Four more women went home in The Bachelor 13 Episode 4. First, Nikki had to pack her bags following the awkward two-on-one date. Then, uninterested in keeping six women around, Jason decided to send an extra person packing, as Lauren, Megan, and Shannon did not receive roses.
The final five will be going to Seattle to meet Jason’s family. Jason arrives back in Seattle and stops to see Ty first.
Melissa gets the first one-on-one date. As Jason’s attempting to get ready for the date, Ty is being cranky and preventing him from leaving. The producers need to buy this kid a bucket of candy or something. After Melissa’s been waiting for a while, Jason calls her to tell her the plans have changed. It’s going to be just a casual date instead, but it does mean she’ll get to spend a typical night with Jason. He’s not ready for any of the girls to meet Ty yet (apparently, waiting for the very next visit to Seattle instead will allow him to be ready), but he does let her have a peek at him while he’s sleeping. They talk about a visit to her hometown. She doesn’t bring guys home usually but will make an exception because there’s something special there (and she’s being forced to).
Stephanie, Jillian, and Molly get the group date. They go on a cruise around Seattle, including the Sleepless in Seattle house. Stephanie is happy they’ve taken it slowly because that’s how a love that’s gonna last should be. She gets to talk to her daughter once in a while, and she really enjoyed the date where Sophia got to come out. They all get to go to the local radio station with Jackie and Bender, where Jason is brought on the air to answer some questions, though the girls are in a sound proof room (but the two girls sitting at home get to listen). Jason says the most amazing date was with Stephanie when her daughter came for her birthday. He says that Molly is the best kisser. As a test, they’re going to blindfold him and make him kiss them, and he gets them all right, impressive considering how many women he’s been making out with lately. Stephanie and Jillian love his eyes, while Molly most likes his smile. Then the girls have to answer what it’s like when the lights go out. Molly likes lingerie, Jillian likes fun, and Stephanie wants to make sure the guy is taken care of.
They return to the hotel for dinner, where all the women seem to get along really well. Jason takes Jillian aside because he notices something different in her eyes. She’s been stressed out because there are other girls involved, and she thinks that maybe her expectations are too high but not unrealistic. Molly gets some alone time next and takes a walk outside. She wants to make sure that her family approves because they didn’t like her ex.
Naomi gets the second one-on-one date. They hop in a seaplane to get a different type of tour of Seattle. Stephanie says that Naomi’s not on the same maturity level as everybody else. After the plane lands, they head to a sporting goods store to climb a rock wall, which she calls the perfect date for her. Jason says that he’s really changed due to his experience with DeAnna (6 whole months earlier). Naomi has been very independent of her family because she feels like she got ditched, but she’s getting closer to her mom as she gets older. The other girls believe that Jason and Naomi are in the friendzone.
The next morning, Jason comes to see the girls because he fears that Jillian could break his heart. They go have a chat, and she acknowledges that she has strong feelings for him as well and is not just there for an adventure. He suggests that she should just put herself first and forget about all the other girls.
Jason is wondering whether Melissa can actually be that perfect for him. He knows Stephanie is very giving. Molly’s connection with her family is important. Everything is easy with Naomi, though it’s developing slowly.
At the rose ceremony, Jason’s still got questions. He wants to talk with Naomi now. This makes Molly panic and think she will be sent home. Naomi says she loves the family life and would be fine with sometimes just staying at home and eating popcorn and watching a movie.

Stephanie has been eliminated. Jason calls her the most amazing person he’s ever met… but the spark just isn’t there. The other girls cry as she leaves, but she doesn’t seem overly surprised by her elimination. He hopes to have her in his life forever as a friend. Stephanie expects to go to Heaven one day and see her husband again.
