Following Casey’s eviction, we were left at the start of an endurance competition for HOH in Big Brother 11 Episode 10.
Jeff is happy to see the cliques gone because it means he can target the people in his clique (or that they can target him, which they would have done if they had the chance). Natalie is not happy. She liked having the added security. Chima is happy to get rid of those dorks.
So who’s the rat who voted out Jordan? Russell will be keeping that vote to himself. If it were intentional to stir up the house into a frenzy, I’d support it, but doing it to keep your word to a guy who’s not a factor doesn’t make much sense. Jessie realizes that Russell is hopefully still on his side, but that he’s a loose cannon who’s hot headed.
Kevin is the first to fall at 21 minutes. Lydia falls at 25 minutes. Kevin’s graduation gift is $5,000, which he hopes nobody targets him over. Lydia’s gift is a 42″ flat screen TV, an improvement over the 12″ TV she stole from her ex. Jessie’s not happy that they dropped so quickly and didn’t try. Natalie’s losing her lunch, but she’s not the next one out. Ronnie is at 46 minutes. Natalie is not far behind at 49 minutes. Ronnie gets nothing. Natalie gets also nothing. Jordan falls at 1 hour 37 minutes, unable to feel her legs. She gets the last prize, which also comes with a consequence. She’s a have for a week, and at the end of the competition, she must choose three houseguests to be have notes for the week. Fairest solution that also works strategically: the first three to fall. After being battered for a while, Chima falls at 2 hours 22 minutes. Jessie’s worried. He’s got Russell up there, but he doesn’t trust him. At 2.5 hours with Michele, Jeff, and Russell still left, Jessie tells Russell to make a deal with Jeff: if he drops, Ronnie will go up. Jeff’s willing to talk, if Michele falls. Jessie just wants Russell to know that he’s on his side. Michele falls at 2 hours and 41 minutes, but not before her pants fall off first.
Down to 2 and over 3 hours now. Jordan wants them to make a deal. Back to Ronnie. 46 hours ago, Russell overhead Ronnie talking badly about him to Lydia and Kevin (or rather, she talked badly and he agreed). Everybody else goes inside so they can talk. Russell swears on his dad that, not only is Jeff safe, but his partner Jordan is safe, too, a dangerous proposition. Normally, those words are the kiss of death, but Jeff accepts the deal. At 3 hours and 38 minutes, Jeff drops. Russell wins HOH.
With Russell as HOH, it’s time for the whole house to start feeling vulnerable.
Now that the competition is over, Jordan has to make a decision on who to be a have not. She draws from a hat: Natalie (who has a slop pass), Kevin, and Jessie. Although it was completely random, Jessie throws a fit.
Jessie realizes that Russell doesn’t control everybody’s votes, so Ronnie won’t necessarily go home if he’s put up. Anyway, Jessie and Natalie have decided they’re upset with Kevin and Lydia because they dropped first and got prizes.
Ronnie is begging America for the power. He promises to use it for good (aka Jessie and Natalie). Good luck with that pitch, dude.
Russell would like to form an alliance with Jeff, in hopes of giving them a big advantage in physical competitions.
This week, the have nots get squash and squid. This gets dumber every week.
Lydia plans to do whatever it takes to avoid getting nominated. The sweet talking isn’t working, but trying to sell out Jessie and Natalie may give him food for thought.
Chima, Jessie, and Natalie are next. Now that he tells them what he just heard, they’re all after Lydia worse than they were before.
Ronnie realizes he’s in jeopardy. He hopes he’s not part of the deal. He’d like to see Lydia and Kevin, the floaters, get nominated. Russell tells him he’s safe.
Nominations
Jeff is safe.
Jessie is safe.
Jordan is safe.
Chima is safe.
Michele is safe.
Natalie is safe.
Kevin is safe.
Lydia and Ronnie have been nominated for eviction. Not pulling any punches, he nominated Ronnie for what he overheard and for being a snake. He has nothing to say about why he nominated Lydia.
