Keeping with this season’s theme of targeting lame showmances, Rachel nominated Kristen & Hayden in Big Brother 12 Episode 11.
Brendon asks Rachel to start thinking before she speaks. Seems she was trying to take a page out of Janelle’s playbook when she used the phrase “bring it on.” He doesn’t want her to be upset with him. She is. Again. Dude, give it up. You’re not gonna like this chick when you’re out of the house, and she’s killing your game. Rachel agrees to apologize, although it’s not taken as sincere by Hayden. Regardless, she anticipates some pity from Brendon, which is not forthcoming.
It’s time for the veto competition.
Rachel chooses Britney at random.
Hayden chooses Ragan at random.
Kristen chooses Enzo at random.
Rachel doesn’t think Britney would use the veto. Hayden doesn’t think Ragan would use the veto. Enzo has no intention of using the veto, and he will be fine with Kristen’s elimination.
They walk outside to wizards and pinball. They are granted one shot on a giant pinball table for each round to try to hit the veto mark in the center. The eliminated players will win prizes, which they can keep or exchange with somebody else.
Britney mocks Brendon’s hosting ability because she can then scores a 5. Kristen scores a 2. Hayden gets a perfect shot, and so do Rachel, Ragan, and Enzo. Kristen is the first one out, and she’s got the power of veto. Hayden scores a 5 to start off round 2. Rachel gets a 5 as well. Ragan bounces in and out to get stuck with a 1. Enzo scores a 6. Britney scores a 2. That’s enough for Ragan to be eliminated, and he receives a veto ticket, which guarantees a spot in next week’s veto competition. Rachel scores a 6 in round 3. Enzo gets a 1. Britney gets a 6. Hayden makes a perfect shot, eliminating Enzo, who receives a 3D flat screen TV. Britney makes a perfect shot to start round 4. Hayden gets a perfect shot, too. Rachel scores a 6. Close but not good enough, and she must take a prize that has been selected. That person she takes the prize from will be given a second chance and return to the pinball game. She takes the veto ticket, and Ragan is back. Hayden gets a 6. Ragan scores a 1. Yeah, Rachel probably should have picked somebody who doesn’t suck. Britney gets a perfect shot. Ragan is eliminated again, and he earns $5,000, which he can keep or give away at any time. He doesn’t want that target on his back, so he trades the money to Rachel for the veto ticket. She doesn’t want the money either and begs him to reconsider. Britney makes a perfect shot in the final round. Hayden gets a 5. After he is eliminated, Hayden wins the hippie-tard for a week. He’ll give Kristen that in exchange for the veto. Britney’s prize is solitary confinement for 24 hours. Having just taken the veto, Hayden will now head to solitary confinement, as Britney wins veto.
Kristen’s crying after the competition. So are their lies about supposedly not being an item over now?
After 24 whole hours, Hayden walks out of solitary. It seems he believes that he and Kristen are still hiding what they have. Nobody’s buying it. Nobody really was buying it before either.
Hayden has an offer for Britney: use the veto so that Kathy goes up, and he and Kristen will have her back to the end. Britney wants him to talk Rachel and Brendon into putting Kathy on the block. He suggests having a couples alliance, which he has no intention of sticking by. Rachel doesn’t believe he’s really going to go against all of his friends just to ally with her and Brendon.
When Britney talks to Rachel, she changes her tune. Perhaps she’s not going to put up Kathy. How about Lane?
At the veto ceremony, Hayden promises saving him will help her. Kristen says she’s on the block but didn’t do anything to deserve it (uh, you had a “secret” showmance that you kept secret by making out with other people in the room). Britney has opted to not use the power of veto on either of them.
