The Bachelorette 4 Episode 11

Now that we’ve found out who The Bachelorette 4 winner, it’s time to hear from the guys after the final rose.

Jason’s confused by what happened, as he never saw it coming. Unlike Jesse, who was full of doubt, Jason was so sure it was going to be him. He was shocked she let him get down on his knee. Even after all that’s happened, he still has feelings for DeAnna. Hopefully he won’t beg her to reconsider like she did with Brad, though.

It’s time to reunite him with DeAnna for a rumble. She realizes that she made him feel like she felt, which was something she was trying to avoid from the beginning, and she apologizes for hurting him. She tells him she picked Jesse on the final morning. He doesn’t have a question about whether it was about his son, but she wants him to know that it wasn’t about that. After sounding like a broken record all season about Brad, she’s now got more compassion for him after having seen what he went through. Jason doesn’t get why she never looked at him the same way she looked at Jesse (and Graham… Jesse’s apparently still trying to figure this part out, too). She was falling in love with Jason, but she was never in love with him. With this experience behind him, Jason has learned that he can love again, and I’m thinking we may be looking at our next The Bachelor here.

Matt and Shayne are back and still together to the surprise of many. Like DeAnna, he’s fallen in love with a completely different type of person than he would have expected. He’s almost killed her 5 times (in traffic they claim). She tells us not to believe everything we read. The proposal has nothing to do with a green card, and they’re still engaged. They plan to travel, or at least that’s what she tells him.

DeAnna says that she and Jesse will be friends with Jason for a long time. She felt that Jesse was the only man she could not live without. After a few minutes of working on convincing us not to judge Jesse by his exterior, for the first time in public, the engaged couple is together. Both of them were originally not expecting to fall in love with each other, but they’re happy they have gotten past those initial fears. DeAnna’s father says he predicted that she already knew she was going to be with Jesse.

They’ve set a date for the wedding. May 9, 2009 (yeah, we even get a year). The show will be sending them to Greece for their honeymoon. Ignoring the fact that these two are rushing things, is it possible this show will produce a second success story? Then again, perhaps that’s the secret to success. Don’t think. Just do. Whereas every other couple has given it a couple years and gotten sick of each other, these two seem to be in a mad dash down the aisle.

The Bachelor 13 has been confirmed for midseason. Stay tuned to dingoRUE for recaps.

  1. Hello Shane,

Is Jason the next Bachelor. First I voted for Jermey, now Jason.I think Graham would be interesting too. How about the other reality shows, Farmer wants a wife, are Matt and Brooke still together. I love New York, are Tiffeny and Tailor Maid still together. What’s T/M real name. And Bret Michaels Rock of Love. Are Bret and Ambre still together.

  2. There hasn’t been a decision yet who is the new Bachelor. I’d like to see Jason be it myself, and I think he can probably get the fan support for it.

I don’t expect to hear much about Farmer Wants a Wife. That was probably just a one shot deal that will fade quickly, but something may come up about it at some point, which I’ll post on the site if it does.

I don’t follow reality shows on cable (or most cable shows for that matter… the only one I watch is Kyle XY).
