Big Brother 12 Episode 7

Following Britney’s veto win in Big Brother 12 Episode 6, Matt decided it would be wise for him to volunteer to go on the block against Monet.

In a change of heart, Monet decides that she hates Rachel’s guts. Oh wait, that’s what she already thought before, which is the reason why she’s in danger.

Monet and Britney hate everyone in the house. Yeah, I think I already saw this storyline last time and the time before that.

Hayden seems to have a showmance with Kristen, a secret showmance, and it’s no longer just in his head (not entirely anyway). Apparently, his idea of keeping a secret is kissing five feet away from Andrew.

Rachel comes up with a random lie that Britney thinks she has Kristen’s vote for Monet to stay. What’s the point of this? Oddly enough, this pointless lie does not backfire.

With all they’ve been through, you’d think Rachel would have learned by now. Nope. Somehow, she thinks that Britney may be her ally. Yeah, just like how The Brigade is her ally. She decides to tell her that Matt volunteered himself to go up as a pawn. Considering how badly Rachel and Brendon have buried themselves, this may not be the worst strategy, though. Getting Britney riled up about Matt may just save Rachel’s butt at some point by giving them a common enemy. Matt is simply playing too hard.

After their chat, Rachel calls a house meeting. For religious reasons, Andrew cannot come to this meeting. His god apparently prohibits him from associating with idiots. This time, it’s not just about telling one person Matt’s plans. Nope, the whole house needs to hear this. Matt’s defense is that he felt strongarmed by them. Really? He tells Rachel the hard truth. No matter who wins HOH, she and Brendon are targets.

Julie insists on talking to Rachel. That means we have to listen to her voice/giggling. Would it be possible for someone to slap her?

Votes
Andrew: Monet
Enzo: Monet
Britney: Matt
Kathy: Matt
Hayden: Monet
Kristen: Monet
Ragan: Monet
Brendon: Monet
Lane: Monet

By a vote of 7-2, Monet has been evicted from the Big Brother house. Monet leaves with a wave, not even hugging Britney. She said goodbye to Kathy (what was up with her vote?) and Britney already last night. She has no regrets about how much of a bitch she was about Rachel.

The houseguests jump on surfboards. The last person standing on their board will be the HOH. The first five people to fall off their boards (plus Rachel) will be the haves for the week. It’s going to be a long night.
