Jillian Michaels announced on Twitter her plans to leave The Biggest Loser after next season.
She said that “season 11 of Biggest Loser will be my last 🙂 have to finish out my contract.” As for her replacement, “they already hired her. Using my last season to help launch her in season 11.”
Her explanation for wanting to leave is that “Shooting Losing It also had big impact on me. Living with kids I saw first hand what I was missing.”
She added, “I want to take a year off TV and focus on becoming a mommy and doing more charity work.”
Michaels had previously left the show after season 2, only to come back as a surprise twist in season 4, where she led the underdog black team to the end.
