Pam was eliminated in The Biggest Loser Season 14 Episode 4, bringing the white team to one fnal member.
They return from the workout looking for food. If only the cabinets and fridge weren’t empty. They find a note asking to meet Alison at the grocery store. Each person is given $10 a day to shop for their food for the week, and they go on about it as if it’s some dramatically small amount. Lisa’s in charge of her team because she feeds a family of six on a budget, albeit not healthy food. Meanwhile, Danni is on her own. She’s worried she’ll go over, but she actually ends up spending $61 of her $70.
David and Gina remain concerned that the blue team’s winning (or lack of losing) streak will come to an end, making one of them the target to go home. Bob warns his team they’re set up to lose this weigh in.
Alex is throwing herself a pity party about her low numbers, and after she walks out of the gym, Bob says the problem is she’s half assing everything.
Nicki and TC return for a photo shoot. I’m a little surprised they’re letting a quitter come back. Nicki has lost 50 pounds; TC has lost 80 pounds.
Jillian has decided to be a different Jillian because Danni can’t handle the usual ranting.
Continuing this week’s trend of eating on a budget, chef Devin Alexander (whatever happened to Curtis Stone?) will show them how to make tasty and healthy meals without spending much. Her lesson for the day is to eat sweet potatoes instead of regular potatoes and use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream.
Gina doesn’t like the food this week, and she acknowledges she hasn’t been giving it her all for the last few days.
At the challenge, each member of the winning team will receive 10 Planet Fitness memberships that they can give away to people they know. Additionally, they will have a choice between a 2 pound advantage on the scale or a chance to call home. Since every weigh in has been a matter of 1-2 pounds, there’s a smart choice here, but the 5 minute phone call looks appealing to a lot of them.
Their task is to get 10 (5 pound) coins each into their fountains. in the center of the pond. David has not been medically cleared. Red team hits the half way mark first with Danni in second place. Blue team’s out of it, and they’re not even going to bother pretending otherewise. In the end, it comes down to the final coin between white and red teams, and Danni manages to win the challenge.
If anyone won’t make this an emotional decision, it’s Danni. 2 pounds for a team of 5 may not be a big deal, but it’s huge for an individual who is going home if she loses the weigh in. Her decision should be enough to make it a battle of blue against red.
In his visit to Dr. H, David reveals that he had previously injured his leg on a treadmill, something he failed to mention to Bob before it happened again at the ranch. While there, he seems to have a breakthrough that it’s okay to ask for help.
Gina and Alex are not alone. Jeff joins in the doom and gloom mentality of the blue team, saying it seemed he slacked off a couple days as well.
Joe: 299 pounds (-11, 3.55%)
Francelina: 224 pounds (-7, 3.03%)
Jackson: 280 pounds (-8, 2.78%)
Lisa: 209 pounds (-5, 2.34%)
Red Total: 1012 pounds (-31, 2.97%)
Gina: 197 pounds (-9, 4.37%)
Michael: 371 pounds (-13, 3.39%)
Jeff: 329 pounds (-13, 3.80%)
David: 253 pounds (-10, 3.80%)
Alex: 207 pounds (-10, 4.61%)
Blue Total: 1357 pounds (-55, 3.90%)
Danni: 213 pounds (-9, -2, 4.95%)
For all the drama from every single member of the blue team, it didn’t impact their results any. Even without the 2 pounds, Danni is safe. That sends the otherwise drama free red team to the elimination room for a second time. As The Biggest Loser from his team, Joe has immunity.
