of his work ( income, parties). His actual “work”, you do not defend, which is of course why Perez is so controversial. Goals don’t justify the means…
