Prison Break Season 3 Episode 6

In Prison Break season 3 episode 5, the escape plans started to take shape. While watching the guards, they got caught, which resulted in Scofield’s cell being taken away. Mahone, an ally for the time being, managed to come up with an alternative plan.

Tonight, we will get to see both episodes 6 and 7 in a special 2 hour block, so stick around for the live blog.

Scofield confronts the guy from last episode who said he knew Whistler. He says he swears he worked with him at a hotel in France. Mahone’s concerned Whistler’s got a stalker.

Michael tells his brother the new plan. The guard with the cup of coffee needs to be taken care of by putting something in his coffee to make sure he’s unconscious. Lincoln continues to lie about Sara being okay, but Michael’s not buying it. He refuses to go anywhere if he doesn’t see pictures of LJ and Sara by 2:30 that afternoon, a couple hours from then (and also about half an hour before the planned escape).

Susan tells LJ a story about how she was a hostage and tried to run, which led her to be recaptured and abused. She tells him if he doesn’t try to be a hero, he’ll be fine.

Mahone gets a visit from an old friend, FBI agent Lang. She offers him a deal, a move out of the prison and an 8 year sentence. She tells him to take the deal, or he’ll be in prison for the rest of his life. He’s not interested.

The new prisoner’s now dead, in a dispute settled outside the ring, which upsets Lechero. There is no shortage of possible suspects, as this guy’s pissing off a lot of people. Because he’s an asshat, Sammy pulls McGrady aside. He says he saw one person go into the stairwell, then he heard an argument. That person? Whistler, of course.

Scofield blames Mahone, then later blames Bellick as well. Both insist they didn’t do it. Lechero has a chat with Whistler, who makes a convincing argument that it doesn’t need to be resolved right away. Lechero says they have all the time in the world, and that he can stay in the chair until they do figure things out.

Sucre identifies who he believes is the correct guard they want to take out. Lincoln tries to give him a coffee that’ll knock him out, but it doesn’t work. So Sofia steps in and asks for a ride from Link, and the guard readily offers to help her.

T-Bag comes up with a plan. He tells Scofield to drop Sammy’s ring in the blood to set him up.

While on the way to where Sofia says she’s going, the guard stops and propositions her. She pretends she’s one of Lechero’s girls, which makes him give up, but it’s enough distraction to give her the opportunity to switch coffee cups with him.

Lincoln lets Susan know there’s a complication drugging the guard. She gets suspicious because she was under the impression they were breaking out at 9 at night, rather than in the middle of the afternoon. So she threatens to kill LJ, which gets the truth out of him.

Contrary to T-Bag’s plan, Michael instead decides he wants to setup Mahone, who shortly thereafter receives another offer of 4 years of minimum security prison. While Michael’s blaming Mahone, he’s being escorted out of the prison, apparently having accepted the deal.

Lechero seems to want to kill Whistler, and Scofield calls him a joke for killing someone for no reason. Lechero does stab someone, the guy standing next to Whistler, who’s been smoking cigars Augusto used to pay to Lechero as tribute.

Because of the dead body, Sucre gets another chance to spray down the fence, hopefully reducing the odds of electrocution.

Susan gives Lincoln the picture he asked for. Too bad it’s the same newspaper Sara was holding last time. With that, Lincoln finally tells Michael Sara’s dead, but they still need to break out so LJ doesn’t die. Scofield blames Whistler (or so he says) and throws down the chicken foot.

Prison Break Season 3 Episodes 6 & 7 Preview

Prison Break season 3 episode 6 Photo Finish will be delayed due to World Series Game 5 (assuming there is a game 5 at this pace). It will air back-to-back with episode 7 Vamonos instead in a two hour showing on Monday November 5 at 8/7c.

Here is a 4 minute spoiler video clip for those two episodes.

Susan tells LJ a story about what happened when she was held hostage and tells him it’s a hostage exchange, and he’ll be fine if he doesn’t try to be a hero. Then Mahone gets an offer to go to a better prison in the US in return for testifying.

Prison Break Spinoff

Hollywood Reporter reports that Fox has ordered a script for a spinoff, tentatively titled Prison Break: Cherry Hill, based on Molly, a character who will be introduced on Prison Break later this season. The show is being written by Prison Break executive producer Matt Olmstead and co-executive producer Zack Estrin.

Like Michael Scofield, Molly is also suffering from a family tragedy at the hands of the Company. Molly ends up in a women’s prison because of the revenge she sought, after which she learns her loved ones are still alive.

“There is an ironic similarity between Molly and Michael — they’re both emotionally banged-up, both have lost loved ones, and both want the people responsible to pay,” Olmstead said.

In the event Cherry Hill does not get picked up, Molly will continue as a regular character on Prison Break.

Prison Break Season 3 Episode 5

In Prison Break Season 3 episode 4, we found out what was in the box. It was Sara’s head. That puts an end to the mystery whether or not she’ll be returning. Sucre stopped by to help, and the process of breaking out of prison has begun. Michael got a new cell, but now the question is: why that cell? T-Bag and Mahone continued to stir up trouble. They’ll be along for the ride when everything goes down, if they’re not dead by then.

Scofield does a test from his cell. He drops a piece of tin foil on the ground near his cell at night. The guards spot it pretty easily.

Lincoln breaks the news to Michael that Susan has the bird book. When asked about photos of LJ and Sara, he pretends she wouldn’t let him keep them. His day’s not getting any better either, as Michael informs him he’ll need a vehicle in the middle of the day the next day, dashing his hopes for breaking out under the cover of darkness. Crazy yes, but they don’t have a choice.

Michael asks McGrady for a watch or two and binoculars. He lets him know where to get them, though this time he doesn’t want to know why.

He explains the plan to Whistler. He figured out that the daytime is better because there is no jeep patrol or perimeter guards, so they only have to get past two guards.

Sucre gets stopped by a couple guys who know he’s the new gravedigger. They want him to get something inside the prison in exchange for $5,000.

Since they’re shorthanded, now it’s time to get Mahone involved. Aside from the whole not being able to be trusted thing, he’d make a nice ally.

One of the guards has to turn away when there’s a glare, at the same time every day. Whistler tests this by throwing a ball into the yard. The guard doesn’t notice it. He kept looking the other way for at least 6 minutes. The other guard’s not budging but is a sports fanatic who did stop to adjust the TV when he had trouble with it, so they plan to disrupt his shows to distract him.

There’s a new prisoner in town, one who seems to know Whistler and is snooping around and finding out more than anyone else seems to be smart enough to find out. Mahone notices this and confronts him.

Sophia and Lincoln are driving along and get pulled over. They’re told all roads within 2 miles of Sona are off limits. Time for plan B.

Michael asks Whistler what’s so urgent about getting him out of there can’t wait until the day after tomorrow. He says he doesn’t know.

Sucre happily sneaks the package into the prison, narrowly escaping being busted. The intended recipient, one of Lechero’s men, grabs it.

Scofield comes up with a plan to attach a power source to a transmitter, which will interfere with anything electronic. The guard gets distracted and messes with his TV, but then he shoots. I didn’t think he was shooting in Scofield’s direction, but he apparently was. The colonel charges into the prison, a siren sounds, and all the prisoners must go into the yard. They believe they saw a rifle scope pointing at one of the guards and plan to search the prison until they find it. They search and find Scofield’s binoculars and start asking prisoners one by one whose cell it is. Scofield readily admits it’s his cell. A gun is pulled on him, and he’s asked why he was watching them.

He says he wasn’t watching him. Whistler interrupts and says it’s his. He says he was watching birds. He pulls out the bird book and shows it to them. Satisfied with that answer (except for the guard, who still seems suspicious), they turn around and also leave the binoculars behind. Unfortunately, they locked up the cell while they were there, meaning the loss of supplies and an exit point.

Sucre’s got himself trapped now. They expect him to keep sneaking stuff into the prison.

The new prisoner comes up to Whistler and calls him McFadden, saying he knew him from 1997. Whistler plays him off as being crazy, but it’s obvious he’s lying.

Mahone proves useful. He notices a guard who needs his coffee fix, and Mahone managed to grab a coffee cup from the courtyard, offering them a new plan.

Prison Break Season 3 Episode 4

In Prison Break Season 3 episode 3, Michael and Link tried to pull a fast one and rescue LJ and Sara, but they were unable to get them in time. Susan B. Anthony warned Link not to interfere again and left him something in the garage as a warning. So for episode 4 Good Fences, we’re now left with one question: what’s in the box?

Lincoln goes to visit Michael, who asks him to reach out to the prison’s gravedigger. Link starts to feel sorry for all the people who have been hurt because of him. Link has a flashback to what was in the box. It’s Sara’s head. Sure to piss off Michael if he finds out. No attempt here to even try to keep hope alive for her and Scofield.

When he goes to visit Susan, she says the company did handwriting analysis on the book he gave her, and she wants the actual one since she knows he wrote what was in the other one.

Michael asks McGrady for a favor (he wants his cross), and instead of just cooperating without questions, he says this time he wants to know why. He then goes to a slowly losing it Mahone and asks him for a favor, a felt tip pen, and he tells him to get his act together. Bellick then goes up to Mahone and wants to help.

Sophia confronts Whistler about him breaking out and tells him she wants to help. She insists on getting involved no matter what he says.

When the electricity goes out, Lechero goes to Scofield for a fix (no electricity means no phone, and no phone means big trouble). Since the electricity is outside the walls, Michael tells him he can’t fix it, and Lechero responds that he’s going to have to. Michael pretends to be concerned about the danger involved. He asks for a specific cell, claiming he wants it because it’s the first one to get sunlight in the morning.

Sucre wants to leave the country to get a job. Lincoln asks him to stick around to be a translator. Sucre doesn’t want to miss his bus, but just as they’re talking, Sophia shows up looking to help.

Whistler tells Michael he knows who he is. He says Bellick’s not in but Mahone is, or at least he thinks he is.

Bellick runs and tells Lechero that Scofield’s planning on breaking out. He tells him about how he trusted Michael in Fox River, which allowed him to break out of there. He informs him of something Scofield buried where they’re digging, and Lechero makes him unbury whatever it was. He shows him it’s just duct tape, or at least that’s his story anyway. Then he goes to turn the switch on and has a flashback to why the power’s off. He took the cross and jammed it in there to make believe they lost power. Removing the cross made the power go back on. He has to wait for an opening while Lechero’s there watching him, but he manages to get the power back on.

T-Bag’s up to his old tricks. He kills one of Lechero’s men, pretending it’s a drug overdose. Lechero tells him there’s now an opening on his crew.

Mahone’s slowly going more and more insane without his drugs. He’s hearing and seeing Haywire, one of my favorite characters from season 1.

Lincoln and Susan buy off the gravedigger, or so they think. They bring him $15,000, and he demands more. Susan’s response? She shoots him, saying he’ll just sell them out to the cops.

The power being back on is enough to get Lechero to trust Scofield again. Bellick, however, is in trouble. It’s time to start torturing him.

Scofield gets his new cell and thinks all is going well, but Mahone stops by and threatens him. He tells him he’s going with him and isn’t his errand boy.

Lincoln stops by the prison again. As could be expected, he tells Michael Sara’s fine. The good thing to come out of it is that Sucre feels bad about Sara’s death, so he comes back to help. He takes the gravedigger’s place. They spray a chemical used to kill the odors of bodies, which also eats through steel, such as fences.

As usual, return to dingoRUE for spoilers posted throughout the week about next week’s episode.
