When we left the hamsters in Big Brother 8 Episode 22, Jessica was crowned as the new HOH. With the exception of Zach, whoever she puts on the block, she’s breaking a bond with them, though even Zach has attempted to bond more with Jess than anyone else. Will she stick to her new alliance with Dick & Danielle, or will she gravitate back toward Jameka and Amber and not completely destroy that former alliance?
Tonight we start off with Big Brother whining about Jen eating again. Of course, there is no mention of Zach defending her choice. I may be in the minority, but I quite enjoyed it. She knew she was a goner and had been harassed all season. No need to follow some lame requirement that should not have been implemented in the first place (slop was lame for All Stars, and it’s lame now). We then relive everybody being stupid and forgetting she’s going to be in the jury house.
Eric fully knows he’s got no game with women but thinks he is the best choice of the remaining guys, which he’s probably right about. While walking out the door, Jen apparently told Amber to tell Jessica that Eric has a girlfriend named Cheryl and is a cheater. Eric plays it off as an on and off undefined thing.
Speaking of whining, Danielle continues to whine about/to her father. She doesn’t want him to be a parent, rude, or gross. Good luck with that. Eric and Jess think the fight is fake.
It’s time for a luxury competition for a Big Brother shopping spree. Jess decides to make it boys against girls. Everybody needs to strip to find the letters on their clothing to spell out words related to competitions. The girls panic. They will be covered in suds, but not completely. Amber manages to spell a word, which is probably the biggest surprise of the competition. Eric spells the word goat, which apparently has something to do with a competition he imagined. And that’s the kind of brainpower that was predominant on the male side. So obviously the girls won the shopping spree, where they had two minutes to grab as many clothes as they could.
Wow. This is. Wow. This segment on Amber’s delusion about being on America’s Next Top Model is leaving me speechless.
America tells Eric to get Amber nominated. Pretty easy task. His next task is to get him to kiss someone. Okay, now this is one time it would be hilarious for someone to vote for Dick, but it’s a pretty safe bet this one has to be Jessica, who he has already (finally after two months) kissed.

Zach and Amber have been nominated for eviction. Jessica would be comfortable with either of them leaving. Pretty safe week if one of them goes, as she retains both her relationship with Eric and Jameka and her word with Dick and Danielle. Will these nominations stick, or will she use veto to take out a real threat? Might be a bit too early to make a big move, but it’s not like there’s a lot of time left either. Granted, getting rid of Amber wouldn’t exactly hurt, and it would force Jameka to look to Jessica as her closest ally.
