Strike Deadline Passed

The contract for the Writers Guild of America, the union involved in most scripted television, expired as of midnight last night. This does not mean an immediate strike but does increase the likelihood of one. In a previous post, I went into the potential fallout in more depth, but in brief: bad news for scripted TV shows, good news for reality TV, news, and sports.
