The Biggest Loser Families Episode 5

With the Presidential debate on last night, we only got half way through the week, so tonight we get a special dose of The Biggest Loser. Following her contestants being lazy, Jillian threw Amy C out of the gym in The Biggest Loser Families Episode 4, and that’s where we pick back up tonight.

Much ado about nothing. Amy feels bad, comes back, and says she’s learned her lesson.

During the commercial for Subway, Bob has a small but useful tip: when you go somewhere, park in the furthest spot away so you get the exercise.

Michelle is struggling because she blames her mother for making her gain weight. The problem with her theory is that her emotional eating is based on her making her own choices. Jillian lets her know she’s gotta make the right choice.

Bob’s team is feeling pretty confident heading into the weigh in because they’ve noticed the lack of effort on the other side. As with last week, only one family will fall below the yellow line.

Coleen: 192 pounds (-3, 1.54%)

Michelle: 216 (-4)
Renee: 237 (-5)
Total: 453 pounds (-9, 1.95%)

Amy: 208 (-5)
Shellay: 194 (-4)
Total: 402 pounds (-9, 2.19%)

Amy: 199 (-5)
Phil: 287 (-3)
Total: 486 pounds (-8, 1.62%)

Heba: 266 (-8)
Ed: 299 (no change)
Total: 565 pounds (-8, 1.40%)

Vicky: 217 (-3)
Brady: 292 (-9)
Total: 509 pounds (-12, 2.30%)

Heba has the best week of anyone other than Brady, but it’s not enough to make up for Ed’s off week. Vicky and Brady are noticeably upset because they are close friends with Heba and Ed. Based on their discussion, it looks like Ed will be the one heading home. He blames himself for being below the yellow line, but more important is that he wants to see his wife able to have children and promises her that if he goes home he’ll be dedicated enough to stick to the program.

The decision is in. Ed and Heba have decided to send Ed home. Ed is down from his starting weight of 335 pounds to 250 pounds today.
