His competitive drive no doubt comes from his love of sports. “Big O’Neal” (as he is affectionately known) has been coaching and playing football for over 35 years. Recently his oldest brother had a severe asthma attack and died before his 58th birthday. His brother’s untimely death has served as a wake-up call to O’Neal, and he is committed to becoming healthy and losing the weight for good.

I’m 45 and have been fit my whole life and have never felt empathy for the contestants of this show; its just hard for me to understand. Last night though you and your daughter made me cry and I so hope you win and even if you don’t I’m rooting for you the whole way. You’ve been given a platform and motivation to do this. . epsecially for your daughter and your family. Good Luck
