After Brendon was evicted (again) in Big Brother 13 Episode 19, we left off at the start of an endurance HOH competition.
Daniele’s hopes rest in the victory of Kalia or Porsche. Seeing as it’s not a multiple guess competition, I think we can count out Kalia. Porsche, who hasn’t done anything all year, is looking strong, though.
Jeff realizes he’s probably the biggest target now that Brendon is gone.
After the bubbles have been coming down for a while, the rain starts. It’s just getting more and more slippery. To top it off, the suds are getting in their eyes. This certainly adds an element of challenge to the challenge, but it does seem kind of silly.
They’re about half way done in 45 minutes. Jeff’s in the lead with Porsche and Rachel behind him. As it gets closer to the end, it’s pretty clear who’s going to win. Jeff has a nice rhythm down and is increasing his lead. Realizing she’s going to lose, Rachel decides to start cheering him on. After an hour and a half, Jeff wins HOH by a large margin.
Shelly hasn’t learned her lesson from getting busted trying to make a final three deal with Rachel and Brendon. And by the way, could somebody please show her the video of that conversation so she stops whining about it and making a bigger fool out of herself? She wants Rachel gone, and she lets the other side of the house know it, telling them Jeff and Jordan are dragging an idiot along with them (an idiot other than Shelly I guess).
Not content with talking behind her back, Shelly confronts Rachel. She’s not happy that Rachel is “making eyes” at her. Huh? Jeff’s happy to see that Rachel bites her tongue and just lets Shelly ramble.
The have nots get hard boiled eggs and jalapenos. The jalapenos are stupid because there’s only so many of those you can eat (for some people, that number would be 0), but the eggs are not bad. Jeff must select three people to be have nots. Porsche and Daniele have not been have nots, so they are selected, and their best friend Kalia may join them.
Kalia asks Rachel to speak to Jeff alone. Her only angle is to target Rachel. He already warned her 2 weeks ago she’s the target, so she should expect repercussions.
Daniele assumes her alliance will be nominated. She’s okay with that.
Porsche approaches Jeff and offers to keep him safe if he keeps her safe. This is the first time she has talked game with him. It’s day 49.
Nominations
Rachel is safe.
Shelly is safe.
Adam is safe.
Jordan is safe.
Daniele is safe.
Porsche and Kalia have been nominated for eviction. He assumes their first action after being nominated will be to go take a nap.
