He scrambled to turn his fate around, but with Kathy holding immunity, time was up for Boston Rob, as he was voted out in Survivor: Marquesas Episode 7.
Now the other 5 have one shot (and only one shot) at preventing the same thing from happening to them.
Kathy assumes Sean will be the next one gone. He doesn’t work hard, complains a lot, and then there’s his issue with flatulence.
Not content with the previous answer she got, Kathy confronts Zoe again. Zoe again denies there was any plan, saying that Rotu wants to get them back together. Kathy again considers this a lie.
Although Kathy would like to get rid of some of the power players, she’s not sure if she can get Paschal to listen. She pretty much can’t. He doesn’t care if they are used for others to get to the top.
The contestants are given kites to build and fly for the reward challenge. As a teaser for the reward, they each get a piece of a Snickers bar. The actual reward is deep sea diving. What exactly is the relationship between Snickers and deep sea diving? Most of these people have apparently never flown a kite before. Kathy, however, has good luck getting her kite to soar. Unusually, she is not forced to pick one person to go with her.
The Rotu 4 plus Paschal and Neleh have decided to vote the same for the next three votes, after which Paschal and Neleh will be voted out. Sean is their next target.
When she’s done diving, Kathy returns to give them each a piece of her Snickers. It’s not going to buy her any friends, but they’re happy to have some chocolate.
Sean talks to Kathy, who’s on the same wavelength. She goes to Neleh. Like Paschal, she doesn’t care either. John is quite thoroughly amazed that Neleh and Paschal are so stupid. He’s happy to have two free passes.
Sean knows he’s gone unless he wins immunity. The bad news for him is that it’s a pecking order challenge. Not only will he not win, but he will be eliminated first. There’s nothing he can do about it. Each correct answer in the challenge allows that person to chop a rope tied to coconut bundles. Three chops to eliminate someone.
In a prolonged survival situation, drinking large quantities of coconut milk will help combat dehydration. True of false?
False. It has a laxative effect. Robert, Sean, and Tammy are correct. Sean chops John. Tammy chops Sean. Robert follows suit.
Cannibalism was common in the Marquesas for what reason?
To seize the power of the person being eaten. John, Vecepia, Zoe, Sean, and Neleh are correct. Vecepia chops Kathy. Sean chops John. John chops and eliminates Sean. Neleh chops Vecepia. Zoe chops Vecepia.
When in a survival situation at sea without fresh water, you should refrain from eating. True or false?
True. John, Robert, Paschal, Zoe, and Tammy are right. Paschal chops and eliminates Vecepia. He’ll get his. Tammy chops Kathy. Robert chops and eliminates Kathy. Zoe chops Paschal. John chops Neleh. Paschal chops Zoe.
After some more questions, John is eliminated by Robert, then John eliminates Paschal.
In the Marquesas islands, what is a horse?
A horse like any other found all over the world. Robert, Tammy, and Neleh are correct. Robert chops Zoe. Neleh chops Robert. Tammy chops Zoe. Robert chops Neleh. Tammy chops and eliminates Neleh.
The sea cucumber can actually be deadly to human beings. True or false?
False. It can cause burns but is not deadly. Tammy is correct. She eliminates Robert to win immunity.
Are Paschal and Neleh finally starting to wake up now that they know what the pecking order is? Neleh has no intention of going down fifth or sixth.
Paschal acknowledges he started playing the game late. Actually, he thinks he started playing today.
