The Biggest Loser Season 16 Episode 16

Pretty much nothing happened in The Biggest Loser Season 16 Episode 15. Makeover week concluded with an unsurprising non-elimination, and although someone at Comeback Canyon won to return to the house, they didn’t want to tell us who.

So that’s where we open up this week’s show. Bob walks through the door of the weigh in room. They are happy to see him until they find out he’s not alone. Behind him is Woody, who survived one whole week at Comeback Canyon.

Rob particularly overreacts as is his pattern. He just thought he was in the final three. A few minutes later, he realizes he’s back to the final five. Dolvett wants him to embrace some emotion other than anger. At least he’s not quitting like the bunch of whiners from a few season ago.

From his starting weight of 366 pounds, Scott is down to 240 pounds today.

Bob identifies with Rob right away. He sees himself in him. One of his first courses of action is to help him tackle a familiar obstacle, the vertical jump on to a box.

Their challenge is to row 2000 meters then shoot medicine basketballs of various weights up to 10 pounds from behind or on the free throw line. Toma is the first to finish rowing with Woody behind him then Rob, Lori, and eventually Sonya. Rob, Lori, and Toma are neck and neck. If anyone thought this was a skill-based event, Rob’s granny shots suggest otherwise. In a photo finish, Toma comes out just ahead of Rob to win a 1 pound advantage. His overhand shots arriving at the basket quicker seem to be the difference.

On weigh in day, Sonya will turn 40, which is an emotional day of regret of what she has not accomplished, despite what she may have done over the past few months.

Toma: 202 pounds (-14, -1, 6.94%)
Lori: 220 pounds (-6, 2.65%)
Sonya: 169 pounds (-6, 3.43%)
Rob: 315 pounds (-15, 4.55%)
Woody: 274 pounds (-11, 3.86%)

With his best week of the season, Toma’s advantage proves irrelevant. Lori put up what seemed to be a pretty good number and is now at the weight she was when she left the Olympic team in 2004, but she has fallen below the red line.
