Big Brother 11 Episode 9

After he won HOH, Jessie nominated Michele and Jordan in Big Brother 11 Episode 8. Both of them are pawns. Half the house, Jessie’s enemies, wants him to backdoor Ronnie. However, his main ally Natalie wants him to target Casey.

Jessie doesn’t view Ronnie as a threat to himself. He’s an extra target for someone else, and he’s also a potential ally.

Michele doesn’t believe anybody will actually stick their neck out there for her, nor is she giving anyone a reason to do so.

Ronnie offers to play in POV for Michele. Not happening. She doesn’t trust him to save her. Yeah, that attitude will gain her support. If he wins it, he’s safe, too. What harm is there in trusting him? Granted, he has less reason to use it than some of the other people in the house, but anybody else using it would rather save Jordan.

Chima’s onboard with the Casey plan. She wouldn’t mind Michele going home either. Kevin says he’s not really concerned about Ronnie either. Lydia’s fine with keeping Ronnie here.

While playing truth or dare, Kevin is dared to cuddle with Jessie for 10 seconds. Jessie is sleeping, but he wakes up to Kevin cuddling him. Ronnie is dared to give Casey a 20 second hug. This goes off better than the Jessie cuddle did, or so it appears at first. Casey has noticed that Ronnie is now hanging out with Russell. When all’s said and done, don’t ever send a rat to hug him again. It really isn’t going to be hard to convince these people to vote against Casey.

Now that Jessie’s told everybody his plan to backdoor Casey, it’s time to choose up for the veto competition. Regardless, Casey believes the Ronnie plan is still in play.

Jessie chooses Jeff.
Michele chooses Casey.
Jordan chooses Chima.

Ronnie does not have a chance to participate, but Casey is given the opportunity to save himself. Casey says he doesn’t care who wins, though. If Casey does somehow win, Jessie does not have a lot of choice here. He’s already made deals with the rest of the house telling them they’re safe, with the exception of Jeff, who he can’t nominate.

For the veto competition, the houseguests all get dressed up as pigs. Jordan is excited to do some mud wrestling, but they will just search for truffles. They can keep 4 that they think are high enough. The person with the highest total after 5 minutes will win. They will also face a few temptations along the way. Michele and Jordan know they need the veto. Casey assumes it doesn’t matter because Ronnie is the target anyway. Chima’s strategy is to stay clean in all this mud, which may be/contain manure.

Once they are done with the competition, they are allowed to pick from 6 envelopes, which may add points, subtract points, or be a surprise. Michele is willing to take a gamble and take an envelope. Casey feels safe, so he’s just looking for some stuff and chooses an envelope. Jeff picks an envelope, as does Jessie. Jordan and Chima decline.

Jessie: 26 points plus $2500 plus 5 points from the envelope, for a total of 31 points
Jordan: 24 points
Jeff: 27 points minus 5 points from the envelope, for a total of 22 points
Chima: 25 points
Casey: 22 points plus a margarita party plus a banana suit for a week (if he lasts that long) from the envelope
Michele: 28 points plus 7 points from the envelope, for a total of 35 points

Michele wins the power of veto, and she’s happy that she showed everyone that she can win a competition that required luck and a willingness to take a gamble.

The banana suit definitely looks like it will prove to be less enjoyable than the red unitard.

Who would Michele want to see go up, since she’s won? Oh, and she can’t pick Ronnie. Jessie says that he didn’t want someone to win the competition. By simple deduction, that leads her to know that the giant banana is his target. She plans to be nice to Jessie since he’s got the power, but she intends to get the votes and get rid of him eventually. Her and all her allies apparently.

Kevin suggests to Lydia that she should tell Jessie to cut ties with Natalie. Yeah, why don’t you do that, dude? Anyway, Kevin’s got a new plan. Keep Casey, get rid of Jordan.

Lydia tells Jordan the plan to nominate Casey, pretending like she’s not entirely sure. Jordan runs to tell Jeff. Jeff goes to Casey. Not wanting to wait until he’s on the block, we come full circle, as Casey wants to talk to Jessie, who tells him the right guy will be going home.

The Casey/Jeff/Jordan triangle is in a lose-lose situation regardless of what happens should Casey be the replacement, but Jessie really doesn’t have a lot of choice.

Michele has saved herself. Casey is the replacement nominee. It’s a nuthouse around here. Said the man in the banana suit. Jordan wants to know why Ronnie’s looking at her like that.

Jordan is tired of being on the block every week. She plans to win HOH next week. She believes she may not be the smartest Crayon in the box (I can’t be alone in not having heard that expression before)… but she’s not that dumb. Casey didn’t think Jessie was dumb enough to nominate an arch enemy.
